Kids will have lots of fun and get to these farm animals.
I have been going to Phillips Farms for 4 years now. Every year with the corn maze in the fall and the strawberries in the spring I always enjoy my time there in their family friendly environment. The family and employees there are always so welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this farm to anyone for a day of fun at a affordable price.
Good place for families. A lot of staff is young and could use better training
They have the best strawberries during the summer, they re very sweet! The pumpkin patch was fun. Some of the employees are very nice but at the pumpkin patch, 2 employees were having a conflict and arguing in front of my son and I. They acted as if we weren t there. The teens here act like typical teens who dislike their job. They don t smile or greet you. Kind of ruins the experience!
Family friendly Fun! Nice and spacious for kids to run around. There were plenty of things to keep kids busy. Loved the pumpkin shoot and the tractor bikes for kids. Although they ran out of pumpkins to give the kids, it was still a nice time spent there.
Delicious strawberries! Fast, outstanding customer service! Highly recommend this beautiful farm.
Best value pumpkin patch/corn maze in the area! We spent 4 hrs there and had a blast
Phillip's Farm hosted a car show and we took our car there. Lots for the kids to do. Looking forward to cominh back just to visit the farm.
It was SOOOO much fun for our 3-year-old! We LOVED it! They had so many creative options for kids. Games, activities, rides... Such a cool place!
Great place for Halloween haunts. Been going for years
I ve heard great past feedback but my experience today sucked. My kids field trip was at the farm. In the past our school had the farm to themselves but today it was shared with 3 or 4 schools total. So the lines for activities were long and crowded. We found out later we had scheduled times but the school wasnt informed until later in the day. Life space was very over crowded. Also for the price we paid for the kids entry we were told they would also take home a pumpkin. I guess due to weather pumpkins went bad and we were not credited for the price difference. So technically we paid more than the price at the gate. I will never go back!
Great outdoor family fun. Lots of activities for kids. Impressed by their measures with covid.
Great place to take the family and enjoy the outdoors. If you are so inclined you can even have a beer.
It was like a farm fall theme park! As an adult, I had so much fun. I can only imagine how much of a blast a kiddo would have!
We had a wonderful time at family fun day on Halloween and we enjoyed the contactless trick or treat event. Covid precautions were being taken. There was so much to do and plenty of photo ops. The kids had a blast. They have a great corn maze and hay ride. Plenty of parking. Fun for all ages.
Fun place for kids. Lots of activities, corn maze, and pumpkin patch.
Great place for seasonal festivities and fun. Pick strawberries in the summer, get spooked and a pumpkin in the fall, and buy your Christmas tree and some hot cocoa in the winter. Fun and kid friendly place.
Wonderful farm, lots of activities for kids and adults.
This was a great place for me and my family to go to and the place is amazing fun and entertaining it's is not trying to get a lot of money out of u it's mostly just go in and do things. Next week I'm going to the haunted part at the Phillips farm and I will let u know how it is.
Great Halloween attraction in the RTP! Safe and fun environment to enjoy the 4 haunted farm attractions at a modest $20 per person admission with Free parking. We will return next year!
What a great place for families and kids. Tons of activities for kids and just a great place to spend the afternoon. The only downside was having to explain to our 3 year old that the farm was closing for the evening and carrying him back to the car in full meltdown. A farm employee told me that happens alot.
Really fun place to take the family and spend the day, very friendly staff and nothing overpriced.
Tons of activities for kids of all ages, very clean, and not too spread out.
We brought 7 kids ranging in age from 16 mos to 19 and THEY ALL HAD A BLAST! There is so much to do here!! Duck racing, cow train, goats, hamster wheel race, tricycle races, hayride, pumpkin catapulting!!! And a crazy fun corn maze!! I highly recommend Phillips Farm for hours of COVID safe, Uber fun!
Fun, but not as many activities as I had expected. My 4 year old still had a great time. Property was pretty.
