Buenavista Care Center Review

My mom is there for a short stay and every time I call . Someone in the staff tells me the phone won't reach and they will leave a message for her to call me back . We'll it's the 3d day I haven't heard from her . I'm not going to judge the place by actions of a one person because I know they have a lot of other people to care for at the same time. They really need to do something about their phone issues . Other then that I heard the place is great .

My brother is there for a diabetic sore infection, the bandage are supposed to be changed 3 times a day and so far they only charged the bandage once in the 9 days that he been there, the worst thing I saw was the maintenance man is giving medical advice.....
The one thing I noticed about the other reviews is that it s seems to be very true that all they. Care about is the all mighty buck, my brother has been asleep for 3 days and it s obvious that s he s suffering from dehydration and complaining about it doesn t seem to do any good...

First night move my dad to there, he made a human waste mess, Elsa and Jose are very helpful clean it up, ladies behind counter we're very nice too, with very pleasant attitude, very good atmosphere so far.

This is a great place! The staff are kind and caring and always with a smile. The patients are happy and well taken care of. Amazing atmosphere.

Buena Vista Care Center in Anaheim is a terrible facility. The incompetence displayed on a daily basis is astounding. My dad has been a resident for 3 1/2 months. They refuse to answer call button, denying him use of the restroom nearly an hour. They refuse to hydrate him mouth. They won't make appointments. They don't know his correct name or address.
But, they are excellent in making excuses for their total lack of communication and the complete inadequate process that they care for loved ones. SHAME ON YOU!!!

This is a money hungry death trap i cant believe the things that have gone down here if u love your family dont take them here plz

Best nursing and rehab staff in Anaheim. I recommend them if you need top notch care and rehab service.

I'm not happy with that place, my Pope was there because he had urine and kidney infection, he's diabetic,
He did not have medical attention until after 6 days it was a Dr to see him and that because I was pressing them so that my Pope had medical attention, the horrible food was not suitable for a diabetic, and the room where he was shared with 3 more patients and they told me that they were going to move him to another room and they never did, the nurses and assistants very well very attentive of them I have no complaint only from the administration
My recommendation is that if they have a patient there do not leave them alone visit them every day to make sure they are well taken care of, thank God my Pope left that place

I was just informed from my brother, who is there to rehab from a recent surgery and this place is HORRIBLE! He has wet himself twice already because the staff will not respond to his calls. They are ignoring him completely. We are getting attorneys involved to get him moved from this place. Unfortunately, he is there because of his insurance company felt this was the best place for him. If yo have loved ones there that are not able to communicate truly what is going on, I would make sure to make as many surprise visits as possible. Get your family out of there!

Loved the staff! Loved the food! And the rehab is great! Its almost like a fancy hotel and a hospital had a baby. It's the perfect mix of hospitality and healthcare.

This place is a money milking death trap. They keep their patients barely alive just long enough to get every last penny they can from the insurance company. I would not recommend this place to anyone I care about.

Great facility! If you need your family member to get back on their feet fast the nursing team and rehab team will help them get there.

Beautiful clean facility and friendly staff. Everyone is super helpful. I'm so glad there is a facility like this one in this area. It's a true gem.

I m still here at the present time. Covid 19 hit us hard yesterday. 11 patients are sick and 3 employees in one day. This facility is not equipped with a Covid-19 section. I was in a room with one so I had to fight with management just to get my room changed. I m not the only one...... GET YOUR LOVED ONES PUT OF HERE!!!! The Administrator didn t plan ahead to to made changes for the sick. Even deaths didn t get her to protect the patients.

Maria Alverez is an angel, as is Christine and her aunt. Darryl, Dollar and Andy are very helpful as well. They have huge hearts and care for people who poop their pants. This is tough work and I believe they are amazing people. Keep up the outstanding work, you have hearts of gold!

I do believe administration should work on making the phone system better, when I call to my mothers room the phone magically disconnects or I have to call ten times in a row before the phone is answered. Getting people to call back or email back is difficult as well.

My mom is there while in rehab from back surgery . Like any other places where you are at someone else care, you have to advocate for yourself, my mom is aware enough that she's always asking for her needs to be met ,,the place is clean, smells good, food is okay. Nice staff but, like I said be alert an advocate, ask questions all the time, make sure the staff knows that you are always watching. Let them know you care for your love one.

My father just got on friday ,This is the worst place u can ever put a loved one .They do not care about them my dad can barley walk ,lost his hearing and 95 % of his eye sight .they only change them four to five tomes in 24 hrs .They do not look in on you .They give my Dad a call button knowing he cannot see most of the time it was behind him.They never gave him water to drink again he cannot get up or see i was there everyday lunch and dinner to feed him and help him drink so i knew he woul make it through the night .I fought with them about something everyday i even made friends in there and they told me the same things.They screw arould more then they work.But the one thing i can say is the speech therapist is amazing.so please before u put your loved one in there check on them often .Someone that cares about all families.
