Buffie & Co. Salon Spa Review

Absolutely blown away by my first appointment with Elyssa. I had a bad experience with my previous salon, Elyssa put me at ease straight away, asking relevant questions at the start and offering useful advice throughout the appointment. She has such a lovely, warm personality along with a magnificent talent. The salon surroundings are fabulous with an excellent range of the best hair products. Very pleased with my haircut and overall experience and highly recommend this salon and Elyssa in particular. Thank you and see you again soon!

Two weeks ago I had my older son to go the for a appointment for his hair,that might sound normal right.But they didn t follow the directions that he gave them.They ACCIDENTALLY died his hair PURPLE,and finally. They ACCIDENTALLY CUT his ear.

The kind of vibe that you can get at this place is unlike any other place. It is a pleasant, rich kind of feeling place where you can get all sorts of things done to you.

Crystal is amazing. She gave me a shellac manicure but they look like gel nails! She gave me many options to choose from and was very easy going!

Best haircut experience i've ever had! I had the pleasure of having elyssa as my stylist and i cant say enough great things about her :) she was very knowledgeable, fun and very friendly you can tell she loves what she does. Ive been dealing with thinning/balding for sometime now and she gave very good useful tips to help grow it back. I would definitely recommend her! I cant wait for my next appointment with her :)

I have been going to see Crystal for about 6 months or so and feel like I've found a lifetime friend ! She does amazing work and always has me feeling great when I leave . It's become a private joke between my husband and I that when I have an app with Crystal I not only get my nails done but also geta therapy session ! Lol

Just a shout out for the staff at Buffie's, especially Staci and Kristina who did a fantastic job at making me look sharp again. I called in and they were able to accommodate me immediately. Everyone was friendly when I walked in and you can see that this is definitely not your typical salon. It It is a small business that knows what customer service is about. If you are in the area, you should check out Buffie and her team for sure!!

I ve just started going to Buffie & Co for my hair and I m so happy with my stylist, Elyssa. She was able to interpret what I wanted and gave me suggestions on what would work for my skin tone and face shape. She walked me through every step of the way and made me feel safe and confident in my hair style. If you every need to get your hair done I would definitely suggest going to see Elyssa!!!!

Kristine Carino is a wonderful hairdresser. She may be one of the best to cut short hair. Not only are the cuts cute for the short term she knows and can plan for a great cut to grow out. She is also the only person I trust to colour my hair, as a master in various techniques I have loved every shade of the rainbow. If you are looking for someone with skill and a lot of awesome personality who is not afraid to try something new, she is highly recommended. Also, easily have had some of the best updos from her! Stand out and invest in your hair from Kris!

Was having a horrible hair day. Needed a new style. Elyssa made my hair look amazing! So happy with my new look. She explained everything that she could do and what would work. So happy to have her as my stylist!

Buffie and Co. is an awesome hair salon in Winnipeg's Rivergrove area. Beyond hairstyling for men and women they are a full service beauty salon.

I am new to the city and this was my first haircut in 5 years by someone else. I was hoping to find a hair salon in Winnipeg through a recommendation. I met Buffie for other reasons and could tell she cared about her business. In addition, all of the staff are friendly.

I have been going to Buffie's for a long time for my shellac manicures. Crystal does an amazing job! My nails stay heathly and strong.

I had colouring at a different salon and ended up with an actual rainbow of colours in my hair. I went into Buffie and Co today to fix the problem and Buffie did an amazing job and was able to fix it to what I wanted! I love the colour! I would definitely recommend Buffie and the salon and and I will go again!

I just had my haircut today with Christine... she just chopped off my hair even I told her that I want her to cut only an inch and just fix my layers.... she ruined my hair..my appointment was at 11 am n she started doing my haircut right away when I reached there n I was at home by 11:35 n I live in Inkster area n you can imagine how much time she had spent on me.... m crying right now after seeing my hair..she did not even washed my hair before doing a haircut n did not give a damn to brush n style my hair after the haircut...following the haircut she just sprayed my hair with some curl spray n took me to the counter to pay.. I had my first haircut at this salon by Elyssa she even style my hair n told me that styling is free...she did a great job n gave me a haircut I wanted even though I wasn't happy with the color she did but the haircut was awesome... But at this time Christine just chopped off my hair from behind n did not did anything with the hair at front...u can see in the pictures that both sides of hair at front aren't even equal n I cannot see any layers in my hair.. she just made my hair thin by just chopping off a bunch of hair from behind...even I could do such haircut at home by myself.. so what's the purpose of going to a professional n getting RIPPED OFF .NEVER GOING BACK..FED UP NOW. even CANCELLING my Hair TOUCH UP Appointment with them.

