I pulled up to Borgata for a different spin on my usual A.C. experience and was pleasantly impressed by the design aesthetics and warm staff. The winnings were solid. The drinks were made good. The food was delicious and overall; I had a solid time. Best evening in a while!
Borgata offers fun and activities for everyone. I loved the decor and all the details in the hall leading towards the casino. We really liked the treats in the Borgata baking company, we took cheesecake, cupcakes and macaroons it was all delicious. We will visit the hotel again for sure!
Went to the buffet today and will say very disappointed in the food. Started at the salad bar and wanted to have some fruit. It was all dried out and not appealing at all. Walked around to the hot stations and overall not very impressed with it.about the only thing that was good was the carving station and mashed potatoes. Tried a steak but it also was all dried out from just sitting there. Went to get vegetable fried rice and again very dry.
My home away from home for Casino in AC. Always been treated well by the staff and typically get good comps from my play here. Poker room is one of the most active in AC and North East. Bread and Butter always great for a quick bite between sessions.
Very nice atmosphere! Live music and good machines. The only downside was BECAUSE it's busy, then the servers take too long to come to ask/get your drinks. Other than that, I had a great time!
We stayed at the Water Club section of the hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous, big and comfortable. I always judge the hotel by its bathroom which says a lot about design, care and cleanliness of the room. This was a pleasurable surprise as everything was spotless, modern, with huge water pressure and every amenity you can think of. The bed was comfortable, and service was impeccable. Just right.
My favorite Atlantic City casino. It has more options for food and entertainment then any other casino. There is nightly comedy show and live music Thursday through Sunday. I love the pool area because it's like an escape to a tropical island. The rooms are always clean and appealing. The parking is super easy and $5....some other casinos charge up to $25. I guess the only issue is getting there....if you miss that Borgata sign that takes you there you may end up in Atlantic Ocean..lol but I know to slow down now & I go during the daylight hours.
The lobby is beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful. Food/drinks are pretty expensive (could be cheaper, I m sure the casino makes more than enough through their guests gambling). Not a huge fan of all the areas that are smoker friendly (what is this, the 1950s?), it would be nice if those areas could be sealed off. Because once you make one open area smoker-friendly, you are effectively making the whole lobby/gambling area smell like cigarettes. The room was clean and nice, but nothing exceptional (especially for the price).

Especially those that smoke a cigar.
I love going to this hotel, but I m rethinking it due to the smoke.
You have designated smoking sections that simply do not work. People smoke wherever without any enforcement of the rules.
I spend a fortune having all my clothes cleaned after each visit. Just not worth it anymore.

Definitely enjoyed it. Somethings were closed, like the Spa in the Water Club and the hot tub. We did book at the Spa Toccare but wished those hot tubs were unisex so I could spend time with my husband. Restaurants were fun. We won on slots. Would go again.