Review update
Please call before going. They generally don't pick up
Their phone answering message is always incorrect aboutopen close timings
Cash only place, they do accept cheques with certain conditions. If you are going for strawberry picking, you can either bring your one bucket or buy one for 2$. There is a 5$ charge for entering the play area per person. They do have a vareity of activities to do in there. They should add a few areas with shade or big trees and a better rest room IMHO
I should have read the reviews before going this year. No enforcement of masks, not many sanitizing stations and social distancing was not realistic. What killed me was how many people (including staff) weren't wearing masks. Groups of non-maskers standing in entrances and exit spots, just very frustrating. We got there right when it opened and it wasn't that bad, but as more people came in it got worse. We usually love this spot every year but this was a year we should have skipped.
We had a great time! Lots of activities for the kids.
They do not have haunted houses this year but they do have haunted farm with haunted tractor ride, haunted corn maze("trail of lost souls") and both are good given all covid limitations. (Of course they still have regular attractions like pumpkins, hayrides, corn maze etc.)
They have taken good precautionary measures but only 3 out of 10 visitors were wearing masks while I was there. Full marks to the management but not to all the visitors.
Also recommend their Homemade hot spiced cider for just $2
I think Phillips Farms is great for kids, there are many activities, and can keep you entertained for a good amount of hours. The attractions are good for teens and adults too, it's a great family place. My only problem was the haunted maze, first of all it's only about 5 minutes if you walk at normal speed. Also it felt like the people were trying to chase and scare me to move on. Me and my friend wanted to walk through at our on pace. There was a guy chasing us, which did scare me but then he said in a normal frustrated voice, "move on". The actors could clearly be better at their job. However the rest of the haunted attractions are great like the haunted hayride, clown house, etc.
Okay attractions. Non friendly and at times rude staff (some exceptions). Overall not bad. But if staff was more welcoming this can be a better experience.
Fun place to takes your kids around Halloween. Lots of fun little activities for children. Take your kids here for strawberry picking. They will enjoy it.
My friends and I visited Phillips farm during their Halloween event. It was super fun, though the lines were long. Come early so you have time to try everything. The haunted houses, hayride and haunted corn maze were really popular among teens and families. I would say it s pretty scary, with loud noises and flashing lights (and evil clowns) so I maybe wouldn t recommend it for young kids. After trying all the activities, I think the hayride is the best/spookiest.
The location is pretty, but everything is ridiculously overpriced.
You pay an entry fee essentially to walk around someone's property, which I understand because they have staff and upkeep.
On the whole, it just isn't worth it because you can go to a living history farm for the same price and be more engaged.
The flip side of that is that kids will have a great time because there is a ton for them to do, but be ready to pay through the nose for a day out.
Amazing activities for the fall season, a good place in the town that gives kids a chance to experience farm living.
Very nice place. Lots of activities for the kids and the kids at heart.
Too expensive. Pumpkins should be included with entrance fee. Won't do it again.
Attended a Classic car Car Show to benefit Cancer association.
Great place awesome prices!! Would highly recommend it!
We adore the pumpkin patch and family activities every year (hours of fun,). This summer we also came to do you-pick strawberries, which was easy, fun, and well-priced (an hour was ample).
Honestly I'm not sure if it was just a special day but $25 for 2 people to enter was ridiculous.
Good place to spend Saturday or Sunday, especially with kids. Cow train is awesome.
Good for small Birthday parties.fun for kids.they should keep the hygiene in toilets.
Such a great local farm near town. Seasonal picking a different times of year to include strawberries and pumpkins. The fall festival in s great for the kiddos. we go every year.
Kids love this place. Their prices are a bit on the higher side, but worth it.
Best fall experience we've had. It has something for ALL ages. If you leave here and don't have fun, it's your fault. We will be coming back for years to come
Excellent place to take kids for hayrides, pumpkin picking, and assorted entertainment in the fall season. Pretty cool place, and our son loved it. Check out the pumpkin canon, need I say more
Don t go for strawberries! The field has a lot of drainage issues. Smelled like manure. We went up and down many rows to be left with about a pound of tasteless strawberries.
Went there on school field trip and had a blast! Very beautiful!
We attended the nighttime festivities. They have a haunted corn maze, hayride, and house. They do a pretty good job scaring folks with live actors and animatronics. Well worth the cost of admission. Get there early to beat the crowds. Scream real loud to annoy the neighbors!
