The different departments are well separated. If you are driving, it is better to ask for the number of the entrance barrier so that you do not get lost. The detours are very difficult on this road.

The company was founded in 1973 by Michael Madsen, a Haitian, from one of Haiti's richest industrial families, who came from Denmark in the late 1800s. Since its foundation, under the license of PepsiCo International, Brana manages the manufacture and distribution of non-alcoholic beverages such as the Pepsi-Cola and 7 Up brands.

In 1976, she launched Prestige, a lager-type beer, the first and so far the only beer from Haiti. Then, under license from Diageo and Heineken, it adds to its range of manufactured beverages, the famous Irish Guinness and Malta Heineken later renamed Malta H. It is also distributor of imported alcoholic beverages Diageo group for Haiti.

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, Brana began producing her own range of soft drinks under the King Cola brand and the Toro energy drink. It further expands its product range with the addition of Crystal Springs bottled water [1].

On December 14, 2011, Heineken publicly announced that it is taking control of Brana by increasing its stake from 22.5% to 95% [2].
