Very well kept center. Police on site and it may be packed at times of concerts. The food is way too pricey but hey, it's an OK place.

This is specifically as set up for hockey. We sat in section 102, and a good 1/4 of the ice is obstructed from view. I've been to venues with pillars etc, but usually could shift from side to side to accommodate. There is nothing you can do about the seats kind of overhanging the ice aside from using the screens, and swapping from screen to ice is really annoying.
A fine concert venue with decent acoustics and extensive train access.
Easy to get to, its clean, employees are helpful & friendly.
Really nice and clean. We went to sesame street live and it was an awesome time.
It was my first time at the Barclay's center it was OK but the show was great
New stadium that has pretty much all of the expected amenities you would come to expect, though I did appreciate the fact that they had multiple carts that also sold alcohol to alleviate long lines. Lot of foot traffic right around the stadium due its placement being surrounded by shops and restaurants. I sat in the lower 200s section for a Nets game and still found them to be really good seats to watch the game.
Awful place, horrible seats designed for kindergarten children, not enough restrooms and 45 bucks for two hot dogs and two sodas. Eff Barclays, I will never spend another penny in that arena or Nassau coliseum. Madison square garden will always be number one.
LOVE Marc Anthony!!! My Birthday Gift from My SON!!! My Idol!!! WHAT A Performance!!! LOVE Marc Anthony!!!! THE Best!!! GOD BLESS him AND His Talent!!! XOXO
May be centrally located for Brooklynites but for someone from Queens (like me), getting to and from this place is a real pain, especially late at night. There is very little parking around here, so take mass transit.
Had a great time. Easy to get to and the venue is top notch.
Great new arena, good concession options. The piped in cologne smell is terrible though.
The seats were so tight. I hurt my knees and I'm average height. The sound system was horrible for the R&B ladies night concert. There was weed smoke everywhere. I won't return there again.
Event staff great. Can be hard to find public transportation afterward but that's understandable. Prices steep for food and drink, also understandable. Seats are great though, not a bad seat in the arena.
I have been there for basketball games and concerts it a great venue.
Easy access, not usually overcrowded and very close to the transportation system. The train station is just right outside the Center.
EXCELLENT PLACE FOR SPORTS GAMES, CONVENTIONS & SPECIAL EVENTS & EASY TO GET TO. TAKE THE NYCT SUBWAY: 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q & R TRAINS TO ATLANTIC AVENUE-BARCLAYS OR LIRR (LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD) TO ATLANTIC TERMINAL.
Was there with three generations of family members and we all enjoyed the Salsa Festival.
Parking is very hard even with the garages because they charge outrageously when there is an event. To me the high seats you cant see anything and the setup is crazy. Must have lower level seats in my opinion.
The show was good but seats were to tight and there was no leg room.
Forget Madison Square whatever this is a much better location to go to. All the seats are excellent and comfortable for tall or short people. Love the view from the seats as no one is in front of you in the higher levels.
Seats are very narrow. Everything else was pretty good.
Great staff and space. Needs a little more concession stands. Waited on line for 20mins.
Better spend money for non nosebleed seats. Too afraid to move during the concert. People were falling over one another
Had a brilliant experience at an MBA game, Chicago Bulls v Brooklyn Nets. The atmosphere was excellent at a reasonable price. Food was a bit pricey but that's just New York in general. Would definitely do this again if I came back.
A great big arena in downtown Brooklyn with Nets basketball and all manner of music. Sound is Ok for an arena which is not saying much.
First time visiting will definitely be back. Nice staff, clean bathrooms and convenient to public transportation. Pricey food and drinks, but that's to be expected in NYC.
It has a cinder block meditation center, it hosts the Ringling Barnum Bailey Circus on ice...you barely notice how it wedges its stadium size atop a rail yard
I saw Barbra Streisand there last night... surely i could have gone to McDonalds to see here and had an awesome time (understatement). However, she was Back to Brooklyn at the Barclays. and oh what a venue to come home to. first off, the train runs right in front of this joint!! cool man. making getting there a breeze, even for a Houston, TX tourist like me. second, out side the place their employees were abundant and easy to spot and eager to answer all questions! and that's not all these aren't, yeah, go over there and you'll see it answers. these were yes ma'am, its over there and I'll take you straight to it answers. AWESOME! clean, easy to navigate once u are inside, gads of food (same pumped priced stadium price, as any other), no bad seat..... amazing! i so enjoyed my event at the barclays... great addition Brooklyn! GO NETS!
Horrible Experience, People behind the bar should be fired !
Clean, spacious. Food is ridiculously overpriced though as expected.
