Bucuti Beach Resort and TARA Suites Review

It's time to go back!
My husband and I were slightly nervous to travel back to Aruba (18th visit). Not because of Aruba but we were more hesitant about the airports. I'm so glad we went back. We felt very comfortable traveling and Aruba did a great job keeping everyone safe. We always stay at Bucuti and once again we had an amazing trip. The staff at Bucuti are incredible. You might arrive as a tourist but you will leave as a friend. They greet us with "welcome home". Thank you Frank and Mario for the warm welcome. Then there are countless people who will take amazing care of you; Orville, Robert, Margarita, Aldric, Juan, Karen, Janice, Greg, Archie and so many more who welcome you with a warm smile and exceptional customer service.
Bucuti is very romantic with spacious beaches. The food at their restaurant is exceptional! Additionally, there are many good options within walking distance. It s not a party scene at Bucuti but there s numerous night life options and then you can return to the serene beautiful experience at Bucuti.

My wife and I stayed stayed in Bucuti and Tara for our honeymoon during the Labor Day weekend. They were fantastic! The staff, the service, the installation, everything was top notch. The whole experience is designed for an intimate approach with each guest, so you feel special and they really take care of you. We will definitely be returning to this resort!

My absolute favorite place in the world! Can't wait to go back asap!! By far the best service resort on the island! Super clean aswell!

Adults only resort and restaurant! Not sure why the restaurant or the resort has to be adults only.... there are kids everywhere. Certain times throughout the year, fine... but in March?

One of the best resorts i have ever been too! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, Michelle, Marya, Frank from the front desk, Juan at breakfast, we feel we're in heaven, everything is sparkling clean, our room gets sanitized daily, the Covid protocols are right on. Best vacation ever, highly recommend!

Nice location without pretensions. It is not a mass tourist hotel like Marriots, Hyatt and the staff is very attentive.
It is not very worldly and the clientele is over 60. To rest !!! taking advantage of the beautiful beach.

The staff and service is top notch. We stayed there almost 2 years ago and still talk about what an amazing time we had. Frank who greets you at the entrance is the best thing about the hotel. The service from each staff member is remarkable. Invest your time into this hotel and you will leave satisfied with wonderful memories.

Hands down the best beach and resort in Aruba (huge plus being an adults only resort). Location is excellent and the property and amenities are outstanding. Only drawback is the dining on resort. The resort restaurant Elements has its moments but even after numerous meals we were unable to find consistent, quality dishes. Food is hit and miss overall.

Absolutely amazing! From the moment you pull up you are greeted with the warmest welcome and treated like royalty! My girlfriend and I were looking to get away and relax and we could not have picked a better place! The only bad part was having to leave but can t wait to return.

BY FAR THE MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. My husband and I stayed here for his 30th birthday. We stayed in a Tara suite and were treated like royalty the entire time. EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE made us feel at home throughout our entire stay. "Crazy Frank", Mr. Freddie and Maya were among some of our favorite faces. We had the opportunity to go on the VIP Island tour with Antonio and would absolutely recommend a day with him! The food was excellent - no matter where we ate. The only problem was that our stay wasn't long enough. We look forward to returning to Bucuti in the future!

We felt comfortable from the first moment. Rarely so friendly staff met. Begins at the reception until the room service. The small amenities such as beverage cups, concierge, beach chairs via. iPad make the holiday on the most beautiful beach in Aruba an experience. Had our first sunset dinner at Elements and everything was amazing. A must do if you re visiting Aruba.

I have one bad thing to say about this resort- I accidentally left some clothes in the room after checking out and called immediately when I got to my next location! I was told they would get back to me and I never got a call. I called EVERYDAY and still no response! The clothes were there and obviously the cleaning staff took them!
Not very honest people.
Either way it wasn t professional not to contact me.
Other than that it was a nice vacation

We just came back from a two-week stay at Bucuti & Tara, all during the COVID times - the safety protocols they have implemented are top-notch, so there are no worries in this regard, and the response by the staff to wave 2 was swift.

Before booking, we considered staying at one of the high-rises, but we're so glad we decided to stay at this boutique hotel. It's not that small - about 100 rooms, and yet, you don't have to wake up early to rush to palapas (they have a couple of lounge chairs and an umbrella for each couple). Due to the amount of beach space they have, umbrellas are spread out just enough for some privacy (and social distancing), yet they are still close enough for you to be able to chat with other guests.

Bucuti's location at the end of the Eagle beach is excellent. At first, I thought the beach would be too wide, but it was great - the ambiance and the view were fantastic. Now I feel that Palm Beach, where the high-rises are, is even a bit too narrow - we must just be spoiled by Bucuti's beach. The water at Palm beach is quieter, but the waves at Eagle beach make the beach look more natural. As expected in Aruba, the water is clear, no rocks, no seaweed, just paradise.

