DONT WORK HERE AND DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I ...

DONT WORK HERE AND DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I had the horrible experience of being an employee for a short period of time at this appalling place. I sold "cheap" (cheap is right) vacation packages in exchange for a Nantucket presentation. There is a woman named Jennifer there and Chris they "manage" the call center if that's what you want to call it. The woman charges your credit card even if you decide that you don't want to buy the package after all. If you hand over your CC info they charge it doesn't matter if you want it or not. The goal each week is 5 vacations sold per employee. The first week there i hit their goal, the second week I doubled it then did that again. However, during the process of you trying to work Jennifer the night manager does her nails, hair, plays on her cell phone, calls employees stupid, moron, idiots, talks about her sex life, her daughters and anyone else's that fits her fancy.. etc. Rules.. what rules? The employees that she likes she's nice to for them there are no rules. She makes sure they get their attendance bonus even when they are late every damn day (Alex) Will let you miss work so that you dont go over the amount you can make to collect disability or unemployment (Patty). Will take sales from over achiever agents and give them to those who don't meet their goals. This is great if you can sit through hours of her teenage daughter popping up with her boyfriend telling the whole room how she lost her virginity and every other nasty disgusting topic you can expect to hear at a bar or in a strip joint or maybe in prison. If you can tolerate her idiotic teen daughter telling you to get on the phone and get back to work etc while her mother refuses to help you when you need it. I mean what do you expect from an idiot who barely earned a GED and now gets to be in charge. If you can tolerate the assistant managers boyfriend coming in and talking about this he can "pull his balls almost up to his neck" while he also hangs out for a couple hours creating a distraction. Oh and when I witnessed a woman who had just started working for the company being humiliated and forced to leave the building just because she disagreed with something Jennifer said, I just knew I would be her next target and I was. After proving my ability to do the job with doubling their expected goal, I got sick and was told to bring myself into work anyway and Jennifer would decide If i was sick or not. As if they are the Military what a joke. I explained that it was a 30 min drive each way and I wanted to also talk to someone in an HR role or superior role to Jennifer because of some incidences where I was sexually harassed (thats what my attorney is calling it)so i called what i thought was a corporate number they told me they would have someone call me back. Well someone did, they told me to take the night off and return the next day so I could talk to "chris" the call center director. So i did what they said, as I felt better the next day. Only when i went in there i was met with the same walk of shame that the other woman that I witnessed was. I was told I was being fired for trying to "buy sales" even though I had made the most sales of anyone on our shift for two weeks in a row. It was a lie. I witnessed the manager giving someone elses sale away to help someone meet their quota so I asked if that person who gave the sale away would be reimbursed or if we could buy a sale if we needed one. Apparently that was their excuse and grounds for firing me They had no interest in letting me speak. They didnt let me tell them how their assistant manager sexually harassed my by rubbing their bare stomach up against my back and shoulders when I was on the phone with a customer .as the person chanted "feel my stomach touch it touch it" while everyone else in the room watched and laughed. So as I tried to explain myself "Chris" took out his camera phone and started to record me because I was upset and he was laughing saying he was going to show it to everyone in the building.

We stayed at Stone castle. While waiting to your Nantucket.
When we agreed on our free gifts and your, we were promised 6 show tickets, a $30 dinner voucher, an appetizer at Logan's steak house and were told the presentation would be short and fun. I even asked if it was a time share and was told NO. This was by tmcintosh.
We got to the welcome center, only getting 3 tickets, no dinner voucher, no free appetizer and the presentation and tour are 2 hrs long. The manager refunded the amount minus the night we stayed in the hotel and we went on our way.
NEVER again. Would never do buisness with liers. Tmcintosh needs a refresher course .
Stone Castle is beautiful by the way.

Nice place to stay, but the people at the front desk are horrible! When u tour, the beds are comfortable with a foam top but when you have your own room the beds are hard and feel like you are on cardboard.when we asked if we could get a foam topper we were told that we couldn't until the next day. My husband went down to the front desk and told them we would like one now and the girl handed him a torn thin mattress pad in a bag. Later that night our dryer stopped working so i called the front desk. The girl seemed annoyed and told me their maintenance man doesn't arrive til 8pm. She didn't ask my room number so i told her and she said uh huh and hung up. I watched the maintenance guy from my deck for about an hour and he never stopped here. I called the front desk several times with only getting voice mail. So i drove up there and they were closed but there was a number to call. I called. And it was the maintenance guy. I told him my problem and he said he was never told about it! He came right over and fixed it. Very nice guy which is more than I can say for the front desk clerks!!

