Bromey Council - Bromley Drainage Reviews

I think the opening picture when I type in Bromley Council into google accurately portrays the level that they operate on. That is, several overflowing bins (the organisation) with rubbish peppered on the surrounding floor (its workforce).

Whatever you are expecting from this government affiliation- halve it and then prepare yourself to be chased for money, letters and the holy grail before they chalk it up to administration and clerical issues.

There is a search bar in your outlook or whichever email application you use (perhaps Windows 95?) and if you type in what you are after, it generally will convey a list of all relevant emails. Try it sometime- it may help.

I can only assume the .6 from the 1.6* they currently possess is from employees of the council, who could not even muster the willpower to give more than a 2* review as that is what they call treason in the modern world.

When will we be receiving our council tax discounts for Bromley council failing to grit roads and pavements this winter then failing to collect refuse and recycling for 3 weeks because said pavements were too icy and dangerous? Local residents were left to their own devices, many slipping and injuring themselves. A less than useless council.

I am out of carrots. I am out of sticks. Bromley council has time and again proven themselves to be unable to reply to emails and answer questions regarding the basic duties of their organisation. I recommend a significantly long, hard look at the lazy culture their business continues to subscribe to.

Update: disgusted and appalled to see that the cost of Council Tax has increased by 6%. In a year when people are struggling and the efforts of the police force/cleaning have been minimised, I cannot see what excuse there is for this. Not to mention, their call centre which is completely broken.

They should honestly be ashamed of themselves.

Glad to see there is still some integrity left on the internet, with a well-deserved rating of 1.6. Where to start... The last time I saw an organisation as mismanaged as Bromley Council Tax, was my grandson's snowball company, so you'll excuse me if I am disappointed with this level of service.

There is no record keeping, no accountability and no desire to provide a sound working model of business.

Always had a pleasant experience dealing with the Council in the past three years, from reporting a missed collection to fixing street lighting. I don t understand why the overall rating is so low as I am very happy and grateful for living in the Borough of Bromley.

When I had a plastic & glass recycling collection, my wheelie bin disappeared,
it was not taken by a neighbour as I have spoken to all in my cul de sac.
I have reported this twice to the council with no reply.
This is a bought wheelie bin as I have a back issue and cannot use the silly boxes .

Easily the worst council in London. No person emplyed by Bromley has any idea how to do their job or any desire to learn.

It doesn't matter which department you contact and for what reason, they will be useless, aggressive and, at best they will simply stop contacting you without doing anything, at worst they will make things so much worse for you.

Without a doubt it is the worst council in Greater London. Recycling bins have not been collected for 3 weeks. Paying council tax to this failed council would be a crime.

Council tax has increased a lot since last year and services remain poor! I m very disappointed with Bromley Council. Also, struggling with my bin collection. It has been 3 weeks that they don t collect my bin! Awful!

Inept! I contacted Bromley council on 23 April 2021 and reported a serious incident that occurred at a property I own, and they offer on their housing list via Orchard & Shipman.

This incident was investigated by the Metropolitan Police.
It's now the 4th May 2021 and not a single response from any member of their staff.

This just shows the total disregard and arrogance this council have for the people in this borough.
