Burton Manor Review

They treat their patients terribly and their Enrichment Aid is rude and inconsiderate.

Do not send your Family member to this home. My grandmother was robbed of all of her jewellery...a couple items within a month of her being there and then the rest during Covid (at least 2000.00). All they said was that we should have given her costume jewellery and that they are not responsible. I understand that they are not responsible but it s concerning that they seem to have no concerns over the fact that they have thieves as employees. Sickening.

I love Burton and the staff. These amazingly caring people always made my mother feel at home and loved. Mom passed away this year but the staff of Burton Manor cared for her with love and respect until the end.

Dissapointed to read that employers don't care when their staff if rude to family members calling in and when items are stolen from the elderly. I know many of these care facilities have managers and social workers. Clearly they do not care about the elderly residents. Do they get a cut of stolen merchandise?

Very friendly and my complete impression is positive. The people working here really seem to know what they are doing and are very inspiring to me. Thank you for being so dedicated and loving.

My family member reports that the staff are wonderful. Over the past year the quality of the care has decreased. The quality of the food has now decreased significantly and the seniors were getting washed with paper towels instead of wash clothes.

On October 16th 2017 i was on my way home from work just like every working person in this country. As I happen to look on the ground I seen a poor kitten that was hit by a car. No one stopped to help the animal other than myself. The poor innocent animal was still alive as I don t live not to far from this nursing home this poor cat that was on burton manors property was helpless and couldn t walk as it s legs where destroyed I decided to go to into the nursing home I picked up the phone and the lady that was working at 7:00 pm was very cold and rude as I called the humane society waiting for someone to come pick up the animal i asked for a towel or even a blanket the lady on the phone asked me where the animal was I told her on the property. I asked if I can please have a towel to wrap the poor animal up she refused to give me anything! These are people who take care of people s loved ones who are suppose to care for people s lives and you couldn t even give me a towel for a helpless animal who actually died on your BURTON MANORS property. I actually waited a few days because I was so devastated and dumb founded because this women refused to give me a towel until I decided to write this review because I am too a pet owner She should have been running out to the door to give me a towl for that dying animal but honestly you shouldn t even be helping the elderly if you can t even give a piece of cloth which I m sure you have hundreds of in that place! The lady that worked that night should be ashamed of herself there are people out there that care for animals lives as well as humans !!!!!

I hear that their employees steal. Employees don't just do this on their own, this must by the climate and message created in this organization and accepted by management who did nothing to make amends. Where do the items and money go? Is it split between all the employees? Do not recommend.

My sister with Down s syndrome lives there and I am always amazed at the love and affection the staff show. I love visiting and have deep appreciation for the effort and humanity they show. A wonderful place for loved ones.
