BEWARE - if you re moving, the majority of these budget van line companies are third party companies that act as the middle man. They don t have actual moving trucks. Please do your research so you don t lose thousands of dollars. If it sounds too good to be true, you know it won t end well. These people are salespeople and they will try to be your best friend but don t be fooled. Check Yelp. If they ask for any cash wires/deposits, that is a tell sign that something is not right. Good luck to you all.

Scam! Do not do business with them. They connect you to 3rd party brokers. Don t sign or pay anything up front! After my 40 minute phone call I became aware of the fraudulent business tactics. Did my research on Government sites and was so happy I got off the phone. They will try to get you to sign and give a deposit to hold your estimate. Don t do it! Research and read!!

Don t waste your time. They are beyond unprofessional, extremely rude, and harassed me as soon as I got off the phone. They gave me a quote for $3600 when if I bought a uhaul it would be $2000. I said no thanks and hung up and they texted me saying Don t ever call my company again. And when I replied with Trust me I won t. And I ll be leaving a wonderful review they responded In that review make sure you add in that you hung up on your representative rudely when he was trying to assist you all because the price was more expensive than uhaul. I can not believe any company can even stay in business being so rude and inconsiderate to people who put in the time an effort to go through their entire process of getting a quote. I am completely in awe and disgusted with this company. Do NOT waste your time or money on them. When they put right in their ads don t overpay and come back with those prices it s absolutely ridiculous.

We scheduled with Senior Relocation Specialist Dennis Torres and had the worst experience ever. We were supposed to move some things from MN to RI. We chose the "window" option to save $1,000. That meant that between April 27th-30th, the movers could arrive, but that they would call 2 days in advance. The 27th arrived an no calls. We contacted Dennis and he ignored us. Why? Because the movers they scheduled weren't coming. So we had to scramble to find a different moving company - which was much more costly than having found out earlier. I received the bad news from someone else in this company because Dennis would not tell us himself. It takes a really bad or really good experience to make someone put in the effort to leave a review. This was one of those times. Please save yourself the trouble, headaches, and annoyance and never use Budget Van Lines. I will tell every stranger, family member, friend, acquaintance, etc. not to use Budget Van Lines. I hope this helps you with your moving decision! STAY AWAY!

***Also, the minute you give your information, you will get a million phone calls and texts from other services. You will be bombarded every day with these. You're forced to deal with a lot of scam calls already - don't give your information!

I definitely do not recommend budget van lines. I signed up months before my move, 3 days before my move they called and explained the movers truck broke down. They said it would be best to find someone else. 3 days before my move!!!!! Thanks guys

A CSR called us promptly to discuss our upcoming move. He called back later to let us know that he had found an even less expensive quote for us. Very helpful and friendly.

Do not use this company unless you wish your phone and email accounts to be harassed. Within a few hours of requesting a quote I've had to block so many numbers and emails, and now I'm getting advertisements that are not even related to our move. Never even got an actual quote because the overwhelming spam was a clear indicator of the type of businesses we'd be dealing with.

They dont keep to there word. They have called me 3 different times. I gave them the information they asked for. They said it was good. Now they say they want to charge me another $1500. 00 to deliver my item's. They are not honest or keep to there contract. So now they have our things and seem to be holding it ransom for more money. This is a very badly ran company. You never talk to the same person amd they all tell you something different then what was agreed upon. Not honest at all.

Please do not use this company to move, might be the cheapest option, but you will be lied to on every phone call..

I will make this short, but from the day we paid a deposit to lock in our rate nothing went right. I booked our move over a month in advance. I paid for and was promised 3 days to load my stuff with a trailer at my house, but 5 days before the move I was told that I would need to bring my stuff to a trucking terminal to load it. They only offered a $75 discount and in checking with other companys 5 days out they were all booked out. Strike 1.

We were told from the get go that transit time would be 7 to 9 days, it's a lie, still waiting on day 10 for our stuff. I was told yesterday by a manager that the 7 to 9 day window is terminal to terminal, this was never said by any agent and is not the wording of the contract. Strike 2.

Every phone call with this company I get a different answer to the same question. Several times I have been told I don't know where the trailer is. This should never be told to a customer. I have also been told by several agents the same day that the trailer was in different locations. Strike 3.

Please DO NOT USE THE COMPANY. I would recommend using a full service mover, which is a lot more money, or using a direct trucking company who can monitor the where your trailer is and when it will be there!

These supposed moving specialists basically promise a professional and stress free moving service but nothing could be further from the truth. Original quote was doubled upon "quality follow up" prior to movers arrival. Job was given to Moving Mainia. First they missed not one but 3 four hour windows of arrival. Then immediately stated it was underbid and raised the price. The list from there is long and horrific so take my word and attached pictures and stay away from this service.
