Brighter Day Natural Foods Review

I love this place. They have anything that's organic or healthy that you can think of. From the food to skin care products to the juices/smoothies they sell. The store is well run.

Love it, love it, love it. Great stock. You can find all kinds of fresh organic foods or vitamins that you need here.Great prepared foods....try the turkey sandwich with avocado and other healthy stuff. Such an awesome shopping experience. It's worth the wait to find a parking spot.

Such a refreshing spot to pick up grocery necessities. My favorite parts are definitely the tea wall and chocolate covered ginger on the other side.

Excellent selection of natural food items. Great deli with fantastic soups and sandwiches. Very reasonable prices.

Great location, selection, and staff. Prices were even cheaper than Whole Foods, and the selection was more specialized. Highly recommend this place to any vegan/vegetarian/clean eaters.

Great store for finding natural food and health items. Very easy to find some harder to find health items that we needed. The staff was probably what you would expect from a health store, but a little slow. Prices are on the high side due to the organic nature of the items.

Love the variety of products. Bought vegan cheese and it taste better than regular cheese.

This store is my favorite place to go while visiting downtown. The staff is friendly, informative, polite and helpful. They have a great selection of books so I advise not to skip out on that little shelf beside the counter.

I absolutely love this place. A lot of VEGAN products and a variety of Organic produce. Prices are really good too.

Best health food & herbal supplements store in Savannah, Ga. The staff is very knowledgeable in many areas of herbal heath. They make a salmon salad out of yjis world..

Exceptional knowledge of all kinds of alternative health needs. Good food and extremely friendly people. Peter and Janie have done an extraordinary job over decades to bring Savannah a great health food store. We've known them for most of our lives and enjoy visiting when we're in town. They are community minded and operate a very successful business here. Busy place so be prepared for lots of activity in the store.

Great store for natural supplements and remedies and healthy food!

We got really awesome service here, we never had gone to a store that does bulk buying using your own containers so we were kind of at a loss. They weighed our containers before and then subtracted that, and everything came out to super reasonable price! Great granola, ate the French vanilla in a day.

Great selection and manageable prices. Their kombucha was delicious.

Something for everyone. Clean eating deli, freezer section, bulk bins, dry herbs, homeopathic products, natural & organic toiletries, organic groceries of all kinds. Staff available to answer questions. They also host informational presentations. Always a treat to stop in.

The prices can be a bit steep, but the products and customer service makes up for it somewhat.

If you haven't tried the vegan brownies you MUST!! BUT get there early on Monday you maybe out of luck if you wait until Tuesday. By the way its Pumpkin bread on Wednesday. My next venture.

Most things are more on the pricey side but when something is on sale, it s a really good sale!

A great place to find organic, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free foods and any sort of supplement you might want.

Very cool store to have within walking distance. I wish they would have a few recipes by the door that explain what to buy and how how to prepare it. That would boost sales and teach some newbies a few good healthy meals to make using items they sell.

quite pricey on a few products. you can get 100ct of supplement bottle online but for this store at the same price are only a 30ct.... major difference... is worth that much for the convenience? otherwise i would buy these religiously from this store

This is a well-stocked Health-Food Store that has knowledgeable employees in Herbal & Homeopathic/Naturopathic remedies for common ailments and for healthier living.

After searching the shelves & chatting with two very nice employees, I was able to find a Homeopathic remedy here to help me naturally treat my PTSD & Grieving-Depression from my cat dying in my arms on Sept 17th:

It's Boiron "Sepia #30c for Mood-Swings", and it actually worked far better than regular St John's Wort Veggie-Capsules that I got from another store! Usually four-to-six little pellets under my tongue to slowly dissolve, up to three times a day AS NEEDED, does the trick.

I always prefer to treat health-issues with natural remedies than with Pharmaceutical Prescriptions that often create damage to some OTHER body part, while curing you from your ORIGINAL ailment!

Anyway, go check out Brighter Day. There's something great there for everyone!

Great customer service and great selection of organics food.

All kinds of goodies-food, supplements, bulk items, non toxic beauty and cleaning products. Love it.

They have very good selection of organic food, people are very friendly and if they don't have the idems, they will order them for you and call you so you can come and get them. Love it!

The products are great. The cashiers are polite. The deli workers its a 50/50. Some of them seem very pretentious or like their job is an inconvenience. I asked for a drink today and the girls behind the counter snickered. I always get a certain drink that requires a larger cup. I asked for extra product in it and did not get it.. I frequent here and have had them tell me they closed at 4pm when the sign for the deli says 5. I'm so sorry you have to work at work... hopefully something makes you have a brighter day* next time.

The best for anything that ails you, and great sandwiches and juice bar. This is a wonderful business with an integral role in the community!

Very clean store, great selection of great quality items at very competitive pricing. Produce can be at a premium but your also buying premium quality produce. Many of the Vegan options are actually better priced than at the larger food chains. The staff, they are always polite and extremely helpful. Very cramped space to fit all that selection. Great for quick visits once you know the store. I found everything I was looking for and more. I had 2 Small strollers and a few customers and you can barely get around. You can't go wrong.

The cashier Maxine was excellent with providing product details and suggestions to one guess ( who was already being helped by another cashier )

... so I stood patiently waiting for one of the cashiers to become free from discussion (of a item that wasn t in stock. )

While waiting patiently at the counter Maxine approached .... never looking up to acknowledge me or ask me did I find everything okay... she continued with the previous conversation....

The cashier rung up all my items gave me my total (by this time the previous Customer was no longer in the store ) ..... I paid the total .... After paying Maxine held my receipt and asked do you want this ? ...

For a second I was confused because she and I where already in mid exchange of the receipt. But I simply replied yes

Maxine handed over the receipt and walked off.

I was actually kind of shocked ... so I stuff still for a sec and reviewed my recipe.... and thought about my experience ..

There was no thank you have a nice day ... thank you good night nothing she just walked off.....

Now usually I don t let things like this bother me but seeing that I just waited and watched Maxine s exceptional customer service skills with the pervious customer ...

I wondered if her lack of eye to eye contact, assistance...or even a simple thank you had anything to the difference in appearance of me and the previous customer ....

I usually love going to brighter day. I have suggested brighter day to my family friends and co-workers. My experience is usually a great one. I m usually greeted at the door with a hello or welcome , someone is almost always available to assist me and during check out I m asked if I was able to find everything and given a thank you once I have purchased my items .

I understand everyday is not the best for people but Unfortunately today s customer service for me was Definitely upsetting.

Since I knew it was later in the day and a manager might not have been around I wanted to provide the cashier Maxine with some advice.

So I asked the cashier if I could get her my feed back and I told her that it would be nice in the future if you would acknowledge the person purchasing items .... a simple thank you or have a good night would do wonders ...

Maxine replied ... oh okay, well I m sorry about that BUT you where on the phone

I advise the cashier Maxine although I did have my phone to my ear my conversation was paused during the time of transaction and I don t find that me bring in the phone a good excuse for not trying to do your best with every customer.

I pointed out the two things she said to me (my total and do you want this ) those where the only words that where spoken from the time I walked in to the time I walked out ....

I honestly don t feel like Maxine actually understands how important customer service skills are and how no matter what you think someone is doing everyone is always paying attention and expecting the same great service when they are paying the same price.

I hope customer service does not continue to be like this here at brighter day ...
