Ive stayed here and ive eaten here many time awesome place and atmosphere
This place is a great rundown dive spot that serves up excellent food and cold drinks. I can't say enough about the food and the wings are next level stuff. Fun place and a good mixed crowd. Never disappointing and right in the center of an up and coming revitalization of downtown Bonita Springs. Check this spot out. If you are looking for more great spots check out my other reviews.
Not much to look at from the outside, but once you go.... you know! There isn't anything fancy inside and it's full of memorabilia clutter. So much so, you will have a hard time finding the bathrooms... Let's face it! everyone comes here for the food, not the decor. The food is what you except a good sports bar to be! Wings are good, chicken fingers are good... the sauces are really good! Just don't forget to add Garlic to the sauce!
Al Chip and JC and team never fail to deliver. 25 years I just tried their garlic hot wings...amazing! Never miss a Fins Bills game here!
Super cool location. From the first impression, it looks a bit ..... "different" ... I lack the right words for it. But who still dares, even if it drips when it rains in the hall, will not be disappointed.
My advice: Go there when live music is played. Country and rock dominate.
Eat like, ok but really in a sports bar.
Love the atmosphere. Love the wings. Customer service could be better but it's not the worst
We went for lunch during a work day.
We sat and got awful service.
My husband is Mexican American and I'm obviously not. We encounter poor service at establishments often because of this unfortunately. We were given our food and our one drink and our server disappeared on us.
We looked around for 20 minutes trying to get drink refills and our check so we could go back to work only to again not find our server but to notice we were getting dirty looks from behind the bar. Finally another server brings us a box and runs off before I can even ask for a drink to go as I didn't even have a full drink to enjoy with my meal. Needless to say we will not be back. I'm sad to say that because the food is good but we felt we were discriminated against because we are a interracial couple and the Spanish workers there apparently did not appreciate this fact.
Best wings in the country. A real old Florida place. Funky, great service and good food. The fish and chips are among the best around and all prices are fair.
Awesome wings in a consummate dive bar atmosphere. I would be a regular if I lived in the area.
Food is good n friendly atmosphere. A local place. A bit pricey when we ordered hamburgers. Build your own burgers charged for cheese, onions n mushrooms separate. Two burgers, fries, ice tea n one beer came almost $40.00
If you are a wing connoisseur, don't be fooled by the exterior. Only place in the city to get REAL Buffalo wings.
Grouper Sandwich was outstanding!!!
We like it beer battered, it was served hot
and crisp!!
Love coming back every year!!
Very little room to move. It is uncomfortable but very good quality staff
They will only fully cook your chicken wings if they are not busy otherwise the wings are barely cooked and spongy
Great chicken wing restaurant. Great atmosphere it has been they forever at least more than the 25years I've lived here. And it was here long before i was
This is my favorite sit-n-go restaurant I usually know what I want and pretty much get the same thing, most of the food on the menu is really good. The staff is friendly, I always never have to wait to be seated brunch/dinner.
Best wings hands down. Entertainment and service worth the wait.
Very good as it's been for the entirety of my life in Bonita Springs... 20+ years.
The food and service was good. We had the enchiladas and fish n chips. Its a kitschy place decor wise, with a bar in the middle of the dining areas. Appears to be a good place to watch a game. Id come back here.
We've been to Buffalo Chips 4 times and have never been disappointed. Everything I have ever tried has been delicious and the service has always been top notch. To top it all off? Very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be going back.
This place sucks so bad. My kids food is hard the wings are a far cry from the best in the world..theyre tiny and the menu says they're huge.Maybe the worst I've ever eaten
Good food, good drinks. The food and drink specials are especially attractive. We went on taco night and got cheap but delicious food and beer pitchers. Cool little dive, if that's what you like.
If you don't know about this legendary place- politely return to the rock that you live under. There is a reason for the hype, the legend is true!!! Best wings and sauces on the planet. Brilliant bbq, and even some southern comfort food. And beer- all modestly priced. If you haven't been, you are missing out. Highly recommended to anyone that asks
Friday night Fish Fry is always a crowd pleaser! Waitresses are prompt & food is served quickly. Beer is cold at this eclectic bar/restuarant.!
Love the pulled pork sandwiches !!!
W-pickles ,cole slaw ,& a 'hand full of Buffalo Chips'(cut-fried potatoes/fries).
I took my parents here for lunch and the food was excellent. I had the Buffalo chicken Irish nachos, mom had the fish tacos and dad had the roast beef sandwich. All were worth going back for! Another table had chicken wings that smelled fantastic and ribs that looked great too. I will definitely be returning soon with friends.
Great food, not so good service. Some of the best wings
This is like an authentic Buffalo neighborhood bar. The beef on weck was good but not perfect-- they need to work on the kimmelweck roll. Otherwise a good experience.
Home away from home
tan a clause
This place is the best restaurant around. I use to have a great time! Karaoke was a blast!
Great home style place a tradition in bonita!! Get their big onion!! Yummy!!
Bottom line: If you're a Wing-Snob, you owe it to yourself to put this on your bucket list.
It's definitely 5-star (in class). This much is indisputable.
Buffalo Chips offers up an exceptionally competitive array of wing coating flavors that go head-to-head with the likes of deep-pocketed Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm not sure whether there even is a BW3 anywhere near here, but this establishment need not concern itself.
Buffalo Chips was here before any national wing chain even considered to consider itself a consideration.
It's true that the "Death" sauce isn't really all that hot (for those that truly expect "HOT"), but it certainly is flavorful and offers enough heat (I suspect) to give a good percentage of patrons that "special feeling" of having "rung the bell" of hotness.
