Not the place to go if you're looking for an actual career. Seems to be more focused on starter jobs and quickly filling vacancies for high turnover positions. Doesn't matter what's on your resume, John will try to hook you up with a job at Taco Bell next door.
I attended career link and they taught me alot about things without charging me any money. Well i had no job and no money. They showed me how to work a computer and diffrent programs. They helped me write out a resume the right way. I was given a grant to attend a school to help with edjucation and they help you find a job.
Great place they were very helpful.if your on unemployment I rate this the best one to go too. Staff was excellent.
My name is Donna McCarthy. I reached out to careerlink pertaining to unemployment compensation and they were so helpful. Returned my calls in a timely manner. The receptionist , Samantha was so kind and helpful and Sandy helped me so much. I cannot thank them enough as Covid really effected our family financially and we needed the unemployment benefits.
I had a question about unemployment, the response I got was we are not unemployment but you can wait in line for the phone
So, I waited in line for the phone over an hour. When it was my turn, they called my name and asked me what it was I needed to ask unemployment about. When I told them, they said, oh we can help you with that, you don t need to call unemployment for that..
I just don t get it. Are you unemployment or are you not unemployment, and why did you make me wait over an hour for something you could have helped me with right away?

I went here to obtain my GED while pregnant and even though it was hard to attend most days due to sickness and all, Amanda, cait, & steve encouraged me to come everyday! i got all but one test done while pregnant & after i got my 3rd test done i had my baby and no one was able to watch him for 2 months, amanda asked me if i wanted to take a test on the day of graduation and i went in and got amazing math help from anthony and encouragement from amanda and sure enough i passed and obtained my ged at 16 years old with a child. i am so happy with my life today and without them i wouldn t have gotten here!! DEFINETLY GO HERE FOR A GED OR FOR A JOB! they re amazing!!!

Veterans assistance, and Census training are one of the may highlights offered here. The offices, equipment and facilities are clean, efficient and well kept. Many program s can be found, researched for to help those find vocational training to research.
Very friendly and super helpful and I was also happy that I was able to bring my daughter due to my babysitter canceling on me at the last minute and it was not a day gone to waste.I was able to bring her and she sat down and was so good and super quite for me to get done what I had to get done and they also kept her busy with all the coloring papers that they had for her this app was very nice