Don t trust the sellers... they talk
You into buying a package to hold a price and promise a LAVISH vacation package at the end of you decide not to invest... you pay whatever for an entire yr and then when you decide not to purchase the pts you get some weird set up Vaca package you could have purchase for a fraction of the price. It s a COMPLETE ripoff!

Beautiful place to stay. Everything you need is a phone call away. Bed, bathroom, kitchen Linens, dishwasher tabs, laundry stuff, shampoo, conditioner, face soap, makeup remover towels, plenty of room, full kitchen, dishes, pots, Pans, silverware, everything you need. It's definitely not a timeshare. Do some research before going to presentation so your more informed.

We love Nantucket's location. Our 1 bedroom suite is very nice--beautifully decorated, amply stocked with necessities, clean and comfortable. The only difficulty I had was with the flight and a half of stairs I had to climb, coming and going. I couldn't find any other complaint. Overall, very nice.

Came to Branson for a Spring Break, with my daughter- my best friend, and her daughter. We had a 3 bedroom unit and it was great! The views were wonderful and we did not have a single complaint about the unit we were in. All of the bedrooms were very large, each included their own bathrooms, and they provided everything you normally bring from home because you're not expecting it to be there. (Laundry soap, dishwasher soap, cleaning wipes, etc) The unit kitchen was very nice, and the whole place was very clean. We don't want to stay anywhere else on our future trips to Branson!

The tour and conference should have taken 2 hours as we were told. It ended up taking 3 and a half hours. The last 30 mins were us waiting after we declined there offer in order to recieve our free gifts. The staff was very nice. We just dont like being told an event will take 2 hours. Then it taking almost 2 times as long.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom and it was aaaaaamazing!!! The staff were friendly. The place was super clean and we loved the private elevator to the widows walk. Nice views especially at sunset. Wifi was also great! The style of the interior had a great beachy but classy feel. Loved the time we spent here and look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful view of Table Rock Lake, clean and spacious condo, and nice staff. Would come back in the future, especially once they've added more to the resort (they're under construction currently to add an additional pool and a restaurant, I believe). Thank you for making our family vacation feel like we're still right at home!

We were there for a presentation to purchase advance vacation packages. All in all it was basically a timeshare. The sales people were very high pressure. We were only supposed to be there for 90 minutes but after 3 and a half hours we were able to get out of there. Horrible horrible experience!

They were trying to sell me property and when we said we were not interested at this time they kept pushing. My husband tried to get additional information so he could make an informed decision and when he did that, they just kept asking silly questions. About where we want to go , how would we want to spend our vacations. Nothing that was important or of value that would help us make any kind of decision.

Don't take this wrong, I like to stay here. But now Branson and most communities are locked down due to the virus. Waited as long as I could to see if we could keep our reservation, but now everyone is asked to stay home. I called to cancel and Nantuckets owner says he will only refund half the points we used to make the reservation. So, while the rest of us are either quarantined at home or getting sick Nantuckets owner is lining his pockets. As far as I am concerned Mr. Knasel is no different than the people who price gouge during this pandemic. Buyers beware, renters beware. Unscrupulous operators.

This is a "Hard Sell" condo/time share sales. Once they get you in the door, they have you captive for nearly 3 hours. They have some very nice time shares, but time shares are not for everyone. Drive around Branson and look at all of the billboards saying "We will get you out of your timeshare" or "We will buy your timeshare" all offering pennies on your dollar.

My family just stayed (01/02/16) 4 nights in a three bedroom unit at Branson's Nantucket Resort. We used our points with VI to book through RCI, which was 120 VI pts plus $124 exchange fee with RCI. All that works out to over $250/night! This is a lot of money no matter who you are. If you are thinking about buying into this resort or exchanging for a vacation at this resort, the 8 of us would recommend you look elsewhere, before you spend your hard earned money at a mediocre place.

