Bournemouth Rock Review

Lovely place, the view is excellent. The beach is a sandy beach and surprisingly very clean.

Needs a make over like what they have done around the town

Lovely location. Food in the bar was superb and the staff really friendly.

Great on a beautiful day with a nice restaurant and attractions for small children and a zip wire for the more adventurous on the end.

Definitely worth a visit. It is connected by a short path through a beautiful park, where you can play mini golf in summer, from the city center. There are many attractions here. I would recommend to arrive by bus.

The views are stunning, the beaches are amazing but there need to be more to do on the pier and around the pier for families but make it affordable

Great place. Although I visited during the pandemic alert, it was very busy. Managed to snap some nice shots from both sides. I will return to this place that's for sure

Good for a fun day out with kids but too crowded on public holidays. Go on a weekday if possible to avoid the rush.

Nice panoramic view of sea, decent cafes and option for fun activities makes it a good place to hang out along with the beaches

Pier approach is good and is better for the attractions they have there can't say the same for the pier itself though.

Beautiful gardens. Boat rides are still open. But on the pier, there's just the bar. The beach is awesome.

Long wait at the door and the young girl who"welcomed" us was lacking in any social skills . Cake and tea was ok but we won't be going back to this venue

Not too bad , but they took the order, then came to collect the payment without bringing the drinks and it took them 30min to bring a cocktail and 2 beers

Great place for an afternoon. Lots to see and do. Good restaurants also.

Pay to go in, not a lot on the peir a little fairground for kids and one cafe

Really disappointed. Have to pay to get on, and for what? There's little on there. Our ticket allowed us to go back on there again and again, but once was enough. Probably different if you want to play the slot machines.

One of the best sandy beaches I have been to in England!

Probably the best preserved pier in England. Of course the pristine beaches all around make it so popular. If you are ever in the South of England then this is a must place to visit. Harry Ramsden's famous fish and chips are just along the beach front next to the pier.

Absolutely packed with people every day, not good under current covid situation, no social distancing at all

Very very nice food and drink I return everytime we come to bournemouth very highly recommended and the live bands are awesome cant wait to come again

Really good value for money climbing activities at the end of the pier for all ages from 6 upwards

Great place to spend time with the family just dont buy the donuts over cooked and stale.th they smell great so just enjoy the smell

Really nice to see a Pier being well looked after and being able to sit and have a drink . Brilliant it's a shame some seaside resort don't do the same to there .

It's a pier! Nothing amazing but it's a good way to get some better views without going out in the sea! You can reause your ticket over and over again I don't think Many people no this? Pricey for fishing! Gone up over the years good place to take children for fishing as safe.

Take out coffee etc for sale.Toilets open. Harry Ramsden's take out available. Plenty of seating outside in sunshine

Beautiful spot with excellent connections to the town and lots of attractions available nearby.

Good fun, bit expensive great location any time of year.

I don't get why you pay to go on the pier to play on the amusements... I guess they lose lots of potential customers this way... Expensive for a family, although you can reuse the ticket, assuming you actually want to go back on it..!

Why charge people to go on the pier? Get the amusement arcade to finance it.

Nice place to visit and see the sights of Bournemouth beach. Lockdown didn't seem to demish it much. Still plenty to do during the day as well as evening time. Kept clean and very pleasant to visit

I remember when you would not be asked to pay to go on the pier by a beach. Not happy about how everything is now charged because the summer is here. I did not go on out of principle.

We had a lovely time on Bournemouth Pier. The food in the restaurant and bar on the pier was lovely and good value for money.

Bournemouth is always a joy to visit even if it's raining.! It's a multicultural town with age groups across the board. Great for families.

It is a bridge that hasn't been finished yet. Maybe one day it will be.

Been repainted and Looks Very nice one of the best maintained piers i've been to. Still think the pier toll is pointless and shouldn't have to pay to go on to the pier and then pay again for some attractions
