This council are the most unprofessional, aggressive council I ve had to deal with. I m glad I won t ever have to deal with them again after moving from Brentwood

Since they have closed the Main Shopping Area of Brentwood, it has become a 'no go' zone for those of us with limited walking ability, they have moved all the disabled bays to one end of the high street leaving 95% of shops out of reach - thanks but no thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere and I will be asking for a Review of this matter as there is NO REASON why disabled drivers cannot be allowed to park in the normal allocated bays to access shops!
On hold for 20 minutes then they answer and hang up. The staff are RUDE and arrogant.
Customer Service is non existent. When you call in on the number they provide, they keep you on hold for 30 minutes and then just cut you off! So bad. I'd give minus stars in the review if I could.
I think people only write reviews when they have had a bad service, I have had to call the council 3 times since moving in late last year and I am yet to have a bad service, the phone is always answered really quickly (unlike London boroughs that I have had to deal with) and the people have always been really friendly and helpful! Pleasantly surprised
I think the council should consider picking up more food recycling especially for larger households where there are more people living. I would like to suggest that 2 large food waste caddy's be permitted for this.

The worse service one can come across with! It seems that I have to call them regularly to come and collect my refuse.They collect the neighbours s all right but do miss our caddy (black & blue)! Hello it s the same colour and size!! and when I call they never know why it keeps happening!?! Just do your flipping job! and try to understand why the same problems keep happening and solve them! I want to know! I wouldn t give a star (but no choice). They have such a bad attitude!
Have spent 20 minutes trying to contact the Refuse dept. Have tapped on 1,2 and 3. Got the same recorded message each time , which was useless to me. I put my rubbish out at 0600 hrs this morning . In a black bag in a dustbin ,on the pavement beside my front gate. For the second time in four weeks it is still there at !500 hrs.
What is going on. I am 91 and don't need this aggravation.

Unprofessional staff, and definitely not ready to help with any information. As well they can be extremely rude.
Useless and very unprofessional staff. After over a year of daily phone calls RE clearing the grass and shrub areas at my front door where a forest had grown, I could never get through the person responsible for this and never received a call back from him. As if wasn't enough, I even had to explain myself each time I was calling as if they had no records of my previous calls. I wanted to get this done before my new baby was born and now that she's around I'm left with no choice to pay the gardeners out of my own pocket. Shame on you people!!!
They're more than happy to charge for rubbish collection in the Council tax but rubbish at collecting you're rubbish. I've been reporting that my rubbish has not been collected for weeks and it's still not been taken.
It is horrible service 2 time waiting on phone 40 mn then answer , say we close now, sorry we can t help.. way you taking money monthly if you workin like that..
They leave you a phone number to call . But it takes you to paying your rent

Simply don't bother, well that's unless you want to open a bar, bistro or build some new flats. Rude staff as usual, and will not listen to anything that you have to say.

They never answer the phone so you can talk to anyone .all i keep getting is press 1.for this 2 for that not being given the option to talk to someone
Possibly the most negligent council in the country for helping its most vunerable residents. Constantly caring about saving money than saving its residents in mitigating situations with their health or disabilities.
Having had cause to make several reports on their website, I can say that I am very rarely contacted about these or informed as to what action has been taken.
Absolutely rubbish, call the number they place you on hold for 20 minutes then cut you off. That's trying to speak to someone, all other options are automated
Wish I could of put starts under 0 , full of *hit , don't do their jobs , we pay your salaries you *unts, never get an answer properly, people that haven't got a clue what they are doing ...
