Museum was nice, but be prepared to make several reservations. One to get 1, one to see and special exhibits, and one to see the infinity room. General admission tickets usually take about a month to get for Saturdays. Went only to discover I needed separate reservations for the other exhibits, which were completely sold.out for the day. Was disapppointed. Go to the Moca. Not as polished, but more in line with the art museum experience...

This museum doesn't have as large of an art collection as museums such as the Norton Simon Museum, but it's definitely still worth going to considering they have artworks from contemporary artists such as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Cindy Sherman, and Takashi Murakami. A must for fans of contemporary art and pop art. Also, guess what's the best part? Admissions are free!!

I am glad it was free, because there isn't much to it and I would have felt ripped off if I paid. There was one exceptionally nice staff member. The ticket taker was nice. But there were three really rude staff members that don't seem to have been trained to speak professionally. We spent a lot of time looking for parking because the lot was full. We never found street parking, but eventually they opened the lot. In the lot they take your keys. Nobody tells you you're going to need to validate parking so make sure you do that before you head back down to parking. We weren't the only ones who had to backtrack to find someone to validate. There really aren't a whole lot of exhibits. I would say LACMA and both Getty museums are far more superior and worth the time and effort.

I give this place 5 stars for the way it's run. The customer service is on point with a very smooth, painless system to try to get all visitors in to see the Mirrored Infinity Room! My friends and I stood in line at 9 am before its 10 am opening on Saturday. We were in the free general admission line. (I recommend reserving tickets online before coming to save you some time). At 10 am they let in all the people in the reserved line first and we were im by 10:15 am. Immediately, we signed up for the Infinity Mirror and we had a 107 minute wait. Basically, until we got the text to go to the room, we saw the rest of the museum so it was super time-efficient. Overall, I think I realized I'm not the biggest fan of contemporary art. There were some awesome pieces, but I mostly didn't get a lot of them (personal opinion). I probably wouldn't go back, but the Infinity room was definitely awesome.

Incredible Museum !!! Wooooow !!! It is advisable to make an appointment in advance, so you do not have to train. And I highly recommend taking the tours. The museum has no cost. The building itself is a work of art.

Brilliant display of modern representations of varied types of art. A must see place for tourists. Entry is free. If you reserve online on their website you can avoid standing in a long queue to get inside. Some of the displays are permanent but some keep changing.

You should pay a visit if you live in Southern California. Its worth going to because you're only responsible for parking fee thats $15 for 3 hours (which I think is more than enough) and your tickets are free as long as you reserve them online prior to your visit. Its located in DTLA right next to Disney Concert Hall so it really is not that difficult to locate this place. For parking, enter from the 2nd street and you will see the parking structure located right beneath The Broad. In most cases, you will double park and leave the keys with the designated parking area. He gives you a ticket and keep it so you can get your keys when you return. So that was all your how-to and the premise itself isnt too big honestly. Nothing on the second floor besides the administrative office & restrooms. Third floor is really the only floor. Compared to other museums I have gone to, it is small and not much to see. However, there are some arts that catches your attention and thats probably why people come. First floor usually has some temporary exhibitions where you have to register and wait at least 50 mins to an hour to enjoy 40 seconds of it. Is it worth it? I guess it depends on the each individual. All in all, I had a good time. Unless they hold exhibitions that I am interested in near future, I probably wont be coming back too soon again because I have seen it all. But it IS a cool place to look at art pieces if youre into them or like anyone else who comes for the IG pictures. I am not one of them but it looks fun to take pictures. I just dont have guts to pose in front of tons of people I dont know. I just...cant.

All right, make sure to go one at a time. I recommend it. It's good for dating places, too. Visit with your family. It's free. You can sign up for an email online. You can check your e-mail at the entrance. There's an entrance line, but they usually wait about ten. Also, this is a good place to take pictures. It usually takes an hour and a half to see here once. It was open on the first floor and the second floor. Check the time before you go. I recommend strip parking lot. It's hard to park when there are a lot of people. I think it would be convenient to park nearby and walk back. There are the most people on weekends. Keep that in mind. I hope my review helps you. please Click Like My Photos and Videos. Tanks

Put The Broad on your must visit Museum in Los Angeles. Not only is the main exhibit floor architecturally awesome, the collection of artwork, sculptures and experiences is beautifully inspiring. The best part: It s free! Just reserve ahead of time. It will be a most memorable visit!

