My experience at Boudreaux Cajun Grill on May 21, 2025. My wife and I were out with a few friends for dinner and the waitress served our drinks. As she was passing out the drinks, she spilled mine all over me. I understand accidents happen and tried not to make a big deal out of it and treated her very respectively even leaving a tip. She grabbed a few paper towels and what I assumed to be the manager came over and basically through me a roll of paper towels down on the table and walked away. There was really no apologies from anyone and things moved along as if nothing happened. I didn’t want to ruin the dinner with friends. When I received my check, I was thinking they would possibly discount or not charge me for my meal. That wasn’t the case. We left the restaurant and it bothered me that there was no real apology. So I decided to call the restaurant less than an hour after we left asking for the manager. The manager got on the phone and he was actually the owner (the person that threw me the roll of paper towels). He recalled everything and basically said since it was only a glass of water that it was no big deal. I explained to him that I was disappointed that there was no apology and that he basically didn’t really care about my negative experience. He stated he would talk with the server. The real problem is the fact that he truly didn’t care about what happened. I asked him if this happened again, what would he do differently? He said nothing. The server may have spilled the water on me, but the manager/owner did not even acknowledge my disappointing experience at his restaurant. The bigger problem is the owner showing no respect towards me. Thus, I am writing a negative review in the hopes that he sees it and hopefully changes his way on how he treats a customer. By the way, I have eaten at this restaurant several times before. So this wasn’t my first and only time eating there.