The resort is built and is operated with a focus on just one thing - exceeding expectations of each guest. They had several higher-end rooms unbooked at the time of our stay, and they have upgraded us, and whomever they could, just because they wanted us to have the best stay. Of course, next time I don't expect the same treatment (This resort is always booked up in regular times), but I appreciated it now. The Deluxe room is already really nice! Next time, I'll ask for a room on the ground floor - you can come out from your patio as the door locks automatically. This is convenient and gives easy access to the beach!

Everything during our stay at Bucuti was fantastic. We have met people there that go back year after year, and I am not surprised. The staff is excellent! Thank you, guys, for all the great attention and kindness.

We ended up having dinner at Elements at least 5 out of our 14 evenings. The atmosphere and the food are great! At the bar, Pina Coladas are aaa-maaa-zing. We never missed a happy hour at 4 pm. Also, I suggest having dinner at Senses at least once (It's around $110 per person) - the tasting menu and the whole 3-hr experience is terrific. Every evening we were looking forward to our breakfast at the beach deck - that's when you realize the value of having breakfast included. The partially covered area by the bar, on the beach, has good wifi and provides ample shade to see computer screens (useful for remote working).

The rooms are really nicely set up, and the bed... well, high-quality Tempurpedic, was the most comfortable of any hotel I stayed at, and I am really picky when it comes to mattresses! The A/C worked really well, and there is no mildew smell what so ever - they made a genius decision to install air purifiers in every room, and it keeps the air fresh.

The resort is quite romantic. There were many young (20's & 30's) couples at Bucuti, and I was a bit surprised - the ages of the guest were diverse, which created a pleasant atmosphere. We witness at least three proposals. Twice a week, they have outdoor movie nights - those were lovely and became highly anticipated by us. Such a great idea!

Honestly, there is not a single negative thing I can say about the resort. We cannot wait to go back, and we will now only stay at Bucuti. If you are considering staying here, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

Wonderful location, would even go as far & say it's the closest place I've experienced to paradise. Large, open beach with soft white sand. Hotel is in an excellent location on Eagle Beach. Very comfortable & spacious rooms. Staff are a credit to the hotel. Very polite & friendly. Great selection for breakfast, bar meals & restaurant. You won't regret a vacation/holiday here.

I waited several months before posting my review of Bucuti & Tara so that the effect of our vacation had a chance to settle. I assure you, it has not.
Even as I write this, today, the resort, the people, the island, remain at the forefront of my thoughts. My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary in Aruba and realized all we had hoped. Eagle Beach is truly the finest beach in this part of the world. The constant temperature was pleasant. So, when mother nature provides that, the only thing that can make it truly a paradise is the resort.
We stayed in a suite overlooking the grounds. I am confident that any room will meet our expectations when we return. That is because we did not spend our vacation inside. We ventured around the island and found respite in our resort.
The people of Aruba are amazing. One Happy Island is ingrained in every person living and working on this beautiful island. From the cab drivers to the "bus" drivers, from the resort employees to the retail merchants, everyone is happy to see vacationers.
Janice at Bucuti was most generous. She brought us seafood that we cooked in our kitchen suite. Every person who handed me a beach towel to the person serving the drinks on the beach to our host at check in was the ultimate in professional. Happy. That is how they live.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to visit Aruba. Our vacation was made perfect by staying at Bucuti. If there were more than 5 stars to give, they would be yours, Bucuti. Thank you.

The Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is one of the best resorts on the island of Aruba, equipped with all comforts and a private internal beach. The staff is always ready to welcome and help its customers in every need. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Worth noting is the resort-level amenities such as television in the glass bathroom and room service at any time. The location of this resort is fantastic and you won't regret spending a few days pampered and served. From the private beach every day you can admire a dreamlike sunset. Luxury resort prices

Absolutely a 5 star visit. We were pretty torn before booking between the Bucuti and Hyatt for our honeymoon. After our stay I doubt we would ever stay anywhere else while visiting Aruba. All of the staff is incredibly friendly. A really nice touch is that they have 2 happy hours every day, one before dinner and one after. If you enjoy sitting on the beach this has to be the best option on the island. We walked on a couple of high rise hotel beaches to compare and they look miserable compared to the Bucuti. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Aruba.

You will be greated with a glass of champagne and already feel at home. In General everyone is super helpful and attentive.

The hotel is located in beautiful eagle beach. It posses a nice and super wide stretch of white beach. The beach beds are heavenly and spread out - not like sardines on most other hotels we saw. While u relax you get chilled refreshing towels or fruit.
Twice a week there is a movie night right on the beach which is pretty cool.

