Illegal coercion by judge. Looking into reporting judicial misconduct.
Backstory: a woman claimed I was the father of her child. The court set a date and location for a paternity test. Soon after, we were summoned back to court. The judge questioned why the test hadn't been done. I explained that the court scheduled it for a date that hasn't passed yet. He then moved the date up to a time when he and court administrators knew I would not be available as I informed them I would be out of state for mandatory job training in the prior hearing (and I did reiterate that to him again). He didn't care and told me that if I didn't get it done then I would be barred from doing it ever. Obviously since I was out of state there was no real way to do it so when we were summoned back to court afterward (still before the original test date), the judge FORCED me into verbally accepting responsibility of paternity by threatening me with jail time if I didn't do it right then and there.

Two steps above trailer trash is a reasonable description of who works at the county courthouse. I came to court today, it was my opportunity to give a victim impact statement only to learn that the manifest disrespect I have had to endure would continue at the hands of a 50 something portly red head. I needed directions, nothing more and found her attitude and overly inflated sense of entitlement akin to a smack in the face. I would suggest that she and everyone at the courthouse remember who they work for and who they are beholden to for their salaries.

Absolutely horrible to deal with totally arrogant and condescending staff. A pitiful representation of tax dollars ..

Facility is nice. Employees aren't bad. The Burlington County Sheriffs are, however, appalling. While in the building for a mere hour, the behavior of most of them can be described as condescending, rude, unprofessional, power-driven, and downright scary. I can't believe this is the best our county can provide at our courthouse. I will do my best to avoid this place and the Sheriff's Department out in the public. Shame on them.

They didn't go by their own laws. Know your Right. They will try to get over on you. My child never resided in Jersey. Yet his father went to the judge gave them a b.s. story and the judge made a ruling without me present. Even "took jurisdiction over our child who never resided in Jersey and father is homeless. They also sent my son's father the whole package of my child support complaint order from Philly. I'm talking copies of birth certificates, social security cards everything the courts would receive. Judge always refuse to look at my paperwork yet kept asking the father of he had any papers or proof, like mines was no good. It's was many more things that happened

If I could give lower rating I would.
Can't even get the assigned court officer to call back about a well overdue special civil arrest warrant for over $1,600.00 in my judgement. Worst court system ever.

Judges never listen to defendants. In this court you are not innocent until proven guilty. If you are charged you are guilty.

Family Court...
I had the experiance of becoming a victum of demestic abuse by my previous partner and superior court gave me the letter stating so. When we went to court for custody over my Daughter she was primarily living with the mother and the mother would not allow any type of visitation away from her being present because she was trying to suck me back into the dangerous situation I had already left. When I tried to take my child to my home all hell broke loose and my former partner was uncontrollable. Thats why I went for custoday. I went for joint, she went for sole. The jugde disregarded everything I had to say about the facts, good reasonings,pictures, and videos. He didn't even watch the pictures and videos of me taking good care of my daughter. He decided joint custody but I get supervised visits for only an hour a week and she gets our daughter... completly contradictive, uncaring, ignorant, and they just make no sense. We also got to see the judge about 2 hours past the time to to appear. I just want my little girl...
