Great pizza! I usually do pickup, it's a great location right near Target and the library. I like the Bono's special on thick crust, it's crispy on the bottom and has a great flavor. The sauce is tangy and not too sweet. There's always lots of toppings and cheese. The Chicago style is great, too.

This is a hidden gem on the hill. It s a welcoming family atmosphere with delicious St. Louis style pizza. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking good good pizza

The food was good. The most irritating thing was the bar tender. She kept stepping out to smoke and leaving the door open.

Tony is a great fella and they saved me on a last minute lunch run. Very roomy and awesome deep dish pizzas.

Bartender Tony was awesome, drinks were on point, food was amazing. Can't wait to go back on a Tuesday night for B1G1 pizzas.

How have I not been here before now??? This place is amazing. I have Celiac disease and Tony's gluten free pizza is delicious. Hands down the best GF pizza I have ever had, in St. Louis or anywhere! The sauce was tasty, as well as the perfect amount to balance toppings and the crust. The toppings were generous and the crust was the exact right consistency and flavor, which is hard to accomplish gluten free. I read a review tonight and decided to try it and will be a repeat customer. Thank you for being a tremendous gluten free option right here in South City! 5 stars... or can I do more?!? Go there, you won't regret it!

The first time I ordered delivery from here a few weeks ago, I ended up having to come pick up my pie because they were down a driver because of an accident. They did walk my pie out to me so I didn't ask for a refund of the delivery fee. That pizza was good but on the pricier end. Tonight I ordered another for delivery. This one was burned enough that I doubt we'll order delivery again.

The sign out front advertised a lunch special that wasn't actually available. The pizza was disappointing and the staff was rude when another table requested to watch the Olympics.

Excellent pizza...calzones big enough to have leftovers..food and salads fresh...excellent service...reasonable prices...the homemade pizza dough is way above average and they have gluten free as well

Generous, delicious food. Our large party had both pizza and pastas. Food was fresh, service was quick but the restaurant wasn't too busy. Love the genuine South St Louis feel.

Pizza was good, NY thick with pepperoni. Busy night, polite staff. We ordered online for carryout, tokk a few minutes longer than the estimate, but there were several groups on the patio.

We had the pizza and it was great! Even better, Ginger was taking care of us in the bar area, and she was great! Everyone in the bar was talking with each other, and it was a great atmosphere. I'm totally coming back!

I watched this man drop my piece of chicken on floor owner told him to pick up chicken and put back in fryer like I did not see him drop my food on floor. I told him I don't want that and took what was prepared and left. Very disgusting and disturbing.

I live nearby and thought I would give this place a shot. Ordered a thick crust Bono Special for pick up. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Pizza was really good. Toppings were pretty generous. Cooked perfectly. The crust on bottom and on the sides were golden brown and had a nice crunch. The inside was like warm fresh bread and was filling. I did not throw any of the crust away. Ate every morsel. I will tell others about this place and must come in again to try a pasta dish.

Just don't. Slow service, food took forever and was incorrect. We were looking for a cool place to eat St Louis style pizza while passing through... this was a big error. More of a dive bar than restaurant. If you want a dining experience this isnt it.

Excellent! The best pizza in St. Louis. It is the only place I will order thick crust pizza outside of Chicago and they have the best NY crust.

We get delivery occasionally. Pizza is very good with brick oven home made feel. Tonight we got linguine tutti mare and eggplant parm. It was excellent. Very reasonable and large portions. Just like my mama used to make. It was superb !!

Its ok, probably a one time deal for us. Prices are a bit high. There are a lot of pizza choices around St. Louis. Hard to justify price for the quality. Not a bad experience at all, just ok.

this mgr. of this so called pizzeria, tony, has no intention of satisfying their customers! His outlook on customer complaints is "we have enough business, we do not need yours"! He is extremely rude. The
wait time is longer than most for an inferior product!

Delicious homemade hand tossed pizza! Salad was great too! We went for Lunch and ordered the Lunch Special which is a nice sized personal pizza and salad for around $8. Nice people and great service!

