We have two children in school here and we could not be more pleased with our school. Teachers & staff go above and beyond to invest in the lives of the students. Incredibly thankful to be a Briarwood Lion.
We became Briarwood Lions in the fall of 2016 and it has been an absolute blessing! I can't imagine being part of a different community and sending our children elsewhere. The daily incorporation of God's word into every area of study is exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to Mr. Steiner, Dr. Brower, and Mrs. Holliday for leading our campuses well!
Horrible school I have been harassed by a teacher in 3rd grade tons of scandals avoid this school it s not what it used to be
Awful. I had a family issue my senior year that the Principal Jay Matthews overstepped and made the situation much worse. This school is more of a cult than an academic facility. The police officer that they employed harassed and physically assaulted students yet remained employed for some time after.
Please. If you care about your children please avoid this school.
Had some bad experiences in my five years at briarwood, I was stuck on the elevator multiple times and threatened by a teacher when I was in 3rd grade. There was also a lot of stress to memorize bible verses, some teacher even told kids in CIE that they would be taken out of they didn t know that weeks bible verse.
My daughter went here her final three years and it was life-changing for her!
The only thing I truly learned here is to doubt those who preach the loudest. Most of the time, they are just being loud to drown out the others around them.

Sweet school, 1 graduate, senior now & 8th grader. Biblical world view. Sweet & helpful staff. College prep. Curriculum for advanced&typical students. No school is perfect, but surrounded by lovely families & staff. Sports, arts, band.... nice facility.
