Bonanza Steakhouse Review

I've increased my review from 1 to 3 stars. The French dressing still looks like orange ectoplasm but the waitress we had during my husband's father's memorial was amazing.

Great selection of hot foods, salads, & desserts. Pepsi products, tea, coffee & water to drink. Servers are right there to hand you a plate & then put on what you tell them. Friendly staff.

This restaurant has really went downhill unfortunately. Steaks are never good there anymore. Not super clean either.

Cashier/greeter was very nice and friendly. Our server was as well, kept table cleared of dirty dishes, and checked on us often. Buffett was clean, quiet a selection, something 4 everyone. Would highly recommend

Ponderosa is Absolutely the Best Place to Eat! I wish we had one in our town! We use to when I was younger...It was even better than I remember. Super Clean! Food was Hot! Lots of Good Choices!

It was good. Buffet had baked potatoes tonight, not a usual item.

Pleasantly surprised after boycotting for years. Food quality on buffet excellent. The steak quality hasn't changed through the years. Still a $2 value add on.

My family and I love the buffet. There is so much of a variety to please everyone. Always hot good ol home cooked comfort foods.

Poor poor customer service stoped going got a ribeye more fat grissel than meat asked for coffee he told me could not make they were closing in 30 minutes

Buffet had a good selection. Food was well presented. Wide variety of desserts. Service was polite and perfectly attentive.

Good food they need to keep there crusty musty dusty rusty hands off my food and I had to do social distancing with my ice cream they had no cones at all and they had barely any sauce I give this place a 1 star rating

Excellent food nice and hot the waitress was very prompt and keeping our table nice and clean. It was just a wonderful experience and hope to go back again.

I love their salad bar! It has so much to choose from and for the price you can't beat it.

The place wasn't the same when I worked there most of the food was cold, old or there wasn't any of it filled. It's a shame that I can't get my job back

Some things never got refilled, some didn't taste that great. It's usually much better. Drove 40 minutes to eat there and was disappointed.

Waitress was extremely polite and helpful food was excellent and the choices were almost too numerous to say. I will suggest this place to anyone. Price was reasonable considering all the food that a person could eat.

Food wasn't good at all chicken was dry even the Mac and cheese wasn't good way over priced for the food

Always excellent! Everything is always fresh, hot, delicious! Huge variety on the huge buffet tables. Nice desserts and ice cream to choose from. Servers are always nice. Atmosphere is comfortable and restaurant is always clean. Great place, great value

Haven't been to a Ponderosa in ages and found one close to home, yummy loved everything about it!

Food was fresh and hot great choice, friendly staff, love going there when in Vincennes.

It's a steak place with a huge buffet. Do yourself a favor, pass on the steak and hit up the fried chicken on the buffet, trust me! You can get a good steak anywhere, but this fried chicken is one in a million!!!

I can't put into words how disappointed I am. 20 years ago, Ponderosa was THE place for buffets and decent steaks. I thought that they had all closed down, imagine my surprise when I saw this one.

I seriously wanna know how this one survived and the one in Edwardsville IL was closed.
Small selection, dried out, over/under cooked on everything. Staff is ignorant and slower than molasses on a cold day in January
