REALLY NEVER GO! YOU DON'T WANT TO BE FOUND DEAD HERE YET. YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE GOING HERE !!!
We were looking forward to a nice holiday, staying 2 weeks at the Roompot Hoenderloo park.
When we arrived we saw that the house did not look as nice from the outside as in the picture and that the houses are on top of each other. We were almost sitting on the neighbor's couch, so close together. There was no green around the house. That is very annoying and inconvenient, especially if you have dogs. You just have no privacy at all. The grass is dead, of course it has been warm, but how difficult is it to keep up with the park. At the moment it just looks very shabby.
Inside the house:
The house is very small, especially if you pay 1900 for 2 weeks you can expect something. There is no storage space at all, not even a drawer or cupboard.
There was no dishwasher in it, as promised. It is already crab there and then you also have to wash the dishes. What a great vacation. Well then you open the fridge and there are all flies in it. Then the first thing you can do is make the refrigerator. Then it turned out that the freezer could not be opened, because there was too much ice. There is only one wardrobe for 6 people and that's just a bookcase.
The downstairs bathroom is awful. There is a small bathroom with the toilet directly in it. There is no storage option. You can not store your belongings anywhere. So the water from the shower gets on your belongings. It's a super awkward shower and you always have to dry the floor yourself. In the end, the fuses were blown and the lights went out, hot water was no longer possible, etc. 1 light did not work uberhaubt. We ended up having 2 fridges in the room, while the room is already small. 1 did NOT. There was a lot more wrong such as: The hygiene, etc.
It is also too stuffy because of it. Slanted roof.
Roompot's service is very bad. You have to find out with the owner of the park. He does not want to give money back, even though He is also employed. In the end he promised to return the entire amount. Later he only transfers half. We would only get the full amount back if we left the building immediately. So we pack quickly. In the meantime we also had to arrange another accommodation. Because it is not nice to go back unexpectedly with 2 young children. It is really awful that this happens to you on vacation. So we were packing and then that man also sends people to us for that house several times, also an electrician. While we still had the right to stay there for a while to pack. This was even allowed until 17:00. So those people got in our way a lot. They touched our things, turned off the fridge to keep cold, etc. REALLY drama.
In the end not got the full amount back, so the man of this park is also a liar. He's not rid of us yet. He ensures that we cannot even contact him and the people from Roompot customer service and the reception cannot do anything, because he owns Mr. Pearl.
In any case, we do not accept this. We have no desire to have any further contact with this bad man.
Everything is black and white. When and how much he would transfer. So we have proof. We also have the name of the owner. So we are still working on it.
TIP: Never go to Roompot if you want to recover a bit from working for a year. Certainly not to this park. It's nothing here, though.
LANDAL IS ALWAYS JUST MUCH BETTER. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE NOW AND HAVE IT FOR OUR SENSE. ROOMPOT DID ONLY COST EXTRA MONEY, TIME AND WORK.
PS: We understand from the cleaner that there are more complaints and that the refrigerators are not working properly and are old. Maybe an idea to do something about this? Or does that also cost too much money?
This man is only concerned with bringing in money. He also thinks himself very important, but everything is done for him.
