Bushnell Park Carousel Reviews

A very serene and beautiful park in the heart of downtown Hartford. A good place to walk, exercise or just enjoy the day.
An excellent place for photographers.

This was like taking a trip back in time. It is really pretty cool that they still have something like this up and running in the city of Hartford.
It was fairly cheap. The people that were here to go for a ride on the carousel were nice and respectful of each other.
The carousel is on the edge of Bushnell Park. The park itself is pretty.
This is a great thing to do with the little ones (kids or grand children) that won't break the bank.
This is something they will remember for years to come...

Great place to be a relaxed human being. People are walking their dogs, strolling with their children, and smiling at one other at Busnell Park. It is an easy walk from the downtown. I enjoyed my relaxing Saturday afternoon.

Definitely a go to place if you want to make a quick half day trip with family and kids. Also know for arranging various cross cultural events across different origins.

You never get too old to ride the carousel.
Best therapy next to nature.
I'm sad it's closed right now, but hope it reopens this summer of 2021.

The park is a nice walk, with sprawling grass areas, historical monuments, and works of art to admire. However, the garbage is disgusting. The beautiful wild birds wading in sewage and filth made me sick. Hartford needs to clean it up and make it a place to enjoy. Our state capital park...seriously? Connecticut..you can do better.

Beautiful horses with real looking tails. It has the typical benches as well but there are also some horses that are stationary for kids who want to ride a horse but are afraid or nervous of the movement. They have old timey music playing. My daughter loved it for just $1 per ride! We got some popcorn on the way out and chilled in the park. Very nice outing and cheap.

The park itself is very beautiful. I really love the fountain center piece. This park is right near the state capital building which is really a pretty sight. I was there to attend a community event. Throughout the year, events happened in this park. Bushnell Park is a great place to go if you have the need a break from the city life and want to be surrounded by nature.

Well maintained park where you can spend nice time. Great views of Capitol area. Carasoul ride is fun activity for kids. Super cheap. Just a dollar for ride.Fountain was surrounded by roses.