I tell all my friends that this is THE best wing joint on the planet. It's not where I go for the hottest/most flavorful wings (think Dead Parrot Wings @ the Lazy Flamingo on Sanibel, or even the hottest at Beef O'Brady's) but it's definitely where I go for the perfectly crispy-fried and most innovatively flavored/coated wings.
When I'm within 20 miles of Buffalo Chips - (i.e., when I'm in Naples), you can bet I'll be headed up to this iconic establishment.
The decor is personalized, along with what I suspect are contributions from patrons along the years (license plates, for example).
Have been a fan of Buffalo Chips for years. It's the first place I name when someone is looking for wings. The service is always great, with servers that have been cheerful, helpful, and quick to notice if I look like I need something. The only time I wouldn't go is during football season, when, if the Bills are playing, there is no room for a non-Buffalo-Bills fan.
My husband found this restaurant on the net and we decided to give it a try. Are we glad we did. We've been back twice in 2 weeks! Their buffalo sandwiches are great!
Giving the food 5 starts not the service. Get better servers. Preferably not rude.
The wings here are delicious and it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Worth it if you find it.
Very Disappointed This Time
My Friend & I Have Been Going There For 30 Years.
Wings Are Way Too Pricey & Definitely Smaller Now
Was Not Impressed & May Not Return.
Foods okay, not good enough to offset the garbage service. Deff wont be coming back.
Great place and close to us. Just stop in grab something to eat & a beer.
Best wings in town, great service and cold cold beer! Love it been going here for 23 years and never had a bad meal. Great place to catch any game
I sat at the bar......Nice place......good food.....good service...
Came back to BChips on January 2 sat in a booth.....wanted chicken wings well done, was told I couldn't have them well done because the kitchen was too busy.....I cancelled my order of wings
I ordered fried haddock dinner.... fish was tasty, priced right...... tartar sauce was horrible....had to make my own out of mayo and relish
Note...My waitress was training a new employee.....wow someone should have trained her......staff seemed mored interested in socializing with each other than waiting on customers..... exception was the Hostess....and waitress Sadie...they worked at making people happy
My husband was apprehensive because of the parking lot being surrounded by a motel and trailers. But the food was delicious and service was great! We came for the wings and were not disappointed. The best sauces are zippy Cajun (which is a little spicy and a little sweet and a little tangy) and Oriental adding garlic. We also had the Reuben sandwich that was cooked to perfection with thick slices of corned beef ( which surprised me... Was expecting the shredded like usual). Hubby had the creamy chicken and rice soup, loved it. Service was constant and friendly and helpful.
The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The smoked fish dip is not Smokey as one would expect. The brisket was overcooked and bitter and was brown all the way thru. Not sure how old it was... The Cole slaw is bland also.
What a great place to unwind! I absolutely loved the laid back atmosphere. Will definitely go back again!
Nice local eatery. Not a huge selection, but everything I've tried has been great. Pleasant staff, too.
Buffalo Chips can't be rated as just a restaurant - it's an Institution! I remember that place from the 1980s when I first came to Bonita Springs to visit family! It's not fancy but Good! So are the prices. Located in Old Bonita, the area is being reno'd but BC is classic old Florida. If you,'re hungry- BC will have it. Wings and brew are their signature but try their ribs and burgers. My wife even loved their salad with chicken, a lot of meat! Plus their fries make Mac D's cringe. If you like fancy try the Ritz Carlton. If you want good food and an interesting place- go to BC!
My boyfriend and I have been to this location once before and it was awesome! Awesome service and great food. But tonite... oh boy... Horrible service, horrible food. The server messed up my boyfriends wrap and didn t even offer to take it off the bill! Didn t offer a single thing. Just argued and told him that s how it s supoosed to look and taste. Terribly disappointed
Buffalo chips in Bonita is awesome. Friendly customer service good food you have to try the fireballs.
Good food , good service ! A little loud , lot of people in small area. From Ohio , always stop there !
Buffalo chips is a great local place here in Bonita the wings are always great
A local hang out. Nice place for wings and a cold beer. Atmosphere is nice .
I have always had good service.
Best attraction of Bonita Springs. Very cool interior, is a family run homemade food restaurant.
I came here with my family last year and I remember having a bad experience when it came time to pay. I remembered that something showed one price on the menu but the bill showed another price and when brought to the waitresses attention, she had said that was the price and I just shrugged it off and said whatever. Well, we returned yesterday for lunch and I thought I would give it a second shot. The bill was wrong again. We all ordered side salads, which specifies on the menu that you can ADD ON a side salad to ANY ENTREE for an upcharge of $1.95. (When ordering, the waitress said there would be an upcharge and my Mother said out loud, yes, the $1.95, that is fine. The waitress did not say anything then). It does not specify anywhere on their menu in the restaurant or online that it is only for dinner entree's, so right there is false advertisement. We all got charged $4 for our side salads. Then a child's grilled cheese was ordered which is $2 and we were charged for an "upscale grilled cheese" which was almost $8. We asked for extra dressing for our salads when we ordered and didn't get them, so when our salads were brought to us we asked again and had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get the extra dressing. Everybody was waiting to finish their salads until we were able to get the dressing. Oh, and they don't offer regular tarter sauce for their fish entree's. They have a special made tarter sauce and it was not good. After receiving the bill, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes to address the issues on the bill to our waitress. She did correct the grilled cheese but we still were charged $4 for each salad rather than the $1.95 add on that the menu listed. Poor service from the waitress. We rarely saw her unless flagged down.
LOVE this place!!! Our FL fav! We also stay at the adjoined "Ranch House" Hotel. Prices cant be beat & the rooms are too cute.
For such a busy place the service was fast and friendly. Food was excellent and done just right.. I wish we were closer to make it a regular stop
Excellent wings, delicious curly fries, and even better service! What a treat! The 80's music was just icing on the cake.
