Solid food in a cozy environment. The portions are not a joke so dont be surprised to leave with leftovers.

I like the dinning food style of this restaurant. Waiters are friendly and responsive. There is kid's menu given for children with painting games inside.

If you are going to do whale watching this is a good place to eat. The service is quick and friendly, the food is quality and ideal if you go with children because they have hamburgers and pizzas of different sizes. Good wine and beer menu. The price is very correct and the place is tastefully decorated. Open till late, we have gone to lunch at 3:00 pm and have served us so it's a very good option.

It has been a really good pizza there. Service was outstanding.

I really had a problem to decide what to eat, since the menu had really a lot of different choices, so i did go for mozzarella sticks with salsa as starter - they were awesome. The Pizza as main course was super delicious too.

They made a mistake with a topping of another pizza and they didn t charge the pizza.

Would definitely recommend again.

Stunning ribs and pizza. Me and my wife visited one evening and was delighted with what we found. A beautiful building with lovely staff and best of all plenty of locals eating there also (always a good sign in my opinion). Really can't recommend it enough if you are in akureyri and fancy some good food. It isn't in what you might call the centre exactly but it is only a extremely short walk to there!

Visited here whilst in Iceland, had the most amazing food and service!

Service and ambiance were great. Ribs were super yummy and chips were the best I ve tasted in Iceland. Hubby ordered the pasta with lobster and while it was very tasty, for the price the lobster portion could have been a bit more generous.

A really nice looking pizza pub. The place was originally built in 1911 and later converted to a restaurant in the 1990's. The old exposed rafters looked really cool and the brick bar was a cool touch.

The staff were pleasant and the odd pizza recipes were actually quite good. I've never had cream cheese on a pizza but it was quite good.

A cozy place to enjoy your dinner. Vera tasty food and great waiters. Would definitely come back!

We went there on a Friday evening. The restaurant was full of locals and we were the only tourists which made us feel good. The waitress was really nice and the pizza were good, although not exceptionnal (The crust was a bit hard). Besides this, it is a really nice location in the town!

Very good, even if more expensive than you are used to at home. But you know that when you want to eat out in Iceland.

All food ordered was excellent. The staff is competent. The atmosphere is interesting. A building with a story. More than 150 years. Before the restaurant (since 2013) there was either an auto parts store or a workshop.

Loved it so much didn't want to leave. So welcoming.

Actually I would rate 3 stars but the food was very good. The restaurant has also a good beer selection. But the staff is not really interested in their customers. We and all other at the table had to wait only for the first order 20 minutes minimum. They never ask us, is everything good, do you like one beer more. So we paid and leave the restaurant quick.

A really nice little restaurant in downtown Akureyri. We had the fried Camembert and the fish and chips and both were really good. The waiter spoke great English and I would recommend for lunch or dinnet to anyone staying in town

The waiter is super attentive and they attend quickly. Peaceful place. It eats very well and has large and varied dishes (the healthy options are really rich). I loved it! The price is according to what you consume.

Went to eat here with our children. The food was great. The staff friendly and welcoming. They had a children s menu and a playroom for the little ones. Children under 5 eat free. Overall a great experience and highly recommend to families.

Went here for food as we had a coupon from the Iceland coupons book, pizza was delicious and we shared it with fries between two of us. Lovely place, good service, English spoken by servers.

Prices are average for Iceland. Had some burgers, fries and BBQ chicken wings. Everything was delicious! You won't be disappointed.

It was quiet when I went around lunch, so the food arrived really quickly. Needless to say it was bloody good! Mozzarella sticks and the Bryggjan burger are definitely recommended.

Starter and very large 16 "pizza extremely tasty. Nevertheless, it was very expensive, by Austrian standards, recommended. In addition, the very pretty waitresses corrected a billing error without hesitation.

Food was reasonably priced, for Iceland. Pizza was good but the Louisiana chicken wasn't my favorite. Still, wasn't disappointed. It's also open relatively late, even on Sunday.

We were a large group (18) - low food service, some diners dishes arrived after others had almost finished. Food was okay.

After all the positive reviews I was totally disappointed.

The burger was one of the worst I ever had. No taste at all, no seasoning and the very flat beef patty was dry and pressed to a compact hard mass. It was really hard to chew.

And that was only the food. Service is not better. First they messed up the order and forgot one of the appetizers. The excuse was a computer error...
And when we asked for the bill our waiter acknowledged it and was never seen again.

I would not go again and cannot recommend the restaurant.

Good restaurant with a good price / performance ratio. Unfortunately, my beef was cold. Complained and immediately got a new warm portion of beef. Hence only a star deduction. The white ale is very tasty and can only be recommended. Served with a slice of orange. Delicious

Great food and selection of food for the nice/casual fare. We were in hiking clothes, but some others were in nicer outfits. Everything we ordered was really good. The staff were friendly and attentive.
