Boriken Neighborhood Health Center Review

I been very honest am scare of dentist but went I start to go to this dentist they give comfortable and I attend my self with two dentist there the first on left and now am with Dra.Ortiz the Dominican one I like the way she Work and she is very friendly with me and my kids she is very nice I been going to they dentist clinic since my kiddos was kids So that is more then 20 years I know oldest work in the clinic and never have a problem no of them

Friendly staff, nicely decorated and every medical need is here

Sometimes when I call this Clinic I talked to the receptionist on the phone and they just automatically hang up on me or transfer me to somebody else without telling me to hold on, or they cut me off while I'm talking. Some Spanish women in here are rude with poor people skills.

I had a female dentist prior who was very good and she moved on with her career. I had an issue once with the Dental Director Dr. Rojas, who is very nosey and needs to learn proper etiquette. She is very rude and overall a control freak. Another issue that is truthful is that the organization requires better personel working for the organization, and also they need to learn how to schedule their patients. On my last visit my dentist was very kind and professional and also attentive to my needs. I hope that some major changes happen as this would be beneficial to patient care.

I am constantly calling them to make an appointment for my grandmother to be seen and they never assign her another appointment after initial appointment. Then they are always shifting the blame between the pharmacy about medications my grandmother should be having the doctor does not seem to want to be the there and the nurses are always joking around playing its very clean but service sucks...

This review is long overdue, for my experience with this Awesome Hidden Gem of a Clinic. From the Door to the Doc and everyone in between this place Rocks and could/should be called Harlem's Best Medical. The care, professionalism, and efficiency they render are impeccable, to say the least. Shout out to Mr 'G' (Giovanni) who is the best lab tech I have ever encountered. I count it a Blessing to have lucked upon a Real winner to entrust my Healthcare to.

I love this clinic. I've been coming here for over 35 years. My family have received excellent care. The staff treated me professionally. I used many services that are available. I would never go anywhere else. I trust Boriken Clinic completely.

I have been to this dental office 5 times and they have yet to take care of the tooth i had originally come in with massive pain, they do not call to confirm appointments the day before, communication if any is terrible to patients and amongst each-other. Professionalism does not exist in this dental office whatsoever! They greet each other like they are on the corner yelling klk. They like to blame the insurance company for they re mishap of letting an inexperienced assistant take X-rays that were blurry and instead of double checking the work she had done they sent blurry photos to the insurance thus making me wait another MONTH in pain and instead of calling me to say so they waited all that time. Finally i get approved for the root canals and then they tell me they are not capable of doin them at this location and so i am referred to NYU. Dr. Pereyra might have the skills and degree to be a dentist but by no means should she have a practice her moral and dedication is strictly with her on her vacation and not at all with her patients.
I could go on for another hr. about the terrible service at this location from the security/ maintenance man to front desk personnel and as previously mentioned by another commentator Mrs. Rojas a nosey woman putting in her two cents when and where not needed if she paid this much attention to her weight the world might be a better place or at the very least this office might run a little smoother, in other words DO YOUR JOB, mind ur Bussines!

Horrible the way they attend you. For the most part the nurses are late. Inconsiderate of our labor time. They love to agree to disagree in front of patients and love going for adventures around the work space to avoid work as much as possible. IDK correct me if I'm wrong but I've worked in an office space with vibes similar to this and I can assure myself at least that I am not wrong. Wanda though, real mvp.
