Buffet Fu Lam Review

A very complete Asian-Canadian buffet. Sushi, salads, soups, most traditional Asian basics, plus excellent variety of seafood and meat choices. Some things for everyone. Fully licensed.

Strange variety of foods. Chinese, Japanese and Italian. Minimum variety of each. Food was tasty but I found it expensive at $22.49 plus tax and tip.

The best Chinese buffet in all of greater Montreal. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

I don't normally like buffets but this is the best of them. At dinner they have selections of shrimp which is great and the sliced salmon sushi is surprisingly very good.

Horrible service they were racist to my friend who was black. She clearly wanted a booth and the lady did not care and told her she can t do anything about that. Laughed and said she had other customers to serve. These people are racist, they only do good for Asians. This restaurant is a disgrace! They should retrain their staffs since it seems they lack respect and professionalism. We are in 2018 people, how is it you do not have a card reader? Clearly they do but it s only reserve for ASIAN people. Also, the food tasted like they cooked it last weekend and heated it up for today. Not impressed at all, they need to do better next time or in my case NO TIME as I will not be coming back to this disgraceful, pathetic, poorly place known to be a restaurant.

We went for a company lunch!! It is more food options then I expected. They have fried food, noodle, rice. Sweet and sour soup is great!! Also sushi, salad bar etc... They have black pepper fried calms in cantanoese style, so good. The calms doesn't over cooked and very flavourful. Lunch includes tax and tip $17.25!!! Reasonable price!!! I think need to ask the server more about the drink. We have 10ppl there, so maybe we paid a little bit more.

Dinners are better than lunches though. Overall, a great place!

This one is one in which you might wanna be careful of the food. The staff at least isn't too bad from what I experienced.

Food is alright, some of them is a bit dry, especially their desserts!!! And it took a good 20 minutes after I was done eating before anyone came for me to pay... I had to ask 3 time before someone would come with the bill

Wide range of food dishes for veg and non vegetarian.

Very nice experience, place was crowded which is always good news for a buffet. Fast service for clearing the table or the remains of our meals, and the dumplings were surprisingly good, as was the sushi. The variety was a bit lacking but that was to be expected. Further from our place than the Laval one, but definitely worth the drive!

Need a buffet...fu lam has a good choice ...alone or more lots of tables

This is a typical American style Chinese buffet. Nothing spectacular here, at $22.50 per person you can eat all you can eat, but is that really what you need. The food is hot and there is plenty of it, and a good assortment of things to eat. The wine list has a few choices at $15.00 per bottle and they are not bad. So if you are looking to stretch your pant size, drop in and have a couple of plates full. The place seems clean considering the volume of people passing through, It's busy.

All you can eat. Godd food, clean, nice staff, this is the best Fu Lam visited. Although it seems to me that the price rose too much lately; compared to 2006 is almost double, but the life-price is not even close.

We went for dinner, the food selection was the exact same as lunch that they had a month ago. Of course we paid more just because it's dinner, the food is average , the sushi is dry.

Friendly staff. They serve you with a smile. Food was great.

We love it here. It is what it is. An all you can eat buffet. Some things are super, and other things dry out. But there is so much selection that you shouldn't complain. Wait staff is a little pushy in getting their 18% tip. In the end it's up to you to decide any way, so who cares?

I tried the restaurant because it is big and pretty as a place but the food is poor and not very hot, even cold. Very disappointed with the variety of dishes for a buffet. October 2015.

Do not start again.

The food is ok, nothing more. Nothing that makes us want to go back. We are not suchis eaters, so we have no comments on these. Very good service.

Love this place! The all you can eat sushi is amazing!

Walking in, the place smelled like a dirty mop. The food tasted stale, and the selection was poor. Our server was good however, and was well attentive. I would give a star for her except she asked about the tip when we didn't put it on the credit card (as I was leaving a cash tip). Then she was a bit too eager to grab it when I did leave it on the table. Kinda put me off. Not a good experience.

The walls are full of dust and everything looks dirty. A child vomited next to my table and we refused to change places .. terrible service. I do not recommend anyone !!

Surprisingly good food, considering bus loads of tourists are taken here. Lots of items, including seafood and sushi. $20/person is good price.

It caters to just Chinese / Asian menu. The food quality is not worth spending your moolah. Their is no provision for ordering a la carte dinner or lunch but just the buffet.

Poor choices...worse buffet i have ever been to...and they have the nerve to charge 22.56 per person...never again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Plus its very dirty inside.

We had take away. The food was not fresh. It tasted like it was reheated. Quite rubbery. Maybe in the restaurant the food is better?

Not a lot of various choices. Restrooms not cleaned enough.