We were given House number 1. At first glance, when driving down the hill at night when we checked-in and seeing the resort all lit up with Christmas lights, we were thinking... This is pretty nice! It is a beautiful location and the place is well kept up on the outside even though there is construction ongoing of new clubhouse. We could see past this!

What we can not tolerate is a fancy looking place that looks nice on the inside and outside, but is poorly constructed, dirty interior, loud and hard uncomfortable beds for this amount of money!

The base boards, central air vents, cold air return, and pics were all covered with dust and/or dirt. There were cob webs in plain view and MB light fixture was about to fall off. The grout in the tile floor of master Bath was coming out the tiles, had come loose and were wobbling on the floor when you stepped on them and floor was uneven. I told the front desk about these issues and nothing was done! I would compare the MB bed to a box spring with plywood thrown on top, with a mattress cover on top. Real nice! On top of this, the place is built so poorly, it sounded like the people in the unit below us were in our room with us! It's just great when you a trying to sleep and you can hear people below you talking clear as day! Every noise carried through the house from below and above like there was a herd of elephants in the house. Needless to say, we are all exhausted and out a bunch of money! We will never go back!!!

Pleasing exterior and interior. Big problem with parking. They blame it on construction but there are not enough desgnated spaces for number of rooms.
Does not allow for guest to drive in and meet you.
I had requested a walk in unit because I have balance issues. They gave us a 1 bedroom unit that you had to walk down two flights of stairs to get to room. No elevators in the cabins. I fell one time and they are very lucky that I did not injure myself. They will not have any handicapped facilities or elevators until may 2018. They provided a maintance man to carry the bags down for us.
The room was underneath a 3 bedroom unit. Everytime someone walked across the floor you heard them-even if they were barefoot. Anytime some moved a piece of furniture like a chair you heard it. No acoustics padding between floors.
The flights of stairs are well lite with outdoor light fixtures but the light was outside the bedroom window. There were plantation shutters on the bedroom window so the it was bright as daytime. We had to buy sleeping mask to sleep.
They were operating with a limited number of people and they were dedicated to sales. Front desk took took 8-10 rings to answer the phone. I left a message for maitenance and they did not respond or try to fix the problem, it was on a Wednesday and they had not fixed when we checked out.
Bottom line Nantucket is only interested in selling units. They are not ready to be recieving guest. If you have any walking impairment --DO NOT go here until MAY 2018.

So here we are on vacation in Branson and get rook...

So here we are on vacation in Branson and get rooked into a vacation tour sales pitch at Nantucket. They frequently reminded us "we are not a time share." They ended with "wow, that's like test driving cars all day knowing you don't intend to buy a car."

I told him something like, "we didn't come here intending to test drive cars. Your guy on the front line said this was a simple tour of the property in hopes we would stay here next time we visited or tell others about this place. We will tell them."

It reminded me how Lenin could not get Russians to buy into communism. So he tweaked it a little and repackaged it as "democratic socialism" and the people thought it sounded good. Next thing you know they are under communist rule.

Nantucket, not a time share, sells "fractional ownership" in which you can build equity and sell your share. You get points every year you can trade to take trips to other places in the world. Or you can use those points to pay the annual fees of "enrollment" in RCI and membership in their "private owners association." They are currently building a new resort tower which expects to be completed around this summer's end. So the current selling point is to imagine how much your equity will go up once it is complete and starts selling.

It is a sale. There will be down payments and monthly payments until your share is paid off (our starting sales price was roughly $30k.) They will haggle a little. They will try to make you feel guilty for wasting their time; not too bad, but a lil. (At least for OUR experience.)

It sounded good and the wife was really tempted. However, once we got away and she began reading other reviews and doing her own math she became glad she did not jump on this golden opportunity.

They told us these properties are for "owners only" yet I see rooms listed on public hotel rental sites. Not sure how that works.

What a very beautiful condo "owners resort". For all intense a purpose this is a time share alone the bluff on table rock lake. This is a very coastal look and feel cookie cutter resort. They currently working on a tower type condo which will have 2 bowling alleys, restaurant, movie theater, and a above ground pool which will be located on the top float. This is however opened to public. This is a "members only club." Pricing wasn't bad to own.