First haircut with Elyssa was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. It is hard to find someone who knows how to properly cut really thick, wavy hair.

Buffie & Co. is the only salon I will go to. Cuts, colours, manicures, pedicures, and a host of other services are available. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I feel like I'm an important part of the family when I'm there. Services are always preceded with a consultation so that you are sure you are getting what you want and the stylist knows that. I get regular manicures and pedicures and I would never go anywhere else!

I followed Kristine Sterling-Carino to Buffie's because she is amazing. I always get what I want and more! She always finds the time to fit me in and make me happy! Buffie's is a great salon because all the staff are so friendly and it's such a positive atmosphere. The team all seem to be great friends which makes the environment so inviting....a great place to hang out whilst getting a great do!

We have been seeing Crystal for many many years and I will continue to. Her along with all the staff are super friendly and just plain awesome. We come there for the Facials and buy our products there. Crystal has helped us and we are blessed to have found her. We will continue for many many more years to come.

Buffie is far and above anyone who has ever done my hair in the past. Her cuts, styling and colour are always amazing! And easy for me to maintain between appointments. I've been going to Buffie for about 2 years and every single time I've come out extremely happy.
The atmosphere in the Salon is very upbeat, everyone is so friendly and positive. I just love going there, totally my treat day. I have an hour drive from home to the Salon, it is definitely worth the trip!

It was a nice looking place and friendly. I booked my hair appointment super last minute with Kristina. I was chopping off a significant amount of hair and she suggested that I get layers in my hair. I agreed and regretted it as they were very choppy and unorganized/uneven layers. I thought it was just me not being used to layers in my hair, but many of my friends/family took a look afterwards but no one could make sense of how the layers were made. I went back a few days later to have them evened out. Kristina willingly chopped at my hair again but actually made them worse. It took a couple haircuts (with another stylist at another salon) before my hair grew out enough to fix the choppy layers.

It's always a great experience at Buffie & Co. Staci did a wonder job on my Mani-pedi. I'm never disappointed.

I LOVE this salon and everything about it. I always leave in love with my hair and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're among friends. Even after moving to the south side of the city I'll gladly make the trip because I know I always leave happy!

I've been seeing Char at Buffie and Co for 12 years. All the girls there are super friendly and it's just a relaxing atmosphere. Wouldn't ever think of going anywhere else

I have been going to Charmaine for 3 years now. She is amazing. Always listens and does what you ask for. All the staff is funny and friendly. Great atmosphere. Recently I brought in a picture and honestly Charmaine replicated it EXACTLY!!!!! Cut and colour is always on Point!!!! Wish I could post a picture but doesn t seem to be working. :(.

I got bad hair cut yesterday. Hairdresser didn't follow my instructions.
To fix this I turned to Samantha from VAIN HAIR STUDIO, very professional.

Went to Buffie &Co on the advice of a friend. Loved it!!! Bright and airy salon, I had Buffie and she cut my hair exactly as I wanted. Used thw online booking tool, which is a great tool.
Highly recommend this salon, will for be back!!

I have been seeing Kristine for years, she is the only person I trust with my hair. She always listens to what I'm asking for and understands the kind of cut and look I'm wanting to achieve. Her cuts are easy to maintain, now that I'm a new mom she makes sure it's easy to style. She's precise and has a gentle touch. Her colours are great! I love that she's always learning and staying up to date on techniques.
She's also just an awesome person and it's fun to visit while in her chair. Highly recommended!

Kristine C has been my stylist for a couple of years now and I have never been happier! She has tremendous talent and knowledge of color! She understands my personality to always nail what I am looking for, even when I can't describe it in words! I have gone to Buffie since I have had hair to cut and will NEVER again see anyone else. Even when living out of province, I am always sure to go see Buffie (or Char in her absence) when I need anything done, big or small.

Not only are Buffie and her coworkers INCREDIBLY skilled and experienced at what they do, but they are passionate and always learning new developments in order to meet the needs of and to please all clients. And just when you think a salon cannot get any better you meet these women and realize they are also genuinely good humans!! Amazing, warm, friendly women who are an absolute pleasure to chat with. Ugh I can go on forever. If you haven t been to Buffie & Co. before, then just go - then you ll get it :).

Elyssa is no longer there...GGGRRR...They are still making appointments for her, though...as I asked for an appointment with her, they booked it, but it seemed weird I'd get in so soon with such a well-liked hairdresser......so I asked just to make sure...now this is for Elyssa, right??? NO... What the???

Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. A men's haircut costs around 30$ with tip, and is definitely worth it. Buffie has been cutting my hair for years and always does a great job!