Stars and Strings show was a great show. Thanks 94.7 NASH FM
This review is mainly about the 40/40 restaurant located at the Barclays .............. My wife and I went in to have dinner at the 40/40 restaurant and see an Islanders game. I found it extremely hard to find anything online about the restaurant and calling the reservation # gets nothing but a recorded message. In fact I found that calling all numbers for any dept. at Barclays Center gets a very pleasant recorded massage referring you to their website. Their website was not much help either. We had very little hope and made backup plans to eat somewhere on 5th Ave. The backup plans were mainly due to the lack of info available about the place. Now, having said that, once we were at Barclays Center things started to become evident and fall into place. At the end of it all our entire evening was outstanding !
Here's the lowdown on 40/40:
-They open an hour before the event, so don't waste your time getting there earlier than that.
- It is buffet style eating, with no real menu to choose from so you won't find one online. Think wedding reception with both hot and cold foods, a carving station, desert station, etc... The night I was there (1/22/2017) it was $50 a person but prices may vary according to the event venue.
- Seating choices are plentiful and our table had a nice view of the ice too :-)
- Servers bring plates to your table and you help yourself to the options as many times as you want. Everything we tried was very good and everyone we interacted with at the restaurant was pleasant and helpful.
- - - - I hope this helps and I would absolutely recommend eating here !!
Great venue, absolutely massive, easily accessible via subway but WAY overpriced.
Watch a playoff at NYC is priceless. The stadium is gorgeous, very conveniently located. My sit wasn't one of the most expensive but even so I have no problems to enjoy the game.
Barclay's Center is a huge arena for sports games and entertainment. The staff is cool and progressive. They make sure everything moves quickly
Went to this place twice for the concerts. I put three stars because when you spend more money on better tickets but all your family seats on chairs that were added at the bottom of arena and you can't see artist, I don't see the point in spending more money then on upper build-in seats where you can see over everyone's heads. Maybe if you have 4 raw seats but there are 30 raws of seats or more added. You can't even see at the raw 25 because yoi are on the same level. It seamed like sound engineers cranked the sound so high that it was distorted at which point it didn't sound good for the space we were in but it also was very loud. Hey, I am not an old lady and I like loud music but when it is proportional the space it needs to fill.
By far one of my favorite places to go to for a concert. This arena is great and the staff is very professional and friendly.
There s many things to do around the area while you wait for your event. Drinks at the location could be at a better price. But overall it s a good experience.
Great place for concerts but the food spots are way too slow in preparing tge food. I waited over 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich. That's ridiculous
Love the arena...team needs to start winning though
I love Brooklyn this area has everything in walking distance
What an amazing job they've done on this venue. It's clean, bright, the staff is so nice and welcoming - you'd think that they were trained by Disney. Food choices are more varied than in other venues. However the food concessions do get backed up and after you pay it can be a very long wait - so much so if you hadn't already paid - you might have thrown in the towel. I note food and snack prices are absurdly high, and can kill the good time you were having if you are cost conscious. It's a great building to see a show in - too bad it's such a trek to get to for some of us. I do however really like going there.
It's a nice stadium and does a decent job with the Brooklyn Nets games. However, Islanders games are not well structured. The stadium is clearly not built for hockey, which I think is a huge oversight given that an NHL team is playing there.
The security was on point they found a little lost girl and surrounded her like a mother hen until they found her rightful family member awesome staff
Fantastic venue, great people and atmosphere, good facilities =)
Any seats is good in this arena because of how the layout is. I went to see The Nets play the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was a very lively experience and great to watch LeBron play.
The place is amazing, is cozy and big... I was really happy there.
Great place!!! A beautiful arenas. Had a great time with my friends, came to see RINGLING BROS. AND BARNUM & BAILEY PRESENTS OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Watched the ice hockey, great experience for an international visitor.
Tidal and Barclays is a big sham. I bought two tickets for a concert a couple of weeks ago for "Criminal Reform" but they didnt want to accept electronic tickets that "Tidal" gave as conformation. I had to pay 10 cash to get the tickets "printed" so they can "scan" them for entry. Whats so "Funny" is Jay_z, Tidal and Barclays said "All proceeds from TICKET SALES WOULD BE DONATED TO CRIMINAL REFORM" so i thought i was doing a good deed. Then i realized all the "EXTRA CASH" the "paper printer people" made because i seen all the cash and credit card purchases they made_ I " Bet" that money "DIDN'T GO TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM. FACTS. SMH. JUST THE SAME OLD CORPORATE DIRTY TACTICS.
Very nice and new venue. I went here for a basketball game and it was nice and organized but the food and drinks are very expensive.
Nothing compared to msg, if you get cheap seats prepare to confront your fear of heights