Art is a scam, all the hype for nothing. Im lowering the stars to help the next person out. Nothing spectacular about most of these paintings, but the experience was good enough for me, I'm sure you art lovers would enjoy it. Free to get in, park across the street at the structure its 10 dollars all day so you could also visit the Walt Disney concert hall which is next door.

Excellent museum of modern art, free. Tickets must be booked at least 2 months in advance, but it is also possible to go directly and try to get there at the moment. It is covered in 1 hour and a half.

The broad is a must see contemporary gallery in LA, next to LACMA, in my opinion. I always love to see their jenny saville paintings. try and get park across the street down the hill, it's about 7-10 dollars and a 2-3 min walk

The Broad is a very nice contemporary art museum. Their permanent collection is beautiful and is nicely laid out in the open architecture of the building. Entry is free but you need to reserve tickets ahead of time. I have also been able to walk in on less busy days only after standing in line. You can spend about two hours in The Broad to see everything.

A beautiful museum with a variety of artists and works. The tickets are free but I also ordered them in advance online. The employees are really friendly and the pieces are interesting. If you want to see the Yayoi kusama exhibit you have to register and most likely wait in line. It s a 45 seconds in the room and max is 4 people in the room. Enjoy it while it lasts !

March 2019 Impressive current international art. Great guided tours to special topics of dedicated young students. Unfortunately, the exhibition was just changed in the lower area, as almost every year at the time. So plan well.

Nice museum to stop by and see some stuff! Get tickets in advance, though. The queues can be very long! Was disappointed that the infinity room was already fully booked when we arrived at twelve.

Awesome contemporary art museum. I've tried to make an online reservation but all the Saturday slots were all booked so I tried the standby line. I've arrived at around 11am and expected a really long line but within 20 minutes I was able to enter. And indeed entrance was free. You can park at the Bank of America Plaza (3rd St) for USD 10 flat rate (at least on Saturday).

It has very important contemporary works by Koons, Kusama, Warhool, etc., a good day to spend in the museum. If you want to go to the installation of Kusama "infinity mirrors" you must sign up to have an exact time and thus appreciate well without setbacks.

Super fun and high quality museum! Can't believe we got in for free, all we did was wait in the free line for about 20 min then made it in no problem! I like Murakami's work in particular and there are two large paintings of his right on the first level. There was also a really fun mirror and light thing that I waited in line to see, which was nice because I believe there is a bigger version of it somewhere in the museum that was not available to us! Really happy we came here on our trip!

Beautiful museum. Not sure if the 2+ hour wait outside was worth it, but totally fine if you have reservations/tickets (which are free for regular admission, cost for special exhibits).

Its worth it coming here alone or with a group of friends. Make sure your camera battery is charged and there are stairs to walk up and a walk around the place is a bit of cardio.

I came for the Infinity Room (the wait was worth it because I came right when it opened and has a reservation). Took about 45 minutes after opening to get in. And stayed for the art. There are three floors of art and tons of pop art goodness! Great to bring friends and explore.

I arrived around 4:00pm and got in around 10 minutes later. The expositions here are nice and intresting, you can spend here around one hour. The infinite light mirror room is nice, make sure the first thing you do when you come is to save an hour to get into the mirror room (you have to register your name). If you arrive in the afternoon like 4 or 5 you won't have to be waiting in line so much time.

You will find some very interesting art at The Broad. Entrance to the museum is free but parking cost $15 and if you're interested in observing the galaxy room you need to RSVP a spot once inside. Overall had a great time and plan on coming back again.

What an incredible museum! Had no idea the collection was this level - Warhol's, Lichtenstein, Haring, Basquiat, Jasper Johns. And the most famous of their works. The layout of the museum is smart, museum collections upstairs. You ascend on an escalator that envelopes you like a cave or tunnel then opens up to a well lit open room with amazing art. The first floor houses the gift shop and special exhibits. It's free to the public, which is super cool. But do yourself a favor and reserve your spot online. They do take standby/walk ins but the line is long. Disney Hall is literally right next door and there are two very good (pricey but nice) restaurants adjacent. Highly recommend.

Fantastic. Free entry. Just get in early to avoid queuing for entry, and sign up for the special exhibitions on the iPads near the staff as soon as you can, then go explore the rest of the museum. The artwork was wonderful and interesting, and the Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirror Rooms were incredible. Would highly recommend going. Wonderful staff too.
