Best pharmacy in Metuchen, or anywhere. Knowledgeable and considerate staff and they're so good at giving flu shots I don't even know they did it.

They deliver. When you're sick, they deliver. They have a variety of gifts for young & old, very tasteful,great quality.

this is far and away the best pharmacy i have ever used. it's a small store and gives personal service including delivery. if there's ever a problem with an insurance company (and when is there not?) they try to work it out for you. i've lived in metuchen for over 30 years and for the first two years used another pharmacy on main street. in an emergency i tried boyt's and i would never change pharmacies again. gerard, the second owner since i'm here, is accommodating and reliable. they know all their customers personally and aim to please.

If you want that personal small town pharmacy where they treat you like a person go here. Beyond being nice the pharmacists behind the counter really know what they are doing.

Excellent care knowledgeable Pharmacists! Home delivery nice drivers. So glad my doc insisted leaving a chain , "W", don't want to write whole name. I hope they continue for a long time.

This place is wonderful and way better than any chain pharmacy you will ever find. That has an excellent gift/retail section where you can buy all the essentials for the season and pick up some cute/unique gifts! The place is always spotless and they are constantly getting in new products.
My in-laws (who have multiple health conditions) go here as well and they always have the prescriptions ready for them (even when they forget to get refills, the pharmacy already has them!). The medications are always ready when I walk in and the staff is very friendly. They've never forgotten to auto-fill my medication so it is super convenient for me as I'm always on the run between work and errands. In addition to all this, they have an amazing FREE delivery service which has been helpful for my in-laws. With COVID, this has been an invaluable service - especially for the in-laws who don't like leaving the house too much due to their susceptibility to the virus.
I encourage anyone/everyone to give them a try and see what a major difference shopping local can really make for their pharmacy experience, in the best way.

The personalized service that you receive at Boyt Drugs is immeasurable. The pharmacists and staff go way beyond what any chain store can do. I have been a customer of Boyts for 40 years and they have never failed to deliver 100% of the time.

It was always a toss up at this place when I lived in Metuchen. Sometimes, it was fine, but other times, the mummies working behind the counter were awfully rude. There were times where I might be waiting at the pharmacy or the front, and the fossil at the counter decides to let an older person who was not next in line take my spot, even lying and saying that the older person was next, even though they literally may have just walked in the door. It could have been senility, but I think it more likely just plain not-ready-to-join-the-21st-century mentality. I really hope these nasty old women have died off and they re replaced them with people who don t try to the 16th century on the rest of us. So, I guess if you re 50+, you ll have a great time there, but if you re not, then you better keep off their lawn!

I have to say this is by far the best pharmacy. I've been coming here for the last few years and it seems the pharmacist now knows me by name. Today upon arrival my doctor had still not called in my Perscription. After the woman at the counter tells me she doesn't have it I hear him scream who do I have to bug she tells him the doctor's name and he immediately calls the doctor for the prescription. He fills the prescription I was in the store all of 10 minutes. There are always smiles and greeting and a minimum wait here. You can not get this at CVS, Walgreens or any other chain store its ONLY at this neighborhood store!!!

Upon my arrival I was greeted by an older man claiming to be the owner and told me to move my vehicle that I was not allowed to park in the back parking lot. He proceeded to ask me if I knew how to read..which the sign clearly stated that parking was only for specific stores salsa Latina being one of them.(that's where I was going) He threatened to call the police! Seriously? To avoid an altercation I moved my car from the parking lot... shame on you sir! Oh And merry Christmas!
