Terrible, terrible management. A foul ball hit a close family members windshield today and has completely ruined it. This could have easily easily killed her and caused major wrecks. Nonetheless, that member went to go talk to the hawks management where they told her it was on the road so therefor they are not liable. No apologies or anything for indangering her and others lives. Ridiculous behavoir and incredibly poor management.

So much fun! They have made some changes for the best..such a great way to get the family together. Live that they are doing the fireworks in the stadium and they really have improved the quality of the show! Loved it.

Idaho doesn t have a lot of professional sports teams to root for, but there s one based right here in Garden City.

With a history going back to 1987, the Boise Hawks play their home games at Memorial Stadium right on the Boise River next to the Western Idaho Fairgrounds.

In this fine location, Memorial Stadium can hold close to 3,500 spectators, has a natural grass playing field, and has undergone plenty of improvements since it first opened in 1989.

The Hawks play in the MLB partner Pioneer League and when we wrote this article they were independent from any MLB outfit.

As for the fan experience, food options are plentiful and diverse, but old favorites like hotdogs, peanuts and beer are both good and inexpensive.

There are fireworks before and after the game on Fourth of July, while Memorial Stadium hosts all kinds of outdoor events, from concerts to stunt shows.

We had a wheelchair and found the left field area was not accesible as we had been told when we bought our tickets. A rude server told us to go all the way down to the outfield fence and we could watch from their. ADA sensitivity training for staff is recommended. This is only my 2nd bad rating. It takes a lot for me to rate this low.

Always have fun going to Hawks baseball games. The staff is polite and friendly and the food is pretty good.

The stadium itself is showing it's age, seat leg space is very cramped and woe is anyone on the first base side on a hot sunny day sitting on metal benches.

Do yourself a favor and check it out, especially fun with friends and family.

It was our second visit to the stadium. The first time being just a couple weeks prior. ( had a great time that visit) that's why we were returning again. We walked up the stairs and handed the older guy our tickets as to they are a little confusing to us. He took us to where our seats were and told us where to sit. Everything was going great until the bottom of the second inning. He ( The same guy that sat us) came back down and asked us for the tickets for our seats. Then another guy, a younger guy with a beard came down and asked us again for our tickets and then very rudely told us we were in the wrong section and that we needed to move. Instead of helping us find our new seats he just told us to go to the opposite side of the stadium. Then it took two more people on that side to actually shows us the area. At that point we were both very frustrated with the whole experience and the professionalism of the staff. If the staff that helps you find your seats can't even put you in the correct seat how are we supposed to find them if we are new to the stadium.

It's always worthwhile to hit the ballpark in the summer and the Boise Hawks always put on a good show. There are activities to keep the kids engaged if sitting through the game is out of the question. Bounce houses, bounce race course, mini-baseball area are all available and keep kids engaged and out of trouble while you watch the game. The food offerings are pretty typical fare for ballpark food and there are various nights where there are food promos like "feed your face" and "dollar night" which always helps.

it's a fair priced location for most larger events and local baseball! seating is fair..and not too comfortable but thats not why you go there. serves alcohol and plenty of drinks and snacks food (it's a little over priced but yknow). the parking is pretty is generous too but of you don't get there early you'll probably be parking in the dirt parking lot which is OK. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Can't speak for their part time staff (ticket takers/servers etc) but their front office staff is great. Fun summer pastime. Talk to Jonathan Jensen if you wanna find tickets that fit your needs. He's the best!
