So far, so good! I have been working with Kendra Barile, Sales Executive to get our loan underwritten and closed. There was a bit of a learning curve since it was my first deal with them as a lender. I picked them due to their rates and, most importantly the points, or lack of points, they charged. it took a bit to close due to permit delays, but we got the transaction closed and now i am working with Callie Bayer. She knows her stuff and I have now completed two very painless draws.

I highly recommend them, and I am looking forward to my next deal with them.

Great place to work, amazing culture!
As a loan officer I have exceptional freedom and powerful tools at my disposal. More importantly, I have a wide variety of flexible and competitive products that I can offer allowing me to meet my customer's needs. Our team's solution oriented, supportive atmosphere coupled with technology driven customer solutions makes for a great customer experience as we service all of our own loans too.

At this point I have gone through a handful of draws on a project that has been anything but straightforward and Callie Bayer has made the process so much easier. The project has PACE financing, stored materials, Covid supply chain challenges, etc and she has gone above and beyond to make the draw process as smooth as possible.

I had a very bad experience with Builders Capital. Their advertisement on their website was far from reality. Within 6 weeks time they changed their percentage from 7% to 10%, and their closing costs went up from $17,000 to $34,000. With a days notice they moved the closing date back by 2 weeks with an explanation that they recently got a new employee. In the end, I received a rejection letter because I didn t have enough experience in the field of work . Now I have to start all over again, get a new appraisal that will take 4-6 weeks time. I do not recommend working with these guys.

Great team, great place to work. The company genuinely focuses on being a true asset to its customers.

Our Company has been with Builders Capital for the past 2+ years. In that time we have worked with four different Transaction Coordinators. While all have been excellent, our current Coordinator, Tera Dray, is exceptional. She is truly an advocate for us. We now have seven different loans totaling in excess of $8,500,000 in loan commitments. The entire Builders Capital organization makes us appreciate this relationship every day!

EDIT: The response I received back from the CEO was very thoughtful and apologetic. I have responded in hopes to work thru the troubles we faced in our first deal to hopefully do business with Builders Capital on an upcoming deal. My review moved from 1 to 3 stars because of the thoughtful and caring response and the optimism for future business together. I will update accordingly.

I was hopeful for a great business relationship with builders capital. However, after being reassured and promised time and time again that there was no way our funding deal would be denied, builders capital denied our funding THE DAY OF CLOSING.

We had been working together for almost six weeks to find this deal and I was repeatedly told that they would definitely fund it. They had all of the information needed within the first week of working together (including credit pulls) and they drug out the process until THE DAY OF CLOSING to finally deny our funding.

I would not recommend working with them unless you re a fan of having the rug pulled out from under you at the 11th hour, ultimately costing your company hundreds of thousands in profits .

Our first loan on our project with Builders Capital. Bryan and Renee were awesome! They were very helpful and knowledgeable which made the whole process go very smooth. Renee was very prompt in answering all our questions. Our first draw was a success and getting ready for our second draw. Builders Capital and their team are exceptional.

Just completed our first draw at Builders Capital. I had a great experience working with Corrie Morgan. The process went so smooth and she was super helpful and really took the time to assist me. Looking forward to working through this project with her.
