This restaurant, makes you feel like you are in a family dining room. The owners, Bob & Vicky are truly like the Ma & Pa of this restaurant! Erica runs the front and back of the house like a machine! This is one place you definitely want to go and experience the nostalgic atmosphere as well as the phenomenal food!
I use to be a general manager of a restaurant! So I definitely have eyes for a restaurant. So I can positively say, this is the best restaurant I ve experienced in a long time!
A fun fact, they built this restaurant and have been running it for 30+ years! That s a wow factor in my eyes!

I love this little place. The cinnamon rolls are so warm and soft and melt in your mouth. The service good but not great. They do get busy so I understand. I always order a scramble without the gravy because that's just my preference. The breakfast sandwich is huge they pile on the meat. Overall it's a nice place to stop in your way over the hill!

Restaurant inside has many old photos and antiques. The design of restaurant makes you feel at home. Menu has many selections to choose from. Food is very good. Great dining experience. Thanks Buttercup Pantry.

This place was cute, charming, clean and friendly! My food was beyond any expectations I had. I got the Irish Benedict which mere words can't describe how truly delicious it was! I will definitely be back the next time I'm passing through!

Stopped for lunch with my friends on a road trip! Good food there, parking is limited. Worth going here for good bite to eat & great friendly staff! Only 1 1/2 hours away from South Lake Tahoe which was our destination!

This place is nice and cozy. It's not very large overall but there is plenty of space when you're seated. It's decorated with lots of wood and old fashioned decor.

I went hoping to get some waffles. It turns out the only thing on their menu they stop making after 4pm is waffles. This turned out to be for the best though; I ended up trying their cinnamon roll French toast instead. It was quite tasty and I might choose that over waffles next time anyway.

My wife ordered the country fried steak and substituted the dinner bread for a biscuit. THAT was one BIG biscuit. She couldn't finish it all so the toddler and I split it. It had a good flavor and wasn't too dry. The actual country fried steak was a little too tough for my wife so, I finished it as well. It did seem a little tough but not so much that chewing became a chore. It was on the thin side though, which is probably where that toughness came from.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back sometime in the future. We'll probably avoid the country fried steak though.

Everything about this place is excellent. The food, decor,and especially the staff. I had the corn beef sandwich which was delicious and again can t say enough good things about the staff they are so kind. If we drive back this way we will ask for Kori she is the best server we have ever had.

We stop here every time we go to Tahoe...great food and excellent customer service.