The food was awesome and so was the staff! Very helpful and friendly too. However in the end, they got a little bossy. She actually TOLD me to have a nice day! Of all the nerve! Mina loved it too and told me to to lighten up. Over all, it was a very awesome time like always.

Their deep-dish is legit. Bumping up my rating from 4 to 5. Sauce has great flavor. Will be back for more. Only wish they offered a bigger version!

Tonight was out first time trying Bono's. We order the Bono's Special pizza, the Veggie Delight pizza, an order of Hot and Spicy wings, and toasted ravioli. Everything was delicious and the staff was really friendly.
It was a little on the pricey side, bot overall it was well worth it.
I definitely suggest giving it a try.

Asked for a chicken caesar salad and they said they didn t have grilled chicken. then just asked for a regular caesar salad and they said they don t make them (?????) I then Ordered a house salad and all they gave me was lettuce with provolone cheese on top!! Ridiculous

Hands down the best pizza in st.louis. It took us 6 years of trying different places and finally we found Bono's. Chicago deep dish is amazing!!

Great local pizza shop! It s nice that they have many different pizza options from Chicago Deep dish to local St. Louis thin crust pizza. Very easy to order and take the pizza home I highly recommend the pizza with anchovy they chop them up and some are under the cheese oh it was amazing!

Staff were Pleasant and thoughtful, and the food came out in a decent time. We will be back!

My family booked a reservation for a large group birthday party. Since the place is more of a bar / pizzeria, I don't know if they're really used to large groups, but I have to say that they did a great job trying to meet our needs as a large group. We were even able to bring in a cake and they served it. Great group effort, great service.

The pizza comes in three varieties of crust. We chose the New York style and it was good.

Mold on top of the chili bowls!?! We ordered 2 of them to go & they both had mold growing on the cheese....how old is this food?!? I brought it back & they acknowledged that it was mold!! Got my refund & left! Never returning!!!!

Pizza was pretty average. I was looking for outstanding local pizza and I'm still searching. Menu showed buy one get one free on Tuesdays and when I tried to order it, the waiter said "oh that should have been covered up. We don't offer that any more" and did not honor the posted special. Political signs garner the front garden... Not really my thing when I'm interested in eating... Democrats, Republicans and independents all buy pizza... I don't care for politics at my dinner table. Probably my last visit.

Awesome Food. We came in for dinner and had pizza and two types of pasta. The service was excellent and the food was out of sights. The only problem was we didn't have enough leftovers for pizza in the morning (my favorite breakfast). I highly recommend Tony Bono's.

EXCELLENT!!!! CHICAGO style pizza is amazing. Everything is had made when you order. The quality of ingredients are the best. Its as of my Italian grandma our grandpa made it.

The Chicago style pizza was amazing with some of the best tomato sauce I've ever had. The thin crust is also really good. The inside was a little rough but not dirty and the waitress was very nice. They only had 4 sodas to chose from which was odd but something to knock a star off.

This is quickly becoming my new favorite place to order from. The calzone is what brought me in, originally but everything else I've tried has kept me coming back.

Hope they have kitchen cleaned up from unwanted creepy crawlers. Havent been back since 6 months ago.

Seriously I'd have to consider myself somewhat of a pizza connoisseur. With that said, the consensus of the party of 3 was the crust was good. The quality of the cheese and toppings were very good. Unfortunately the sauce was a no go for us. We had 2 one topping 16" New York style pizzas and 2 drinks for $41. I would consider that on the high average side. Close but not quite expensive. On a 10 scale probably 6.2 overall for taste, quality, and value. It's okay but probably a one time shot for me. Of course, I cannot speak about any other items on the menu.

Great pizza, house dressing is awesome. Pizza always good I've had every topping they have. Both Tony Sr and Tony Jr are always working and that shows they care how the pizzas are made and served and the two lady's are very friendly that take your order and on top of things.

From out of town, but one of the best pizza we've ever had. St. Louis style thin crust! Evenly crispy throughout the crust. Simple but good sauce. Toasted ravioli was great with a very good marinara sauce. Highly recommend!
