British Telecom (Martlesham Heath) Reviews

Visited for a CrumbleBot Taster Day as part of the BT Schools outreach programme. Had to provide names of all children and adults weeks in advance, and unnamed children (siblings in the back of a car dropping off one of our party) were not allowed in, so ensure you comply with the security protocol to gain access. But once you are in, the site is well signposted and all staff are friendly. Do not expect to have access to all areas - the security is tight for a good reason - but you will feel welcome for your event.

BT technical hub. Showcase of future ideas is eye opener.

Great place to be based as a business, easy access to the A12/A14 and some great on-site facilities including restaurant, gym, sports hall and more.

Have got my office here. The campus is vast and beautiful.

Fabulous innovation centre filled with lots of interesting and exciting technology ideas. We were hosted in the Halley 1 suite just a shirt walk from reception. Comfortably seated 20 of us. Large display screen for PowerPoint presentations along with large conference table. Room was light and airy. Through the doors were tea and coffees and a small lunch selection provided.
We were given several talks from a few different representatives before being taken on the showcase tour after lunch.
Theres a lot to take in initially. Rooms/locations are set up in a "studio" like effect (similar to IKEA if you've ever been) including home, hospital,banking,industry, door security and shopping. These were the areas we were shown but looked there were a few more.
Felt the tour could have incorporated a more hands on approach as was just talked to about the products rather than testing them ourselves.
The tour is flat all the way round making it suitable for wheelchairs and there are wheelchair accessible toilets.
Parking was a small visitor parking area, arriving at 09:00 and there were still spaces and we had to register for a visitors badge on entry.
Overall insightful place to visit and is hosted well by BT.
It gave our teams lots of food for thought.

I attended the 100th Service of Remembrance here. We will never forget.

A friendly place for foreigners. Providing help. Fast and efficient loading. Ramp for large and small cars. Nice place.

A lot of famous companies in Telecom are in one place.

A very large business park, mainly housing BT, but also other companies. The office space is rented at discounted rates for innovation driven businesses. There's free buses running from and to the Ipswich train station.

Dull place. Every thing looks robotic. No fun when I was there. Don't think I will ever go there again.

BT global headquarters. Very beautiful facility and great staff. Good place to work

Two days experience at BT's hot house facility was expertly hosted and organised. Huge value to Headway Suffolk.

A hub of intelligence and friendly people. Driving lessons are available from this location.

BT's technology park. Most of the innovations we'll see in the field of telecommunications in the next year are developed here.

Main landmark for ipswich.main data center of bt.enitre Ipswich location depends on adastral park as major workers and different company contractors are working there.its totally information technology park located in outskirts of ipswich.entirelyowned by BT it seems.not allowed for regular visitor s unless you have appointments and permission

I visited here for an assessment centre and loved it.

Great tech hub for BT and its partners feels like an actual campus

My place of work at BT.Beautiful with nice working office space, labs surrounded by woodlands, greenery, canteen and sport facilities. It feels also proud to work there
