Brookside Inn Skilled Nursing Facility Review

Really one of the best nursing facilities I've seen.

My 80 year old mother spent about a week at Brookside Inn following knee replacement. As a nurse and former director of a nursing home during her career, I was worried about what she'd think as a patient. She has high standards. She loved it! She spoke highly about the care, the staff, and really enjoyed her stay. They worked well with us to get her admitted quickly and helped us with the admissions paperwork to the best of their ability.

Although the building is a bit older, it is clean and kept up but most importantly.....the care is UNMATCHED! I have had several family members at other facilities and the care at the newer, fancier buildings could not compare to the compassionate care at Brookside. Call lights are answered in a timely manner, the majority of staff have been there a long time and staff and residents smile and are happy! Any concerns or issues that came up were addressed in a timely manner. The facility is locally owned and the caring owners are in the building almost daily.

Their left side doesn't talk to the right. Their Senior Nursing Staff holds no empathy to families during covid. They were truly a disappoint to deal with during our family member's last days. Even to the point of denying visits just hours before passing. My mother in law was not even allowed to be at her mother's bedside during her last breath. Disgraceful.

I love the care that my great aunt receives at BSI. The staff is awesome!

We moved Jack, my brother-in-law, to Brookside Inn several weeks ago as he needed rehab. Due to the irreversible effects of his ailments, he was transferred to long-term care and ultimately to hospice care. During his time there, he receive incredible professional and compassionate care and felt the staff were "his angels." He relished the food and got along well with the other residents.

We felt that from top to bottom the staff was awesome and made us feel part of their family. An A++++ rating from us!

Amazing care,wonderful staff and got my mom walking again after she fell at home and broke her hip. I'm so thankful she went to BSI for her post hospital rehabilitation

This place is not the place to work at if you are a man. I have no issues working with or for women but BSI top boss has no problem letting a person (man) know its all about the women employed by her that matters. The women are sneaky, and childish to some degree.
