Bondi Icebergs Review

We went for a dinner and I must say very poor service. We got there on time and stood at the counter for 10 minutes. Then I asked one of staff member at the bar and he said someone will be with you shortly that's all. I mean they could see us waiting but they did not even bother to tell us that we will have to wait. The food was nice. There a great view. But they need to understand the importance of customer service. I wouldn't recommend iceberg to my friends. Imagine if it's a special day and you get this kind of service. It'll definitely ruin your moment. That one star is for the view and food.

Ordered the seafood platter, quite nice... They put mussels instead of oysters as they were out... The ocean is right there, go get me some.

The view is fantastic . The meal , Surf & Turf was way over priced for what it was . Meat was grizzly and lumpy mash . Was expecting a better feed .

Nice Fish and Ships and a beautiful sight of Bondi beach. Formal identification required for very interesting australian reasons. Ask why.

Overpriced, hardly any table space, rude staff member, and my 91 year old grandfather got stuck in thw lift for 20mins with no apology.

Good views, good atmosphere, bar-restaurant- club and swimming pools. I could say that it is a must to do in bondi

A must do in Sydney! Count around 5 the pool, no cloakroom but showers and lockers.

The background is so nice that you can take pictures. Admission fee is less than $ 10 and there is a swimming pool for children and a pool for adults. The children are shallow and the adults are very deep. It would be nice if people who enjoy swimming like to go. Water is sea water or not clear

Swimming in the pool was a lot of fun and it has a great view of Bondi Beach. Definitely worth the entrance fee.

Nice view, but doesn t make up for the very average food quality, irrespective of the dishes on offer. Here are the food ratings for each dish we tried

2/10 - Pumpkin and Beetroot Salad
3/10 - Beef Burger
5/10 - Fettuccine and Chilli Prawns
5/10 - Fish & Chips

4 different dishes for each of the four family members.

Will try and avoid this bistro next time.

The food was very expensive but very low standard.
The battered fish from the fish and chips were chewy rather than crispy. Their Thai beef salad was just salad with beef, Nothing Thai about it.
I had to wait6r a long time for the food. I was the third person ordering the food but other people ordered the food much later than me received their food earlier than me.

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the white sanded beach.

Great pool! Swimming in seawater with occasional waves. Best of sea and pool in one.

Watched the water polo here a while back. Great venue, awesome food & beautiful views

Lovely little getaway from the city life. Chilled, relaxing on a warm day over the xmas period. Will be back as long as it stays safe to do so!

It was very crowded and more so because there was a private function..in what I think would normally be a public area. The meal was very ordinary and on general an underwhelming place. As for the views Sydney have so many areas to offer. I think the North Bondi RSL is so much better.

Loved it though make a booking not always easy to get in

Atmosphere exciting view fantastic but went wrong day sunday too busy and had to wait for lunch ordered straight away serviced 1and half hours later

Spectacular! Swimming in the pool with the waves crashing on it is something wonderful. Honest entry prices.

Just rating the pool. Love swimming here. As a foreigner living here, this is just an amazing swimming location. I'll miss this when I'm gone.

Icebergs has some of the best seaviews and beach scenery landscapes on earth. The sheer magnificence of the waves crashing against the pool wall while you swim is absolutely incredible and is something that anyone visiting or living in Sydney must try at least once.

The restaurant isn't the cheapest and when they are busy they tend to be a bit rushed but that's to be expected for such an iconic venue.

I have been visiting Icebergs for years whenever I'm in Sydney, and it never fails to impress me

My friends and I went here for dinner with a reservation.. the venue has a beautiful view and nice restrooms. But service is lacking and risotto was undercooked. We didn't mention it to anyone because we would rather leave and won't be returning. Maybe they should ask their customers if they enjoyed their meal before accepting bill.

Great place to have a drink with friends from interstate to show them Bondi Beach. Meals are OK but the view makes up for it.

Fab view of Bondi - we could see whales from our table. Pretty standard club food in a nice setting.

Went there for dinner after ordering 3 mains( 2 lamb shanks and 1 barramundi ) and waiting for 40 mins my husband decided to check on the order since we were both on the phone and busy with our son. It was 9pm and we were starving. They said they forgot to put the order through. After 5 more minutes of waiting a guy came out and apologised, they had no lamb left nor barramundi. I asked him, what's the fastest food and said a salad.. full of sweat, I felt I bit disgusted to be honest ..
He said he would have to go back to check to see what they had left so we had to leave the place since we couldn't wait any longer. So disappointed... he felt sorry for us especially having a toodler with us and gave us a muffin, nice of him but we were still fuming..got our money back but never again... terrible experience
The noise in there was so loud got out with a headache, we got bitten my mosquitos outside, worst place to eat if you are hungry and just want normal service...

As a tourist place you should really consider going inside of the pool (it's cold) but there is a sauna for warming yourself. it's amazing!

What a beautiful location. We enjoyed a lovely early lunch with a spectacular views on Bondi beach.
The food is fresh and the salmon was spectacular.

Oh well another great landmark here. I didn't come inside but from the outside it's just a very fascinating swimming pool literally on the sea. People get baths here as well as trainings and with the right light pictures are great especially before sunset. It's on the way while doing the costal walk so impossible to miss with so many tourists standing there cause it's so beautiful

Very convenient located, not too expensive, everything is clean and staff are very welcoming and polite.

Probably the worst dining experience I ve had in sydney. The food was incredibly overpriced for the quality, found a male hair in my food right at the end but wasn t worth saying anything cause the staff had a dont care attitude. Felt like the workers would have preferred to be anywhere but at work earning money. Definitely don t recommend to anyone

Best view of the beach, but the downstairs eatery is fairly average food, compared with the food in the restaurant upstairs, but prices are good

RIPPED OFF the restaurant has a magnificent location the service was typical of upmarket venues the food was very nice - but - my butterflied whole whiting consisted of one small fish on a plate with a small amount of sauce nothing else MP market price was $85 didn t get much change out of $300 for a lunch for two. I have no issue paying well for beautiful food but 85 bucks for one small fish is a rip off. Would we go back? No!

The Icebergs is always an exceptional experience. The food is excellent, the service flawless, and the views spectacular ...

Lovely pool and great location - have to be a member to use full faciliies - highly recommended

The weather was cloudy, so I started to shiver in the afternoon, but it was very hard to swim. I recommend you go in when it's sunny! Beachwear is a must. There's no room for a mat, and there are three or four floors of stands.The dressing room and shower are clean, but you need to bring your toiletries.

Another outstanding experience at the venue with, IMHO, the best view in the world. Will always return.

Bondi icon. Go for a swim, sunbathe, swim, sauna, repeat.

The food is decent - particularly the seafood platter - but waiting for more than an hour for our order - just totally unacceptable.

If you re there for drinks and/or the view - should be a good vantage point. Just make sure you re not too hungry before coming in.

Spectacular bistro style restaurant setup with an amazing view to boot! Prices are reasonable but parking expensive and difficult to acquire close to venue. Public transport by bus is your best friend.
