Buffet was well stocked and clean. Servers very attentive. Decent prices for a family.

Food was good. So busy couldn't keep enough hot rolls out.

Great place to eat. Attentive server and the food on the buffet was fresh. The only downside was the depressing country music. A little more variety there would get them 5 stars from me.

Sticky. Thats probably the best word. I didnt go on purpose, i was forced into it, i feel violated in so many ways. Ptsd i will need counseling for.

You should have to prove that you are 70 or older and have a prescription for Zantac to enter. The blandest steak imaginable and vegetables cooked with no seasoning whatsoever.

Ponderosa never disappoints.. Food was fresh and very good.

Had one bad experience the last time I went. Took an hour to get my food. My family already got there plates and finished their food by the time I got mine. My plate was given to another table. I did get my food eventually. Besides this one time every other experience has been great. Good food.

Manager at the register was rude to my parents and the food was not good.

Nothing special. Food was unseasoned and unsavory. Atmosphere was unusual with the staff wearing masks. One server constantly readjusting hers, another server had his pulled under this nose. Meats over cooked and dry. Take out was much better. Vegetables were good.

They have a variety of salad fixings, hot food, and desserts.If you don't like buffet, they also have steaks, baked potatoes, and shrimp along with the buffet and salad and soup bar and dessert bars.

Reasonable price, good food but slow wait staff. Had to go up and ask for silverware and my drink numerous times.

It was very good,& the young lady that took care of us even plated up whatever foods or dessert we wanted!

Drove an hour to have Rids off of the buffet only to find out they no longer offer them , not a happy camper, dout I go back

Steaks were over cooked. Turkey stuffing was awful. Our waitress was great though!

Food was really great, staff was very friendly, only thing I was concerned with was the number of customers not following mask mandate rules, and also it not being enforced that you wear your masks while at the buffet lines.

I remember in the early 80s my family use to eat breakfast all you can eat Buffett.

Sirloin steak and fries took too long to get to the table. Waitress was awesome. Buffet was excellent. If the food didn't take to long get to the table. It would have been an excellent experience. Also some of the other food that was ordered was sent back cause they weren't hot enough. I give this a 3.

Clean and food was very good. Like a warm hug. Service was pleasant. Would go back

The absolute worst ribeye steak and overall meal i have ever had . tough as shoe leather said somthing to waitress and she laughed and walked away . Sad to have to throw a 15 dollar steak away.

Came here after daughters graduation and ordered the ribeye with buffet and was so glad I had the buffet! The ribeye was so thin and little that after two bites with a1 I knew I wasn t wasting time on that so called steak! The buffet made up for it as the jumbo fried shrimp was perfect and the country fried steak was great too! The gravy needs a little stir to get the tiny lumps to smooth but it was worth the effort! A spicy shrimp that s smaller is also decent but I couldn t handle the heat and found myself piling some broccoli with cheese on my plate and since it was in the center of buffet and had a metal serving spoon make sure your aware of the hot to touch utensils because it made me drop it and wonder why plastic couldn t be used! Be ware because they do get hot! My husband, who never picks fish complimented the catfish a few times and I lhad tried fried okra, as well as some green round Brussel sprouts that will rarely be a selection again! For desert I gained few pounds just waiting to make my plate full of different cookies, two cobblers, cheesecake,

I've only eaten the buffet. It would never be worth my while to try to eat an entre' and the buffet because there is always so many wonderful choices on the buffet itself.
The banana pudding is as good as my mom used to make.

Beat food in Vinncennes there is no decent place in Bicknell

The food was pretty good for a smorgasbord, but the service was AWFUL!!!! And I honestly don't think they were terribly fond of people of color, but that could just be my perception... but I won't be back, if that helps!

The Salad was 5 stars easily the hot food n meats were 3 stars and the watresses were stellar, 10 stars! They deserve a raise and huge tip, for all the extra work they have to do right now because of Covid.
Over all a really nice experience, Enjoy!!!

Steak had good flavor but a lot gristle. And why do the steaks never look like the pictures?

The food wasn't the greatest. Had the buffet. The pizza was okay. The other stuff seems cheaply made. Friendly staff though.

I wish we could go more there but family of 5 it can get pricey and it is worth it if you can afford it.

Temperatures of food on the bar were off. Prices are ridiculous. My family of 4 could've eaten at Outback cheaper than here. Food was mediocre at best.

We live in Terre Haute, Indiana and had to drive here to Vincennes to come eat..we used to have 2 Ponderosa restaurants in Terre Haute, but they closed them down a few yrs ago and we miss the food..

Go here for a wide selection and high volume of fair quality food. $33.53 was the price of the buffet with ice tea to drink, and that was before the tip. That seemed a bit high for us who tend not to eat too much at a buffet. This place is more for folks that want to sit and "graze" for the afternoon. I guess that is why we rarely dine here. The place was clean and well kept and the service was good.

No tiny fried drumettes, and the waiter put my sides and my guests sides (fries) on 1 plate. Awkward.

The hubby took me here for my birthday supper- it was wonderful and bot crowded at all!

The food was not as good as it used to be and half the food on the bar was empty.
I will say however my server was excellent.

Always a great place to eat when in Vincennes, however when I got up the next morning to fry my half left over baked potato with my breakfast it wasn't with my leftover bag. I understand the need for wait staff to bag and even staple the bag shut because there are those that would take from the buffet, but what a bummer not to have what I'd paid for.

They always have the best food and cost is on track with similar places.
