I required a quick turnaround on some structural design work for a refurbishment project in central Bristol. After a slight miscommunication on required delivery date (probably as much my fault as theirs), the engineer managed to visit site within 2 days of my enquiry and turn around a structural design and building regs calculations within a few days of the site visit. Their fee was also the most reasonable of the 3 engineering firms I approached.

Very competent engineers and genuinely nice people to work with. Suggested some great alternatives to the design that helped save on cost, and stayed on hand to assist with advice etc. throughout the build.

Used a number of times now, have recommended to others, and they have consistently performed highly.

Clegg Associates have now come back to our enquiry and have been very helpful since my original post.

I used Clegg Associates in Trowbridge for a recent extension. I was so impressed with this companies professionalism and the Engineer understood what I wanted, and how to achieve it. They worked closely with my builders, and provided all the documentation required for building regulations. I was very impressed by the services provided by Clegg Associates via Liam Hedge - clear engineering solutions found to the issues with the rapid follow up detailed plans whilst also coming in below the initial cost estimate.

slow, rude and incompetent. sent plans which where almost 30% out on beam length and totally inaccurate masonry support values for padstones. When i complained i was told it was my fault and the vague padstone details where close enough! plans delivered on the last day of 21 day estimate.
