I recently graduated Bronx Science and I can easily say that my time there has been extremely influential on the person I have become today. The administration isnt the best and at times the hour long trip to the Bronx wasnt always my favorite thing to do, however, the community is amazing. The school has a sense of togetherness that no other community has. The teachers and students alike make the building more than just a school. GO HERE!

Although there is stress and pressure put on the students, this place is an enriching and great school. Everybody truly cares about their education and the people are easy to get along with. Although there is competition between the students, it is a friendly one that motivates the students to challenge themselves and excel.
Despite all the atrocious reviews on this facility, any individual that is able to critically analyze certain conundrums will conclude that this school is extremely high ranked. Some may suggest that this institute lacks motivational instructors. However, as a high ranking school; not to mention the required entrance exam, it is highly unlikely for a student to fail this expectation of self-study. The reviews suggest that the past withdrawals did not seem to meet this forecast. Furthermore, they did not think of anything else but to deem the establishment with dull evaluations such as "what a bad school" and much more ineffectual criticisms. Personally, my experiences in this school were quite opposed to the inimical reviews. I met an association of Asian Americans, mostly Chinese, and to this very day, we are still companions. Despite all the other reviews, including this one, one should always try things out for themselves.
Extremely good school. Has very good teacher but the workload is a lot if you are not prepared. Don't listen to the people who put 1 star. Obviously they couldn't get in...
Ah, Bronx Science. It was one of the most competitive places to go to school, socially, academically, and in many other ways, but strangely, the moment I graduated, I thought to myself, "Dam, that was fun! I would do it all over again and not change a thing."
This is a school with a stellar academic history. On of the specialty schools (entrance test required) in NYC, for many years some of it's students always won the Westinghouse Science Scholarship. My son went there and it was a great school. The list of famous grads is impressive.
I was motivated to become a teacher because of the incredible teachers I had at the school from 1966-1969. I'm about to retire, but my success as a teacher was greatly influenced by various science teachers...Ms. Berman, Ms. Jacobson, Mr. Kopelman, and Mr. Walsh. Go check my reviews on RateMyTeacher; I owe a lot to these people and many others.
