Breadworks is consistantly perfect....hooked on bread as a life staple, I admire the consistant great quality of this bakery. Their sourdough equals that of San Francisco legend Larabaru. Now long gone Larabaru was the best and most famous bread bakery in America. Well, Breadworks is now in that catagory. Pure perfection. Not only the sourdough but all the breads qualify for an excellent rating. A trip to Pittsburgh is a trip to Breadworks and the proof is in the number of restaurants using their breads!

Best bread in the Burgh. The olive focaccia is a treat. Rolls and sliced breads here are great for every day. It's worth a visit to the bakery to see the full line, if you can get there. They take cards for purchases over $10.

First time visiting the store. I've had the bread and rolls before. I love them. I tried the raisin bread and it was killer. Such a nice friendly environment. They give samples and I'd definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer!

Great bread! They sell both commercial products (like high-end but very fresh supermarket loaves, pre-sliced) as well as European style craft breads, also hard and soft rolls. Everything is wonderful, tasty, delicious. My only complaint is that I always buy too much bread! They make a great pumpernickel, perfect for something like roast beef sandwiches. Baguettes are great too, and the raisin bread, awesome. Half price after 5:30, but they are often out of the best of the craft breads.