Came here with some friends and we had a lot of fun! We walked through the corn maze, went on a wagon ride, and played some of the games at the family park. Just so you know, it was 5 of us and we are all in our 20s. This is a fun place for people of all ages. I'm sure at some point we will be back.
It has been a few years but we went in their last day if the year for halloween. It was AWESOME. Many improvements in the activities and my kids had a blast.
We go to Phillips farm almost every year for their fall fun and we are never disappointed. We weren't sure what to expect with covid mandates in place but there was still plenty for the kids to do, staff were friendly and mostly on their game with sanitizing. Despite a few families not wearing masks it was a great day of fun. We all needed it!
Very expensive I have 7 children and when You come in you still got to pay for things . Also the pumpkins are not free. We will not be going back terrible experience.
Good place for strawberry picking and fun time for kids. There is a fun park next to the fields for the kids to play. There were not a lot of strawberries left when we went for the picking. Recommend to go early so that you pick the ripe ones. The strawberries are yummy and fresh.
Phillips Farms is our family's favorite farm in the triangle for strawberries, pumpkins, and Autumn fun. We go there religiously (multiple times for strawberries and at least once for the corn maize and Autumn activities). We've been going there for at least 5 years if not more. The owners are fabulous, the staff is always friendly, the prices are great, and the selection of berries and pumpkins is fantastic. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PHILLIPS FARMS TO ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!
Great time for the family. Only thing the adults pay 12 dollars to walk around and watch their kids play. Any other adults attraction you pay separately guess they got to make money some how
This place is wonderful for a day of family fun. The entry fee seems steep at first but with all the things you can do for free, you quickly realize that the price reasonable. My kids loved riding the "tractors", playing in the corn and the duck races using the hand pumps.
I'm not impressed. While there are numerous things to do, there are few that you do not have to pay for. For example, theres a corn maze, a wagon ride (which you see nothing but corn on), slides, funny bicycles, corn hole, a mud kitchen, a bouncy platform (like a bouncy house but not inclosed), and some various other activies. To feed the animals you pay 25 cents for about a handful of feed, you per pound for any pumpkins you pick, you pay to sling shot or launch any pumkins. So basically you pay $30/kid over 2 (I'm including the $15/adult because I dont go down the slide or play in the mud) and you've paid for a big playground. It is a day pass on Sunday but due to covid it's only per session on sat. So that's $15/kid for 4 hrs of play and that's IF you can wrangle your kids up and get there when the door opens. You will need to walk everywhere (obviously, since it's a farm), so bring your strollers for young ones or be prepared to carry. Overall, most of the activists can be done by the kids without parent involvement, which is nice. Overall, I'd say its overpriced for what you get, but it's all just opinion. There are others around where you get more bang for your buck.
We drive a good 40mins out of way every year to get our Christmas tree. They tend to have the fullest looking trees than any other retail or roadside vender. Staff always friendly and knowledgeable of all the different types of trees they sale. A little pricey but well worth it.
Went during the week and my boys had a blast. People were wearing masks and it was not crowded at all.
We love Phillips Farms! With the exception of a few activities (the pumpkin slingshot, and corn/pumpkin gun) you pay one admission for lots of family fun activities including a corn maze, wagon ride, and a cow train. Our kids had hours of fun, and didn't want to leave. We look forward to coming every year.
It's a nice place for kids to have fun and play time. They enjoy the cow train, strawberry picking and especially the play area.
Not sure what kind of farm has such a hatred of animals but they've made it clear the numerous times they said it on their website pets aren't welcome. Every other corn maze allows dogs and an outing like this you would expect families to bring their dogs. "For health and safety".. people are more of a threat to other people's health than dogs are . And don't call to ask any questions - their website also makes it clear "all answers about the farm are on the website". It's no wonder this place has the reputation it does, the rudeness starts on the website! If you're looking for a family oriented corn maze this isn't the place. These people are just out for your dollar, so don't even waste your time.
Incredibly fun, and entertaining. Creative activities. Reasonable prices.
Visited here for strawberries. Bit pricey. Waiting for next season.
Great enviro, will visit with the kids next time, I think they'll enjoy this place.
Great place, and we always have a great time here but not sure y they decided to sell alcohol this year, took away from the family friendly feeling!
