I absolutely love the hospitality of this venue. Not a bad seat in the house and the entertainment line up is top notch. Going again this weekend!

Very comfortable seating and incredibly nice staff. I will say that depending on the show you go to depends on how great the experience will be. The actual auditorium was very nice though. Slightly smaller than expected.
Nice intimate setting. Great show. Everything you could want at the concession stand.
Very great staff! Always very friendly and knowledgeable
What a great time we had
Loved being part of the show ,
We will be back for sure
Saw John McEuen last night. Great!
And a live "war of the worlds"
Walked by a dozen times. Had a dim view of what might possibly transpire inside. How foolish. It's a delight. Intimate setting showcasing extremely talented, professional artists that (when I was there) absolutely bounced the house! Beer and wine was observed. Regret I waited so long to check it out!
I adore this little playhouse. Haven t been to any movies, only the live performances. The snack bar is great. It s such a lovely intimate theater. Will be back for more!
Great productions and films! Great place to watch a show!
Enjoying the wacky humor and music of Haywood Banks at Brown County Playhouse!
I enjoy having a local theater for movies. It's just very seldom something really good is showing. There were religious movies for many weeks in a row, one shown many times. Now an animated movie. So will be 2 months without a regular action/drama/comedy movie. It would be great to expand the building for 2 movies if possible or new location. And a fountain soda machine would be greatly appreciated.
Friday July 10 had tickets for the King show 3hrs before hand get email it's been canceled drove over 2.5hrs got a 200.00 a night room if that just don't suck.
Cute theatre. Spacious and clean. Great price for entertainment.
A great place to listen to music. The staff are friendly with that home town feeling.
Attended the Fingerstyle Festival concert. Great seating with excellent performers. Adult beverages were available. Staff treated everyone well. Check'em out!
A great fun place for movies, music and community theater.
You can drink and watch movies here! They serve wine and beer!
It was great saw a band called back in the day fantastic music 70s tunes good band!!!
Always great shows! Never been disappointed! 5 shows this year.
Great, relaxed venue. Beer, popcorn and a movie. Hard to beat.
Musical review..."I Got The Music In Me"...I loved their enthusiasm...a good evening with friends...very nice small town venue!
Love this place! Special atmosphere for live shows and movies. It's a local gem.
So glad to have a local place to watch movies. Staff is friendly. Great live shows.
Great little venue in the middle of a quaint town. Perfect way to wrap up a day.
Loved the food and drink selection for the Fingerstyle show here.
The venue is basic and the Christmas musical, Believe, was mediocre.
A nice smaller venue. Everyone is very nice and helpful. You should try to catch a show when you are in town.
I love this little theater. They have movies every week and quality music shows, comedians
We went to the show " Believe " it was fantastic. Well worth the price of admission. Very good family entertainment.
Extremely entertaining plays and a great place to spend an evening.
Its all in the details, glad to see top notch entertainment back in the hills. They are getting things dialed in.
First time and we loved it!! Will return! Recommend!
Great place to see a Christmas show. Nice facility, good people, a Nashville Indiana institution.
Just spent weekend and saw Nunsense. Perhaps it was where we were sitting, but we were unable to understand most of what was being said onstage. When singing, the instrumentals drowned out the voices. It was a shame because I love the atmosphere of the theater. Just makes for a long 2 hrs when trying to understand everything being said.
The Brown County Playhouse is like Dr. Who's Tardis. It's much bigger on the inside! I kid you, not. The entrance is this tiny little building on the main drag, but the actual theatre is quite large and very nice! We saw Eunan McIntyre from Ireland perform, along with several others. This show was a real treat!
Great place, cozy , people friendly definitely a place id come back to
The 4 Dimensions (Rock, Pop, R&B and Country) from the 50s, 60, 70s, and 80s was truly awesome. I totally enjoyed each of the performers and what they brought to the style of music they were singing. Look forward to more performances.
That place was amazing my first time in Nashville
Unique shows and world class musical acts in a small intimate venue. This is a not for profit organization and absolutely worth supporting!
Very good, intimate performance from obvious professionals
Nice small town atmosphere show. Check it out if your in town
Great little gem in down town Nashville. They have a wide variety of performances and even show movies. Check their web site for what's available. They also have a small consession with wine. Buy tickets online or at location. This is a small intimate theater so buy tickets ahead of time or call to make sure the event is not sold out.
A great place to see a live show, play or even a movie!
We love it! Cute little theater. Seats where comfy and the band we caught while in town was a great treat!
The Worst Experience I Have Ever had! I was told that my tickets were double printed...so they gave my tickets to someone else! While I was told they were getting a manager, the manager was trying to find us seats. Mean while other people went in. I could not sit with my friends I came with. I asked for my money back and was told no, the manager that told me that they were getting a manager, said she was doing the best she could...not good enough! DO NOT USE WILLCALL!
Will not ever return, worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would give a 0star, but wasn't an option!
Very nice inside. Much bigger than I thought it would be.
We received tickets as a gift for he Barney Fife Fully Loaded show at the Brown County Playhouse. We left very early into the show after several border crosser , foreigner , distasteful remarks. If this type of material was a part of the original Andy Griffith television series, we could understand it would also be included in a comedic act, which we would never choose to watch. However, it is not. Therefore, we did not expect it to be included in the show and found it very offensive. The poor comedic attempt was a cover to spew racial slurs. While the statements may not be the expressed opinions of the Brown County Playhouse, the venue was used as a platform to speak hate toward a particular people group. As the saying goes, there is truth in jest.
Couldn't see a play but they were showing a movie. Had a great time watching A Clock In The Wall, drinking Appletini
We had a wonderful time. The group and music was outstanding
One of the best kept secrets in Brown County exclamation marks all around!
I absolutely LOVE going to the programs there. Always enjoyable evening!
The young man that imitated Elvis Presley was amazing he had all the moves the voice was spot-on he sound just like Elvis young and just fantastic we really enjoyed the evening it was great
Everyone was friendly went to see The Book Club, great movie. Enjoyed seeing it there cause I had a beer too! Could just chill.
I walked by this establishment today, and asked the man working if the concession stand was open to the public (those that are not opting to view the show) he responded rudely, dismissively and was terribly condescending. I have always wanted to see a show in this venue, however after this experience, I will never attend one. I have told the entire group of people that journeyed with me to Nashville today to not go to this establishment. If this is the type of employees they hire, or if the owner behaves in this manner, I am left puzzled as to how anyone could enjoy a moment in their presence. I will be sure to walk quickly by this venue my next time in Nashville, as the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I give my experience with the staff today "two thumbs down!" --
People friendly, seats comfortable, shows current.; great place for a small town venue
It was great. Comfortable. Excellent movie. Refreshments. Bargain and convenient.
Enjoyed the show very much, not a bad seat in the house
