Bovine Metropolis Theater Review

Best improv hands down. Kinda that secret down town club feel.

As an event planner with As You Wish, I recently had the opportunity to work with Denise in planning our client's 50th Birthday party at Bovine. From start to finish, Denise and her team were incredible. Super detail oriented, helpful and so talented! Our guests had such a phenomenal time and really enjoyed the private, improv performance. I highly recommend this venue for parties and team-building events. 10/10!

Great venue for local improv! I saw my friend perform there - not only did she kill it, the production was spot on. I would gladly return!

This is one of those magical places that could change your life! I signed up for improv classes here years ago and discovered this amazing art form and made great friendships. The shows here are great and wildly entertaining.

Didn't really know what to expect. It was Date Night, so my wife and I got super stoned and went to the Harry Potter act. It was so intense, very entertaining. We laughed the whole time, but not cuz it was always funny, but also of how awkward and weird it was. I only 'highly' recommend going to this.

I went here for Valentines Day this year. I enjoyed the format of the show that volleyed off the volunteers accounts of their romances. As a more serious person, I found myself laughing more than I thought I would. The actors were clever and talented.

I love this theater! I started with a Level 1 improv class about two years ago and it has been life changing! The idea of doing improv terrified me and I was so nervous that first day! Most people in the Level 1 class were in the same boat, and we finished out through Level 5 together. The classes were SO fun, and challenged me in such positive ways. On top of that I was welcomed in by a whole community of truly wonderful people. I am so happy I took that first class! I am forever grateful for the Bovine and the ways its community has enriched my life.

A great time! I never heard of the Bovine theater until a friend invited me. The Improv comedy was refreshingly fun. We laughed and had a great time in the intimate theater. We will be back!

The Bovine never ceases to entertain! Have seen the "On The Spot" improv show several times now and it is always an awesome hour of comedy. Cannot beat the price either for the late show! Always going out to a comedy show that you and your friends can get involved in. If you have seen and like "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" then you will love the Bovine Metropolis!

This place is so fun. The actors are awesomely talented, and will make you laugh so hard, your jaw will be sore tomorrow! We will be back

The absolute best place to spend an evening. Their shows are always funny, entertaining, and high quality.

This is a great place to see improv and an especially great place to take classes in improv. The instructors do a great job in encouraging you to try new things while making you feel safe to do so. I highly encourage everyone to take a final Friday intro class to try it out. It's only $10 and you might discover something new and wonderful in your life.

The improvisations are hilarious and full audience participation is encouraged.

Solid Improv Group Here. This is a small theater that gets intimate with it's crowd and has some really solid performers. Occasionally it gets a little quiet if you are sitting near the back of the room, especially if the heat/air kicks on.

This is not going to be "Whose Line" but it is worth giving a shot - you just might enjoy what you see.

Improv is hard but these guys were quick on their feet and funny!

I really enjoyed my improv training (all five levels) and the many workshops and advanced courses I've taken over the years. They proved to be an excellent foundation for my improv! I also met incredible people along the way. I'm very grateful the Bovine offers so many opportunities for both experienced and inexperienced improvisers to learn AND perform!

The bovine is awesome. I've been taking classes there for almost two years. It is a huge highlight of my week. It is a chance to laugh and enjoy the company of others. They also have shows there six nights a week. I've seen dozens of shows and it is such a good time. If you are on the fence, go see a show. They also have an intro to improv night that makes for a great date night.

If you want an hour of non-stop laughs at a very reasonable price, then the OTS show at the Bovine is it. Great time!

Had a great time! The cast was fun and captivating and the show wasn't drawn out or over too soon. We had lots of laughs and will definitely be going back!

Went here for Armando: A show for lovers and absolutely LOVED it! Great group of talented actors/actresses, easy to find, small intimate setting. I wish I lived in Denver so I could go more often!

Great time. Have been there both for an improv and sketch comedy show and had laughed historically. Very reasonably priced as well! Everyone who works there is incredible talented and friendly.

The Bovine is an incredibly fun place to hang out. It's like one giant party with lots of laughing. If you're looking for an endorphin release, this is the best place to get that going!

Their improv classes changed my life, and the shows are so much fun! My favorites are Heirs of Hogwarts and On The Spot, those shows have had me crying from laughter on multiple occasions. Prime Time on Thursday nights is awesome too!

This venue is perfect. I've seen many shows here, and it's casual, welcoming, and you can see some amazing improv. These folks support the improv community, welcoming improvisers and giving them a great place to work and play. I love coming to shows here, it's worth every penny. Support local improv, and have a great time!

We've been to several shows here and every time they're so much fun. My husband has graduated from here twice. He's so much more open, friendly and outgoing ever since taking Improv classes here.

Completely loved the members of Bovine. CSU orientation was lucky and privileged enough to have five members perform improvs. They did a wonderful job making us all laugh and feel like a big part of the improv process. Improv is not easy to be good at but they did an amazing job, I'll be visiting their downtown location soon hopefully!

Love this place. Always a great show and a great time. I would love to take the classes someday when I have time.
