B & W are without doubt a brilliant hgv specialist driving agency in all respects. They are polite pleasant friendly and very approachable. They have been a bit of a lifesaver for me and for that I am eternally grateful to them. They always keep me busy , always seem to have work on. I enjoy working for an agency because you get lots of variety driving different vehicles working for different companies and that's all good experience especially to put on a CV. I can honestly say hand on heart not once have I been messed about when it comes to wages they have always paid me what they owe me every week on time. I was originally the 35th person to register on their books, when they started it was just the two of them in a tiny little office in Melksham and it's great to see that they have now moved to much bigger and nicer offices and also that they now employ several staff, I am amazed and also delighted for them at their success, long may it continue. The Two directors Shane and Colin strike me as two very different characters, two people with very different personalities but I actually think that is what makes the agency so good because obviously they both have their own characteristics, knowledge and expertise. There Knowledge with regards to drivers hours and the working time directive is impressive. And there CPC courses are excellent value with what more could you ask for, lunch thrown in !! Personally I would definitely recommend them, I would advise to go and see them in person, don't worry they will put the kettle on the minute you walk through the door !! Overall they are brilliant I'm very happy and I'm delighted to work for them. If you're looking for HGV driving work in Wiltshire don't look any further than B&W.

I have worked for these guys since they started the Agency. All the office staff show care, compassion and support for their drivers. They strive to meet the drivers needs and get them into work, and if the ideal position cannot be found they will offer alternatives. Highly recommend

Bloody good agency who like to look after their driver's

My experience of this agency was initially good, however after a month or two it all sadly went south. The sole reason I joined this agency was because of all the positive feedback they seem to have, though I've now noticed this feedback aslo consists of the staff, family and friends, and the owner.

Unfortunately my experience quickly turned south, work was consistently be cancelled, then rearranged, then cancelled and rearranged. Then after a couple of weeks the communication completely fell apart and subsequently the work stopped.
I would be messaged to ask when I'm free (they use a text based communication system), I would then respond with the days I'm free, then nothing. Next day, same thing and in the end no work.

This could well just be me that's had this experience, but seeing as how I am so utterly disappointed with how I've been treated, it felt wrong to not warn other potential drivers.

Good luck if you choose to sign on.

Brilliant Service nothing beats B&W Recruitment for work in South West especially M4 corridor between Swindon and Bristol

Been with B&W for a while now, professional recruiters I have always got work when I need it, definitely made to feel like part of a team and not a just a number, can't recommend highly enough.

Terribly pushy on the phone when you contact them with enquiries and should you visit their office then they're even ruder. The owner Colin has such a blase attitude that made it very clear to me that these are not the type of people you want to be working for.

It comes as no surprise that most of the positive reviews for B&W Recruitment are posted by friends of Colin Browne. It says a lot about a company if they feel it's necessary to post fake reviews about themselves and it says even more about the owner of the company.

For those reasons I will not be working for B&W Recruitment and I suggest that you warn other drivers about this company.
