Buckeye was always a huge help to me in my years a...

Buckeye was always a huge help to me in my years as a competitive wakeboarder through their ride days and coaches on staff. But that aside, they helped my family with a massive repair on our chaparral boat and did an unbelievable job, from sales to the service department, they are unmatched. there is a reason they are the best dealer in the country!

Today I spoke with the owner Mr. Poole, who called me to follow up as he had promised. He endeavored to make things right and explained to me that he was not interested in overcharging his clients. Mr. Poole added that "he aims at making his clients satisfied and happy with their rental experiences". I believe him and thank him for his case review and actions.
We will be back next year!

Came visiting from BC, having planned this outing for a long time with our family in Lindsay. Gorgeous day...Upon arrival, seemingly good, efficient service and organization. However, upon return we were charged 600 dollars for minor prop and skeg repairs. We did not have a "before" photo to compare prop damage after. Asked some folks around and they estimated repairs under $200. Suggest that you protect yourself by taking pictures of hull, prop and skeg BEFORE your outing to prevent this from happening. A computer would guesstimate your damage payment at a rate of $135/hour, and it may quickly ruin your fun! Wishing you good boating...The Pickering Family.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Cheryl Henderson and Gary Morgan, two stellar employee's of Buckeye Marine.
My family and I had the absolute pleasure of dealing directly with Cheryl and Gary when we rented a beautiful Chaparral 21 SSi boat from their location.

This is the second time we've rented and the experience keeps getting better every time! From the initial communication via email, to the over the phone correspondence, to taking delivery and post rental follow up - everything was perfect! This company has customer service dialed in. We are completely blown away with how courteous and friendly each of the staff are, and how efficient they operate - it truly makes for a fantastic experience.

We will be back again next year and look forward to seeing our friends at Buckeye Marine. Thanks again for everything! Chris Holmes

The team of Amy Potter, Jay Poole and David Taylor...

The team of Amy Potter, Jay Poole and David Taylor were very thorough, responsive and professional that gave me confidence and positive experience dealing with Buckeye. The purchase and flexability to hold my boat there until I could arrange pick up helped a great deal. They were very knowledgeable and if they didn't have the answers, they would search them out for me. Also they spent additional time to ensure I was set up properly and gave great safety tips on or off the water. Will certainly buy from them again and if they were closer to my home I would trust them to service as well.

The guys in the parts department did me a huge sol...

The guys in the parts department did me a huge solid when I needed a part for the boat while visiting the Kawartha Lakes area.
I had to buy a new nav light base. Without being asked, the parts counter person took the plug off of my old base and wired it onto the new base. He knew that I wouldn't have the tools on the road with me and that I would need to be able to just plug it back in.
NO CHARGE!
I was very impressed!

Bought a Seadoo with a new motor in it, only to find out that everything was done very poorly, would never ever recommend or have and motor serviced there, good way to waste 3 grand thanks Buckeye! Since the review I have contacted buckeye as asked, and they have no interest in making it better. Pretty sure there techs thinks silcone will fix everything!

Poor customer service. We bought a 2017 Princecraf...

Poor customer service. We bought a 2017 Princecraft Ventura 192 privately with only 25 hours on it. The boat was purchased from Buckeye Marine at the 2019 boat show in Toronto. We drove all the way to Quebec from Niagara to pick up the boat. I called Buckeye and asked to come by with the boat so I could have some issues addressed. They said they were too busy. When I got home I called them and let 2 messages and they never returned my call. I have since called Princecraft and told them about my experience. They did not seem impressed. Don't give Bucyeye your business.

They sell me a 10 L a jug of oil for my boat motor and then they don't have any oil in stock for me to replace that jug supposed to get a $10 discount when I get a refill but if they don't have any oil then I can't get a refill

Fabulous customer service!
Picked up our new boat today and we couldn t be more pleased to have purchased from Buckeye!
From the attention at the boat show (Brian listening to our needs, taking us through the boat we wanted and helping with options, Carly finding out additional information for us, and Shirley in financing) through communication after the show ensuring we were happy with our purchase and finally today with picking up our boat and the fabulous water test with Sean ensuring we knew the features and were comfortable on the water.
Thank you so much to the full team! You ve absolutely exceeded our expectations!

Rented a boat from buckeye for the weekend . What ...

Rented a boat from buckeye for the weekend . What a complete waste of a day , I was told that the boat would be dropped off at Gordon yacht marina at 9:15. So we made our way there across the pigeon lake on our jet skis and arrived at buckeye surf. Since this isn t where you pick up the boat, we had to make our way back to our cottage then drive out to buckeye marine. They did not clearly indicate this and since both carry the same name it can be confusing , so we wasted about an hour and a half of our day .

Now we finally pick up the boat and get on the water at around noon. The boat suddenly dies on us after about 15 minutes of use. We can t seem to figure out what the problem is, so we call Buckeye for assistance , well they weren t of much help. A good samaratin comes by after about an hour and we try filling the boat up with some fuel. The boat works again, we were given a boat without fuel!

Again after another 15 minutes of riding , the boat dies for the second time. Now we re really frustrated . After sitting on the water for an additional 2 hours , we finally get towed back to our cabin. Clearly there was an issue with this boat .

After speaking with Wendy , all they would be willing to compensate is a full refund and a jet ski rental but at the normal price . Way to waste our time !

Most expensive marina I went to for boat prices and the prices didn't match the product. just to pricey for what they have to offer. We also waited 40 min for someone to show us boats before we finally left and went elsewhere.

I am in a unique situation to rate Buckeye, having been both a team member and a customer. I can tell you from my experience whether you are looking for a boat or a career in the boating industry Buckeye is the place for you. As a business owner today I look to Buckeye as a benchmark for customer satisfaction. Everything about Buckeye is centred around ensuring the customer enjoys all the boating life has to offer.

You can't expect that everything goes perfect 100%...

You can't expect that everything goes perfect 100% of the time. Things go wrong from time to time. What makes the experience satisfying, and enjoyable is the way problems are managed. The few issues that we have had with our boat has been looked after professionally. We have had a great experience dealing with Mark. He is very knowledgable and accommodating. When it is time to look for a new boat, we'll certainly look for Mark again. Thank you! Great experience so far.
