The professors are really rude and bothered by any attempt to ask for help. During Covid lock down my grade took a hit cause I missed an assignment while trying to reorganize my entire program at work and buy supplies. This year I was caught in a natural disaster that left me stranded in another state and my professors couldn't care less. Don t waste your time
Broward College has been the most unhelpful school I have ever tried to enroll at. I swear your better off going to Miami Dade. It seems like everyone on these phone calls and at this school are a bunch of slugs who can t even help themselves. Sorry to say that this is the worst school to enroll at. :(
If I could give this school a 0 I would. First, the people that work in administration and advising are the worst! They don t know how to speak to people and they re filled with the most nastiest attitude. I went to a real university and I have never experienced all the craziness that I ve experienced from BC. They act as if they re a high rank university. Relax, you re a community college. One would expect them to have people who are nice and male students feel welcome.
This is the absolute worst school to attend, North Campus especially. My FASFA money has been stolen, along with them telling me my classes have been covered several times and yet I am told I have a day to pay big lump sums of money from my classes several times. I had to reselect my classes three times and was told they were covered and got dropped from them cause all of a sudden nothing is covered anymore. My FASFA rewards and federal pell grant values have changed several times during a two week period and yet again told I owe more money after everything has been settled and classes have started. Online advisor rarely ever return your emails when you are in need of help along with going to the school for help everyone tells you something different to resolve the problem. This school is so disorganized and I will be attending another school next semester. This school is a headache more than its worth trying to attend for an education.
This school and staff is very horrible. You call the information is either wrong or incorrect. I can't get to the book store and financial aid is just as horrible.
Unlike other comments say that they didn't like the college and that the professors want to fail you, I can assure you that it is not true. Is a great college, small classes, you get a lot of attention, and every time I had a doubt the professors were willingly to help.
I had an appointment with this college at 10 am and they did not call me . You claim to be business professionals with so called degrees, I'm 23 years old ad a real estate professional and investor , also active duty military and I would never conduct myself in this unprofessional manner, not even an email was sent or any memo regarding that this appointment wouldn't take place. I would never do this to my clients , nor to my superiors. Where is the so called tradition and values that this college offers when it comes to business, they couldn't even get the basics right which is BE ON TIME! Start shopping colleges around don't settle for anything less.
It's a shame how much this school has gone down hill. My biggest complaint with Broward as a whole, is there administration. Talk about misinformation, I can never get a correct answer or the same answer from 2 people. Most of the staff is rude and if you call consistantly, they'll start ignoring your calls.. Broward holds students aid for well over a month after the session starts, so don't be in need of funds if you're dependent on FA. You're better going off to one of the universities or even Miami Dade with how Broward's doing.
It can be found on the upper floor of the library. There are only a few classrooms, but they are nice. The tables have plugs in them to charge your device. There are projectors available. It is often calm and a good amount of parking is available.
No stars. The most inneficient administrative group of people I have ever encounter. They solve nothing for you. Months with no answers, you get the run around, and forget about asking for a simple transript. Do not waste your money or time.
