Booths Review

Fantastic Quality of food and wine staff very helpful.

Like any booths it's a lovely new building with plenty on offer. Staff are all local and friendly no negative things to say about that. Sadly the parking area is shared with the shopping centre which it's attached to meaning it's very hard (especially on a hot or busy day) to find parking.

Great selection of products but very expensive. The egg custards are the best

If your weekly shop is 99% alcohol, you'll love it, If its food you're looking for, I'd go somewhere else! Should change their name from Booths to Booze

Absolutely love Booths. Possibly the greatest supermarket ever...!

Lovely store but cafe is poorly organised e.g. trays are only provided by the staff at the counter but sandwiches, cold drinks and some hot food are in cabinets in the queuing area, so if you've picked up such items you have to hold them in your hand! Also hot items are going cold whilst waiting to be served. Don't like the large refractory style tables and individual tables are at a premium.

Great choice of high end products...Worth the extra for rare and superior quality.

Why decide to clean the coffee machine two hours before the store closes? The cleaning programme takes approximately 15 minutes - starting the process at 9.30 would allow ample time for it to be completed!

The cumberland sausage swirls are a fave. Check out the cheeses some v nice ones cafe spotless. Good varriety of gins!

When looking for something a little different and greater quality

Modern friendly but absolutely no logic in lay out of the store.

Nice breakfast butties, also picked up a bottle of Rhubard gin which was on offer, result!

I am so disappointed in Booths. Me and my friends were having a nice lunch, we had bought food from the hot food counter downstairs. We then proceeded to go upstairs and get drinks from the cafe and then sit in and have a drink and eat our lunch. Unfortunately the moment we walked we were shouted at by the woman on the till telling us that we should ve paid for our food in the cafe. She let us sit down and have our lunch. Unfortunately about twenty minutes into our lunch we were aggressively approached by the cafe manager telling us that we needed to leave because we couldn t eat our food in there. She then packed up OUR food that we hadn t eaten yet and told us to leave.
This is unacceptable and I will NOT be returning to booths. I am so disappointed and felt completely victimised as we were stereotyped as soon as we walked through the door. We were no trouble and completely polite even though we were met with such prejudice.

We met relatives here as a central meeting place.
Nothing special, but suited our needs.
Adequate parking.

Checkout guy was really slow... Talking too much with customers about his own issues! Took me ages to get through checkout! Also on Sunday the checkouts only open at 10am not 9.40am! Not impressed

I did go in more times than I do now you can not just pop in and out now to meny people whating to get served because you can now only pay by card on the self service not meny people going to the self service now I put my shopping down without getting my shopping and went somewhere else. In Poulton you still have a lot of people using cash
so instead of having 6 places you could get served with using cash you now have only two .
In my opinion Booths as not taken into account the type of people that Shop in Poulton. The place you could pay for in
Card or Cash had a lot of people the Self service had no customers.

A really great shopping experience every time at Booths in Poulton ,- and to be rewarded with a free fresh cup of coffee is the icing on my cake!! Don't close or sell up because we need you!

I have always been a fan of Booths which stems from my Grandma loving her local Booths. Super local produce. Some prices can be very expensive but they do have offers on. Everything is of superb quality. Delicious oils and vinegars. Good selection of gins. I would love to do my weekly shop here but just buy my luxury goods.

Had toast and coffee reasonable but service sometimes little slow

A proper customer-oriented store, almost from a bygone era. Quality produce, but at a price. Good customer service. Worth supporting, lest it disappear.

Love this food store company, just a shame there's not one close to where I live (visiting relatives).

Very very slow service in the cafe. Had to queue for over ten minutes to order. Then ordered afternoon tea but the sandwiches took almost half an hour to arrive, by when the tea was cold! Poor.

we go to poulton quite a bit when we are at the caravan and sometimes we go in booths

Great produce. Much better than the big supermarkets, both in range & quality.

Expensive but can get great ingredients to make a meal a luxury.

Great new addition to the revamped shopping centre. Booths is great for products that are not readily available in large supermarkets. An upmarket version of your friendly local grocer.

We had a lovely time at Booths, Poulton-le-Flyde, went to the cafe had a lovely cream tea, staff are very helpful and keep the cafe very clean, they are very polite, all in all a very positive experience

Best cheese counter ever. Cracking craft beer selection as well

Okish, the service in the cafe is awful...so slow. The car park is dreadful, people get three hours free parking but a lot of people abuse that and it has been noted people park there and catch the train to work, there has to be a better system than this.
The store is ok but a bit pricey but a good home bargains.

Shame lift out of order as with wheelchair user couldn't access cafe & toilets

Good range of fresh products, with decent counters. Never really have to wait to be served as have both self service and tills are always on.

Bought a paper and had to wait while someone completed a medium shop at the tobacco tills! Then when one of two tills had a problem, the other till was closed to come and help the other till. Have an alarm button to request help! This was Saturday morning!!

very helpful young chap on butchers counter served me even though that counter had officially closed for the evening, I came in yesterday for some lamb chops but they had sold out he told me they would be some tomorrow on offer so I said I would be in to get some , couldn't get in today till 8 10 pm As my grandaughter had been taken into hospital. Anyway thanks for the lad for being so nice. x

Cafe Cream teas ,I wish they would put a cover over the sandwiches , twice we have had them, once in st Annes , and now poulton,
Both have dry edge sandwiches, if you are lucky to have the middle one you are ok,
They plate it up too soon , with nothings to stop them going dry , what a shame , everything else is lovely

Good shop plenty of fresh produce but something's more expensive.

Not that busy but bereft of staff on cheese counter. Not in a hurry to visit again.
