It is impossible to have a bad night in bootleggers. If all bars where like this no one would to teetotal

Great atmosphere, Good beer, Keeping music alive!....as a group of friends we try never to miss especially Friday night Sunday early doors 6.00. And you can dance if you feel like it! ...

Great venue for live music. Local bands play there as well as established bands. Good range of beers on offer. Central location in town.

Amazing venue and must goto for any rock fan. Happy hour drinks too.

Its a great place for a drink with a good range and on selected nights there's live music to be has as well all reasonably priced. Support your local live music venue

Looks like a dive bar. The music started around 10:40 pm.

Very popular music bar for this town and wide area. Has a varied mix of bands and solo artists during the week but more so Thurs to Sunday. Features some top artists from time time but also gives time for up and coming performers. When no bands are playing a disco is often in full swing.
Recommend to anyone visiting the town.

Fantastic music venue that punches well above other places in town. Reasonably priced drinks and a great place to listen to the many live bands they put on.

Great Venue. Twelve Paces were next level amazing.

Best bar in town. Fantastic for live music every Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Great for a good boogie with a dj on a saturday. Staff are a good laugh

Really good late night spot. had an ace band on. My only complaint is that the wait for the bar was horrendous and it was to overcrowded.

It's a great place for live bands and a dance but you must keep an eye on your drinks. Someone likes to spike drinks in there. 2 nye on the trot me and my friend have been spiked

Ace place, I especially loved the atmosphere, very friendly.. from the bar staff to the circle of people dressed in fancy dress, enjoying the wide selection of craft ciders :) their dedication to a proper 'dance off' will be etched into my mind's eye forever.. you had to be there but the guy breaking shapes in the 80's American USA leather jacket, blonde wig and navigators almost made the amber nectar leak through my nose.. beautiful :)

Always good for a bit of live music with fair prices. It's amazing for a small town like Kendal to have a live music venue to give local new and established bands a platform.

One of the better bars in Kendal. Just gets too busy later on... Can be difficult to move... But got a dance floor, seating and patio smoking area with huge umbrellas to keep you dry

Beautiful venue, great sound for live music and a fantastic bunch of locals, very much recommended

Lively place. All ages. Everyone is out to have a good time. Got rather busy and the floor was getting stickier and stickier the later it got . Did not visit the female bathroom but foul odour came from Male bathroom straight onto the main room. Long queues when trying to order a drink. All in all probably the liveliest place in all of Kendal .

Great pub with lots of live music throughout the year. Bands from all over the world end up in our town due to this venue being here.

Absolutely excellent music venue with a vast array of drinks. The balcony upstairs over-looking the stage is an excellent viewpoint for the bands. Reminiscent of the good old days in the 70's and 80's for a rock venue. Free entry unless it's a top band.

Regular Life music in this pub/bar opens till late. If you're in Kendal I suggest don't miss it.

The most incredible DJ playing here on Saturday night, the place was heaving, absolutely awesome atmosphere.

Pre dull compared to what it used to be, almost as if its had major changes in management and changed the atmosphere

Great local venue, small stage but enough for a normal sized band. Plenty of floorspace and a number table seats as well, good atmosphere. Good for small/little known performers who are starting out, as well as for well known local acts

nice but it gets way to busy to enjoy it. there s way too many people there on a Saturday night. Can you even overcrowd a place like that?!
