Bridgton Sports Camp Review

There are too many good things to say about this camp. I've been attending Bridgton Sports Camp since the inaugural summer in 2011, and ever since I've came back each summer and had the time of my life. It's great to meet new friends, make new memories and improve your athletic abilities all at the same time. If you are thinking about sending a son, family friend, or anyone to this camp, you don't need to second guess yourself. This place is amazing. Highly recommended.

When my son was 9 years old he had the chance to goto Bridgton Sports Camp during it's inaugural summer of 2011. It was an experience that exceeded all of our expectations. He loved everything about it, the camaraderie, the sports, the staff, the facilities and the activities. Each year at the end of camp he begins looking forward to the next summer when he can return to BSC. The past 2 summers he majored in hockey and upon his return his fellow teammates and coaches (locally) were shocked at the progress he had made in his hockey game. The hockey staff at BSC worked the kids hard and as a result they grew and became better players - it was a win-win-win. He loved his time on the ice and off-ice he enjoyed all of the other programming BSC had to offer. Can't wait for the summer of 2014!

For the first time ever my 9 year old son went to sleep away camp. Picking Bridgton Sports Camp was the best camp I could have ever picked for him! He had a very difficult time being away from home and struggled for the first week. Koop and the counselors took amazing personalized care of him. They were so understanding and worked hard to make him overcome his homesickness. Trust me, this was no easy task. Before I knew it, he was having the time of his life! He loved everything he did, but mostly waterskiing, wakeboarding and color wars. He can't stop talking about what a great time he had and is trying to recruit anyone and everyone he knows to come join in the fun next year. The personalized attention Koop gives to every kid and family is amazing! I was able to breathe a sigh of relief knowing my son was in good hands. My son can't wait to go back next year with all of his friends!

My 10 year old son just got home from 3 weeks at BSC. He went knowing no other campers and came home with a list of friends and so many stories that he hasn't stopped talking since he got off the bus yesterday. He is so proud of the fact that he can now throw a baseball on an mlb diamond from the shortstop position. He seems more self confident already. He is already talking about being back next year! Thank you for a wonderful camp experience for my son.

My 12 year old went away for the first time and had an amazing experience. The camp is fantastic and he can't wait to go back!

My son loves it at Bridgton!!! He has been going for years. Everyone on staff is amazing. Kooperman has created an amazing space for the campers, the CIT s and the staff. The memories my son has lasts a lifetime and he has gotten so much.

My son started the first year BSC opened and has gone back every year since. He loves the sports, the camaraderie, the facilities, the staff and even the food! Not only does the camp provide great skill training, it provides fun as it is a camp in the true sense of the word: meeting people, creating friendships that will last a long time and lots of fond memories. My son keeps in touch with his friends year round.

My twin boys were among the first campers when Bridgton opened. I can't deny that my boys loved their experience as campers. I think there is a sincere effort that goes into making the camp experience for the boys a positive one. However, as a Mother looking at the bigger picture, there were multiple instances where staff members dropped the ball and/or promises made by management that were not kept. Unfortunately, they will not be returning this summer.

This year was the first year for my 7 and 10 yo. I couldn't even imagine that such amazing things are possible. The experience exceeded my expectations tenfold. They are begging to stay for another session. I was afraid that they'll be homesick, but they had so much productive fun that they didn't have time to get homesick. Simply amazing!!! People who are running this camp have great hearts.