The elements Restaurant as well as the sand bar offer great, attentive and super friendly service. The view is just stunning. Make sure to have lunch/ dinner on the deck for sunset.
Breakfast is included in the rates. It is a buffet, that leaves nothing to wish for. Definitely try the omelette and waffles - heavenly.

The rooms are super nice, some of them with ocean views. Everything is refurbished and has a very high standard, such as USB chargers by the bed an electric mirror, coffee machine and so on. There is even a night service, which is nice.

We used the gym a lot. It is well equipped with everything you need for a proper workout.

The hotel is very conscious about the environment. So they avoid waste wherever they can. You will realize their good efforts. It doesn't mean any inconvenience for you as a guest though. Very good effort!

Simply great hotel for couples, especially honeymooner. Ample distance between the beach chairs on the beach, excellent service, friendly and always happy staff. The hotel is in my opinion the most beautiful beach section of all of Aruba. To Palm Beach in the next city you drive about 10 minutes by taxi for $ 10. There are many great restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel area is very safe with 24-hour reception. The hotel offers special excursions for the hotel guests. These are perfectly organized and only for smaller groups. Just fabulous! We would come back immediately!

Great resort. Only breakfast included but it's a big breakfast. Beach is the cleanest we've seen so far. Food at Elements is either OK or good, depending on your standards. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room was upgraded for free which was a nice anniversary surprise. The suite-style room is spacious, clean and reasonably well constructed. Balcony view of beach and water is picturesque.

Everything during our stay went smoothly, the entire staff was friendly and several would even say hello to us and other guests by name. Step out of your room and you are just a few short steps away from a beach is beyond compare. Worth every penny.

Absolutely wonderful in every way possible. Service, attention to detail, personal connections -- this is a resort that gets it. There were real people working there, not snooty elitists that you might think from such a highly rated resort. The staff truly made you feel welcome and was genuinely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Of course, it's not hard to do given their base, the property and location is immaculate and is as perfect on paper with more than a touch of environmental proactiveness as I've ever seen or heard from a resort. Definitely worth it!

This was my second time at the adults only Bucuti & Tara Suites. Being a travel agent, I prefer not to repeat a resort or hotel so that I can experience more but in this case, I needed to return. It is one of the most relaxing and beautiful resorts I have ever experienced in all my years of travel! If I am approached to book a honeymoon, Bucuti is always one of my top choices.

A very relaxing and tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of the high rise area. From the personal check in and room tour to a very knowledgable concierge to the housekeeping service, everything here is truly a 5 star experience. Rooms are beautiful, up to date, and spacious. Dehumidifiers eliminate the usual beachside hotel smell that other places have. TVs allow for iPhone/android phone mirroring if you want to stream anything. Wifi is excellent. The resort is fairly small compared to other resorts on the island, so the pool, beach, restaurant, bar, gym, and spa are never crowded, and the very warm and friendly staff are able to get to know you. Being next to a beach that was never crowded with hotel specific chairs, no beach vendors, and no kids was worth every penny. Will definitely be back to Aruba and back to Bucuti and Tara!

Unbelievable personalized service the entire stay. Every employee of the quaint, charming facility was ready to serve when needed, but not in the way. There isn't one single detail that was overlooked. We hope to come back someday. And we rarely say that after being somewhere.

Stayed here for my honeymoon, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as perfect as possible. The two restaurants on location, Elements and Senses, were both just as amazing. My wife and I could not have asked for a better honeymoon. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway. We can't wait to go back!

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. From the amazing location to the breathtaking views this is THE place to stay when in Aruba. I booked this place for my honeymoon since it was adults only and from the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs. The staff is super friendly and attentive, At check-in we were meet at the drive way by bellhop who took bags straight to the room and were then greeted by the reception staff along with champagne toast. We were given full tour of the grounds and the room. As they knew it was our honeymoon, there was a gift of cheese and wine waiting in the room along with a personalized sign welcoming us. I had booked a Tara suite and the Room was top notch. Nice bathroom and living area along with decent size bedroom and plenty of usb and other charging ports. There was also a mircowave, refrigerator(minibar) and some basic kitchenware(glasses, utensils,etc) But the best part was the AMAZING view from the balcony. The white sand and blue ocean stretchered out before us was a mesmerizing sight. They offer free breakfast at Elements restaurant and Tara Lounge but we chose to eat at the Tara Lounge as it was less crowded and right in the building. There was good selection of food, There was also staff available to make eggs and omelets as well as waffles. One bonus note there is a free guest laundry on the ground floor so if you get some detergent you can just pack that carry on or skip the hassle of washing when you are back home. We can't wait to return!

I've been to many hotels on Aruba but honestly Bucuti & Tara takes the cake. I highly recommend this hotel if you're seeking an extremely relaxing/romantic vacation all the while being environmentally friendly!
