Wish Homedepot or lowes was closer This hole is over priced and rude people. You think ACE would care about their name but their customer service is worse than this stores.!!!!

You can always ask, and get a (good) answer at this place. They will cut glass, repair screens and all the other old-style hardware store things you can't get anymore.
Great place with great, friendly service. Certainly beats Lowe's and Home Depot.
Bryans Road Building Supply is what a hardware store should be. They sell a little bit of everything. From tools, building material, and extensive hardware selection. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can help you get the things you need to complete your project.
Great local hardware store in Bryan's road very helpful and polite..
Great local hardware store, excellent customer service!
This is a real hardware store with knowledgeable people working there. I have ordered stuff from the Account website that I picked up at the store. I have also ordered nearly obsolete plumbing parts that arrived in about a week.
They have everything and anything you are looking for. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Haven't lived near this place in 3 years but went in because I KNEW they would have a specific obscure bolt I needed. Great place.
You need an ID to purchase any product regardless if you do Debit.... This was such an inconvenience to me I had to drive all the way back to the house to get and ID because I rode with my dad and he didn't have the money to buy the materials I needed of course. This took up a extra 30 mins for something that no one ask for I'm beyond frustrated
I love coming to this place everybody there has an answer for whatever question you might have.....
This is a nice little home town hardware that has lots of personal service. If you need it, they have it, and can give you good advice about it.
They have everything. If not will order it for you. Thank you
Super friendly staff that got my parts needed and ordered in fast... highly recommend
Great family owned Ace location... location has a great mix of products, and staff is wonderful!
A 1937 southern Maryland classic; Ace Hardware affiliate. It has cavernous outbuildings for lumber, roofing, etc. Delivers bulk gravel, stone, and sundries. Friendly staff, tightly packed aisles.
If you forget to tell them you have a rewards card you'll get quite the altitude. No thanks I'd rather drive to Lowe's in La Plata than deal with that again.
Family run business for many years that continues to please their many return customers with great service!
They have the hard to find stuff. Staff knows their way around hardware. Try here first.
have a little bit of everything - sometimes a bit more expensive than elsewhere, but you're paying for convenience. staff is always helpful
It's like A Family business everyone is knowledgeable an friendly I enjoy going in.
The people here are really helpful and always have what I need
Family run business that has always met my expectations. I journey over there 2-3 times a month for various residential hardware items & supplies.
I haven't been here in years. Seems a little cramped. But it's still a hardware store where you can buy 1 screw. Helpful people as well.
My favorite hardware store with great service and a very knowledgeable staff that are versed in all of the building trading disciplines.
Glad to see that they are open for business. Great prices on various things.
Nice local hardware store with a helpful staff and almost always has everything I need.
I went in to find new shelf supports for a kitchen cabinet where the shelf fell due to the old ones breaking. The cashier helped me find the parts and took her time to make sure I had the correct size. My purchase was just over $2 but she helped me as if I were doing a major renovation. Will come back here for my hardware needs.
I love this place. The staff treat you like family and are always very welcoming and helpful. First stop I go when I need anything for the house.
Love BR Supply! This is a good old fashioned hardware store plus-they have everything. Convenient-much rather go there than the big box stores. The people are nice and helpful-so glad they are here in Bryans Road.
Love this ace hardware. They have a lot of variety of different things.
Ace is the place. Not cheap but they have what I need and the staff is always helpful.
This is a real old school hardware store and quite frankly every time I've gone there I have found what I was looking for. It truly is an asset for the community.
Very Rude staff. Will be taking my business to the LaPlata Ace from now on.
What they don't have, they can special order. Friendly and generally knowledgeable staff.
Maybe one of the friendliest hardware stores I've been in and me personally like the old country store look being a kid from the city
I go to the Bryans Road Building Supply Hardware Store when ever I can.I like the home town feel of the place and they have a lot of stuff related to hardware and building needs the place is bigger than it looks haha. They don't have a couple of things but they usually have what I need and are very helpful. A little bit more expensive sometimes but their not like home depot.I would recommend them.
This is a local business that has a large variety of products. I was able to find what I was looking for.
I had 2 windows that were crack so I took them to Bryan Rd Hardware. David assure me that he knew how to repair double pane windows. One window he crushed the aluminum casing that the glass and glazing sits in . The other window had dirt enclosed in it . It is the worst window repair job one can get. When I went to pick up my windows David insist on taking the windows to the car and placed them in the trunk. I remain in the store to finish up my business within the store. Once home I saw the shabby job that he did. I called the store 3 times and all 3 times I was put on hold to talk to David needless to say he never came to the phone. The people there are very nice and I want to support my neighborhood store but please do not allow them to jack your windows up in the winter!!! I want to CRY
The people here are great! I walk into the store with nothing questions and issues and leave with solutions. Even if they don't have what I need on hand someone has advice. Everyone is extremely helpful.
