To start off, I know how authentic italian food is supposed to taste. I ordered the eggplant parm from here. Not good at all. On top of that, everything is a la carte. No side pasta for a $25 meal. Go to Bacchanalia down the street or IL vicinato on western

By far the best Italian food in the city! They have a patio with tents separating each table. Perfect for social distancing and completely cozy with the personal heaters. We had the special lobster ravioli in brown butter sauce and the grilled calamari as an appetizer. The food was so yummy!! Street parking is easily found and free. Public transit is also really close with the western Ave pink line and western bus within short proximity.

Such a quaint beautiful restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. I really enjoyed our server. He was amazing! The baked classic were delicious and the tiramusu was heavenly. Hidden gem for sure!

Spent a lovely October afternoon dining at a Chicago landmark. Service was great. Suggestions were so on spot. Jesus gave great advice which we followed.
Meat raviolis and the tortellini were tasty. As an appetizer we tried tomatoes with pesto and mozzarella. Delicious! Extensive wine as well.

My friend and I are coming down for vacation in Chicago, and we looked up good Italian restaurants. The food pictures here look great. It was great to eat! When we walked in, you see red lights and a bar scene. There were a group of serious people having a business proposal to the side, and the serious waiter brought us the back to have more personal space. My friend got linguine, and I got a stick special with tomato sauce on it for about $24. Wanted delicious rare steak, and although delete was very simple, pasta in it and it tasted really good! We were joking that the serious business people speaking in the front were the Italian mafia, hehehe
