Lovely facility, comfortable seats, but audience clueless. Talking, noisy eating (who thought it was a good idea to allow food?) not helped by lack of usher presence. The concept of shut up and pay attention apparently not universal in Broward County.

Belinda Smiths. Is the closest thing I've seen to Whitney Houston. International band and back up dancers they were absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately only one show in ft. Lauderdale. Very enjoyable show. My very wonderful and generous friend Debbie treated Nancy and myself to second rowe orchestra seats. Great night!

I love the place and the convenience to get from the parking lot to the main building. The crew and the staff are amazing, courteous and very helpful. However, I found the chairs to be not as comfortable as I would like them to be especially when I was contemplating the Opera. This is why I didn't rated it with five stars. It won't hurt to invest I need more comfortable seating experience do enjoy the show.

My husband and I attended the Miami city ballet's performance of the nutcracker here. I didn't want to spend a ton of money and ended up with seats about 10-15 rows from the top in the balcony for less than 30 each. The setup is so well done that I ended up forgetting how far we were from the stage because the view was still fantastic. Of course the talent of the dancers had something to do with that as well but I do think the interior is well designed. The sound was really nice, the seats were comfortable, the bar prices were reasonable compared to most places with a captive customer base. We also were able to stand on a lovely outdoor balcony during intermission. Parking was in a structure right across the street, very reasonably priced and organized so there were no traffic jams on the way in or out. I just generally thought the building and the landscaping were really beautiful and made the evening feel really formal and nice.

I had a fabulous time at the broward performing art center. However the no drink policy in the theater is beyond ridiculous. We spent $42 on drinks just to be told by a friendly Usher we couldn't bring them inside. I understand you want to keep the theater clean but it would have been nice if the bartender told us ahead of time

Very nice place with the feel of small cozy venue with a surprising amount of seating. It rained as we were exiting and getting across the sky bridge to the parking lot was a bit of a challenge.

Beautiful building, good seats. Most of the ushers and workers are friendly, but I had a bad experience with one woman in particular selling food. Very snooty and rude. But overall a good experience.

Love being able to share my love for the theater with my children here. Always clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Valet fast and efficient. We are season ticket holders because they have the best shows in South Florida. Not Miami, not Palm Beach but ft. Lauderdale. Always a great night coming here

I see that Bob Dylan is performing here. we saw him at least 2 years ago at Nova Southeastern University. The tickets were expensive and Dylan doesn't have his voice anymore - it was very disappointing and a waste of money. Can't imagine how much worse he sounds now!!

Great place if you can get there. Went for a Saturday matinee and there was no valet or any parking garages available nearby. Had to walk 3/4 a mile to park and missed part of the show. You shouldn t have an event area without the parking structures to support the clientele .