Very suspicious and rude folks. Also extremely over priced. Its just a shady place
I hate the fact that they always ask for ID when you used a credit card. It's ridiculous and irritating! My drivers license doesn't carry the suffix on it and that was questioned by the cashier. Smh.
Store has practically everything you need at reasonable prices. Got keys cut for my SUV for $2 since I brought my own keys which the dealership was charging $150 per key just to cut. Bought pool filter sand for $12/bag. Other places charged $17+ for the same thing. Friendly staff & knowledgeable, too. When you walk in it looks small but there are other sections, you just have to find the door that joins it to the main part of the store. Sometimes a hometown hardware store is what you need instead of the big box store like Lowe's or Home Depot.
Helpful hardware store it truly is, will make it my regular go to place.
Nearest place for me to pick up whatever I need from a hardware store. Great customer service.
Between the massive triple building and yard, there's almost nothing you can't find here that you expect at a local hardware store. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Can always count on this place for supplies to fix things around the house, and for new projects. My go to place, before big box stores. Employees knowledgeable on how to use supplies makes it even more comfortable buying from them. I recently bought a new lawn mower, bird seed and shelving.
A great place to find and purchase that hard to locate item.
Very convenient hardware store that I like going to when looking for hardware.I have been shopping at this store for quite sometime now and the customer service here is absolutely great.
Anytime I go there and ask for help, someone is always available to help. The helper always knows well in and out of the store. He/she will take you around and help you find what you are looking for. By doing so help you save a lot of time going around in the store.
One day I went there looking for the easiest way to connect my water heater and less than five minutes the assistant was able to help me get the proper connector .
Yesterday, I was there again this time looking for an adapter for a water pump.Again in less than five minutes , the assistant took me around and got me the correct pipe.
I will definitely shop there again.
Great local option when you need something quick. Prices are a little higher than HD or Lowes but staff is EXCELLENT and very knowledgeable. Closes early and closed on Sundays.
And you would not believe the selection that still have it's a very good store I like it alot
Old school guys, who know what they're talking about.
Just not good. I ve gone on about 6 times and only ran into two helpful people. Dave can help you up front and the guy in back with landscaping rocks was great. Two stars for those two people.
Every single person at a cashier has been a complete and total jerk even by phone.
If it s your last resort then good luck. At this point I d rather drive farther.
Always remember, you aren t doing me any favors and I m not getting anything for free. I can take my business somewhere I don t have to deal with you horrible attitude.
This is my neighborhood hardware store. Great shopping experience plus very helpful staff.
Great quick shop without crowds. Wood was exposed to the elements (cold and rain) so was very rough and more warped than those in HD and Lowes. Very helpful staff. Prices much higher.
Have been going there for over 15 years and got to know everyone there by face over the years. One day, I was at a grocery store and noticed [at the register next to me] was an employee from Bryan's Road Building supply. I smiled and said "Hi". But she ignored me. I thought she did not see me nor hear me, so I said "Hi" again. Again, nothing. Now I am thinking she was distracted with checking out, so I pulled on her cart to get her attention which was a HUGE mistake on my part!!! At the top of her voice she starting yelling, telling me to not touch her cart and continued about how busy she was, on and on and on.
I thought, maybe she is having a bad day or something happened and let it go. Very taken back by the whole thing.
A couple days later, I go to Bryan's Road Building supply and see her. I smile, wave and ask if she is ok. Again....wrong thing to do!! She started yelling and I am again verbally attacked for touching her cart and she stated that she has to be nice to me in the store, but not outside of it!
I raised my hands and said "Ok, if I see you outside, I will ignore you."
I obtained my items, went to another register and left.
Am I going back? No way. I do not want to go to a place of business and avoid seeing an employee or feeling extremely uneasy and uncomfortable if I do. All because I was being friendly saying "Hi" to her outside of the store.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are competitive over all with the big box stores, eapecially if you include the cost of driving and time to get there. Always my first stop for any project or home or garden need.
great local hardware store ... good service with a wide selection of products
People are always very helpful and knowledgable. The older gentleman who runs it has helped me numerous times as a novice homeowner. I have also seen if they dont have it they will help you find where you can get it. This is truly a neighborhood store, I wish we had more places like this.
