My team booked a full bike for a team building activity during our annual training week. We had attendees from 5 countries and everyone loved it equally. The team at BrewCycle was excellent, allowing us to book based on the time that worked best with our schedule, and swapping bars mid-route due to personal preference of those on board. While it was pouring for the entire experience, we didn't get wet while on the bike and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is now a go-to activity for our team.

a BLAST! highly recommend going with a group of 6-8 and letting the rest be strangers (cycle holds 12). it s the best environment to make new friends and memories. consider doing it for a birthday!
During our visit to Portland everyone seemed to talk about this BrewCycle program where you sit on a giant bicycle with 14 other people and ride around Portland visiting different breweries. We got lucky and booked the last two seats for an 11:30 AM ride. The meet up location was at a brewery called Back Pedal, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of Janet. She informed us a little bit about what we were about to expect and minutes later she told us to meet outside where we can sit on the bike. The greatest part of this whole thing was getting on and off the bike, each time was an experience of its own. As soon as we hit the road Janet put on some amazing songs and was a great cheerleader for us to pedal faster. Riding around the streets of Old Portland was so much fun. We got to see old historic buildings and streets along with some interesting people that kept waving and filming us. We finally got to the first brewery and it was so interesting. The beers were only $4.00 and each time we stopped everyone started mingling and getting to know each other. We had about 25 minutes at the first stop. After a couple of beers we hopped back on the bike and went to the second location. We had the absolute best time listening to great music and laughing while pedaling through the streets. The second location was an old historic building and it had turned into a pizzeria. We had some interesting flavored beers and got to know people that were with us in the group who actually live in Portland. They told us some really cool facts about the city and some amazing recommendations for restaurants. By this time it was safe to say that we were all a bit buzzed. 25 minutes later we were back on the bike and headed to the third location. As we kept peddling we would see more and more people getting excited to see us riding through town with loud music. Finally arrive to the third and final location and I had one of the best beers I ve ever had: grapefruit IPA. It was so citrusy yet bitter m yet refreshing all at the same time. After a short amount of time there we had to come back to where we started and we were all a bit sad because we did not want this tour to end. So much so that we spent about 10 minutes outside just taking photos as a group with the one and only amazing Janet. Special thanks to Janet and Andrea for organizing tours as much as fun as this one and for showing all of us a great time and keeping us safe while doing so.
I had an awesome time with my friends. We did the old town tour. There's just enough time at each location to get a pint or a couple of tastings before you're off to the next place. By the end I was pretty trashed (there may have been shots involved at one point). The tour guide, Liem, was hilarious and directed a good time.
I pay someone to let me pedal the brewcycle around and pay for my own beer at breweries I could visit on my own and I don't get to drink and ride at the same time.
Just walk and then you won't be rushed as there's barely time for a drink at each place and forget getting food unless it's something instantly ready like french fries.
What an incredible experience! We booked for a birthday and I can t think of a better way to have spent the day. Liam was so great. Entertaining, fun, and he really made the day awesome. We will 100% be back for another adventure! Highly recommend!
It was a fun and quirky experience. Lloyd was an awesome guide, he made the experience entertaining from the start. We pedaled to four different bars and breweries. Even when the streets were busy with cars, the drivers were kind and supportive giving us some cheers or waves. The tour ends at a great tap room with a good Mexican food restaurant next door. This was a memorable adventure and simply a fun way to spend an afternoon exploring around Ladd's Addition area, drinking good beers and getting some exercise!
A lot of fun! Three cool stops with good craft beer. Also met nice people from all over the country that was in our group. Only problem was that you barely have enough time to throw down one drink at each stop. Could have used about 5 more minutes at each stop. Eric was a great tour guide for conversation!
What a blast! We had the whole car for a group event. Alex was the perfect guide for our cycle. He was easy-going, fun, and very flexible with all of our moving parts. We do the cycle every year - a crowd favorite. Can't wait for next year.
Came here for my stag, interesting experience to pedal after the first stop or 2. Our guide Elise was great, one of my boys lost his wallet and she walked the route with us looking for it. Bartender also made fantastic recommendations. Recommend if you want to immediately work off the beer calories.
